[Q] Need help-Galaxy S i9000 won't connect to the internet

Need urgent help.. My galaxy s won't connect to internet even when packet data is checked.. This happens after updating to Froyo JP6(mod).. Can anyone help me pls? I'm new to android.. Thank you..

Check the if the APN is right Settings --> Wireless.. --> Mobile Network --> APN
There sould be two one for the mms and one for the Web Connection..
Web Connection should be tickt and it should be the Provider relevant APN..

Hi my friends, first sorry about my english. i have one Samsung Galaxy S Plus i9001 and I've installed different version of CM9 development for i9001. but all of them have WIFI difficulties!! :crying: they can find wifi connections but cannot connect to any of them. there is no response!! in some of them after i entered wifi access password, my phone shown:"Not in Range"...
did any of you test wifi for these releases of CM9?

Did u have that problem on Gingerbread?If u did then it's a hardware problem.I have cm9 too on my s plus and no wifi problems.

i have the same problem... well kinda...
my wifi works but some networks don't appear... and before with another ROM everyhitng worked!
anyone knows how to fix this?

Hello, I live in china, i can't download the xperia privilege app, how do i set up a vpn in the phone? every vpn i have tried is blocked.
i downloaded a version i found in the internet but it was version 2.0 i think theres a new version but i cant download it from china, i tried many vpn services but noone worked, then i found this site i hope you guys can help me
Could anyone upload the app? i think there's a new version, 2.1

I've installed ROM indrenaline finale on my android ACE GT-S5830.
It's lovely but I've got a problème with wifi connexion.
The first time my device connected well.
But after a reboot, my device blocked on "Ontaining IP address from..."
If I delete all my user data it works the first time but after it blocks.
Could you help me please?

try wifi fixer app from play store! hope it works n hit thnx if helpd.

Or you can try to setup a static ip
