Awesome battery now!! - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

I have awesome battery now after trying many roms. I'm using rextreme 4.3 stable with megabass audio driver and boeffla kernel. I'm using boeffla config to set it to 500 mhz touch boost, all loggers off, -75mv cpu, 160/266 gpu with -15mv.
In setcpu I've set 1200 to maximum and using smartass v2. These are the settings on setcpu and what battery life I get with using YouTube for 2 hours, a bit of hspa+ and the rest Internet browsing. The phone only gets hot occasionally and my battery is 2 years old. Soon I will get a 7500 mah battery which will be great!

It's pretty simple really. When you are using your phone as a phone it doesn't require a lot of your processor or ram. However when you are using apps, especially apps that have a lot of graphics to them then you are using substantially more of your ram and processing power. And the more the processor and ram are working the more electricity is flowing through them and the hotter it gets.
Think you I been trying to use ram manger and here what I have it runns smooth am on aokp m6 my ns tools set to this governor conservative, min CPU freq 100mhz,Max CPU freq 1000mhz, oc value 100%, oc target low 100 MHz, oc target high 1500 MHz....

Can some one tell me some good settings to put it on plz my CPU and stuff
Sent from my SGH-I897 using xda app-developers app
If you're on the stock kernel, there aren't very many settings to set. Even with a custom kernel, each phone behaves differently and the only way to find out is by experimenting.

Low performance with low battery

Anytime my battery drops below 35-40% my phone becomes sluggish and sometimes unresponsive. Is this normal? When it has a full battery or when plugged in its like after a fresh install.

What kernel and rom are you using? Maybe you have set profile wchich underclock cpu when battery is low.

Yes in out scheduler. But it shouldn't make problem. If that's card problem run test on computer and watch its speed. Then you can higher cache level to 2MB and set vr/sio

Over clocking has nothing to do with your video player basically your kernel should support that. Try changing to a different kernel or use a 3rd party app to play your videos

I cant change my cpu freq

My cpu freq is always 1000mhz max 1000mhz min. I used setcpu and no frills cpu control but they wont work. The only thing that can work is the i/o scheduler. And what is the best setting? And is there any app that can turn off your networks and turn on after 15-30 min for sync?

Q - Has anyone tried interactive governor?

I downloaded system tuner and noticed the stock governor is ondemand. I switched to interactive. I was wondering if anyone else had done the same. If so, can anyone report on a drastic change in battery life.

I have tried it using rom toolbox. Works good but to me it drains battery faster.

I've noticed a significant drain myself as well. Nonetheless, I'm at 8 hours on battery, and I'm still over 50%. The battery life on this phone is amazing!
