Friends, bottom part of my canvas turbo 's touch screen is not working and for rest screen, touch screen is working but not smoothly. Can we calibrate it or do something??
You can try to flash ur phn with custom firmware or u will hv to get ur screen changed but it can't be calibrated

when having an alarm the screen goes off after a second or two.
so if i want to act for the alarm i cant just slide the screen to unlock the alarm, but i must first click on the on/off button.
thats annoying

it doesnt matter how the display timeout is set.
the screen even with 10 minutes of display timeout goes black after an alarm in a few seconds...
Will installing clock.apk with newer one or the kernel which i use might solve the problem. if you want i can upload my working .apk and kernel.

if i need root for that, than that would be a no solution for me. (not rooted yet)

I successfully changed the outer screen glass of my note n7000 because it was cracked... but now the touchscreen doesn't work properly !!!
I have to press really hard... I need help with this... Is there a way to make the touchscreen more touch responsive????
I have a rooted phone with Supernexus build 4 on it...

You can download an app called touch screen tune (galaxy note) from the play store - with that you can increase its sensitivity. You will have to buy a code though if you want to use it all the time.

your better of replacing the whole unit as this is common with glass replacements
Got that problem too when I replaced the glass. Sometimes it even pressed something I didnt press and so on. After a while sadly my amoled got a crack too so I had to change the whole unit, (Ordered one on ebay with spen- panel) and then I changed it myself. Now I'm happy again to have a fully functional phone.

For the past few days I have noticed that My optimus Blacks home button..back button...system and search button tends to unresponsive for some time...but after touching them or pressing search button and they act normally..its very annonying..I havnt rooted my phone and its original ICS running..

When i call someone the screen become black . I know it not a problem . But when call ended the screen still black and wont turn on . I already push the power but nothing happen .. This always happen when i call someone. What should i do ??

I'm on stock rom 2.254
Facing the same problem too. I'd have to press the power button twice to get the screen to turn on again after the call.
Got my face off the proximity sensor and yet my screen remain blank.
Symptom is quite similar with the screen on button issue where one has to press the power button 3 times to get the screen to show up from sleep.
I guess we just have to wait/hope for sony to resolve em..
I use existens roms . but when i use another rom i have same problem .

I am on stock 2.254 and this never happened to me untill yesterday once. Today it happened again after one call. It does not happen on all the calls. It's totally random , just like the wake-up bug or whatever it's called. I tried to reproduce it but I was not able.

Check those display flex cable connectors.
you could try going to stock rom again too see if it because your screen or the rom
I got back to stock rom but the problem was not fixed,i will get it back to repair
