hi all
I have a question, I have a Kindle Fire HD 7 with TWRP Recovery everything worked but the application nova launcher disappeared could not delete it or reinstall it so I did a wipe, but lost the root when you try to do it again had problems with coomand SU, with wire factory try doing a factory recovery with my backup.
appered after to restore a red screen and my computer does not recognize any new device
micro usb cable = kindle fire logo and red screen after
factory cable = fasboot logo and not recognize any device
not a problem for drivers is a problem with the tab
any ideas to fix?
tnx
Have you tried everything available to you first? This includes: factory resetting by booting into recovery and doing a whole system wipe, SD card included; see if you're at luck and ADB or fastboot still works by flashing the stock Amazon OS, assuming CMD still recognizes your fastboot.
Other than that, I'm out of options. I'd try to return it and hope for a refund or an exchange. However, you're only dealing with a soft brick, because if it's a hard brick, the whole tablet won't turn on at all, so at least it's not a paperweight at this point. I'd try to reach out to Hashcode or Soupmagnet or Reverendkjr on this forum and ask for help.
Yes, all that and tried
It sounds like your kindle updated to 7.3.0 the boot loader hack doesn't get along with that...read the last few pages in the boot loader three I think you'll fix your problem

SAME HERE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!! DONT USE KF First Aide tool!!!
Help the same thing has happened to me i need to get in to fastboot mode but i cant
any help would be great
is their a kindle fIre hd recovery tool from amazon as i cant boot up
this was the kf first aid tool that did this to me
There's actually a way I can think of, but I don't know if it will work. As long as you can find the bootloader files for the tablet, you can try to ask someone to JTAG your KFHD7. The process involves taking apart the tablet, using electricity to provide power while re-writing the bootloader so you can end up in fastboot mode. It's not very expensive, a regular Galaxy S3 takes 45-60 bucks and within a week. That's the only thing I have left for y'all.

So when you plug in your factory cable and power it on it enters fastboot.... correct? But then the computer does not detect the fastboot drivers? I'm a bit confused lol

Have you tried installing kindle first aide tool which can be found on a thread in this forum. I had the same problem with the red screen so I bought a factory cable, directed the computer to the KFF folder and installed the fastboot driver. After that the computer recognised my device and I was able to restore using option 3 of the first aide tool. Hope this helps. Good luck

jmar8124 is correct, my device enter fasboot mode but the computer no detect device.
Can you send fastboot commands to it? Try "fastboot -i 0x1949 reboot" and see if it reboots. As long as you can send fastboot commands to it, you're good to go.

Try the Kindle Fire area. This is the Kindle Fire HD 7. You will find your answer there.
OK I'm confused because of the typos, can you get into twrp, because it doesn't need root to flash, if you can't then a fastboot cable is your best bet.

Hi,
my daughter kindle does not work anymore, yesterday after hard shutdown...
it like 2 week, this kindle act odd. but now, nothing is working. all i did last December was rooting, it work fine.
right now, all it does is stuck in the kindle fire logo, it moving and the lit is on...
I try volume up and turn on, nope.
I try to connect to pc, ADB not recognized.
I do not have an factory cable, do i need a factory to resolve the problem?
I dont think i have a ROM problem. but i dont touch it...
if the problem come from ROM, how/where can I choose the good one
If there is no solution, do Amazon accept rooting tablet
I have Kindle Fire HD, X43Z60
thx for helping
sorry for my bad english

I try a fastboot cable/adapter to see if you can restore the os. I recommend the blackhat adapters mentioned in hashcode's 2nd bootloader + twrp tutorial in the development section.

I read in some topic that if the kindle fire logo stay lid indefinitely i'm in fastboot... But i try "fastboot -i 0x1949 getvar product", it show only waiting device, i try to turn off and on, nothing happen.
is that mean, i need a Factory Cable to make it work again??
I don't know where you read that but it is wrong, if it stays on the orange logo it means you are in a bootloop. When in fastboot it will come up on the screen and say "fastboot" in a logo form. You have to have a fastboot cable to get it into fastboot mode when it is stuck in a bootloop that has the orange logo only.

oh, ok.
It show only " kindle fire " and than animation "kindle fire"
that mean, only way to fix this is with a fastboot cable, factoy cable?
is it like 99% luck to fix it?
i guess i will buy a cable and try to fix it. it still in warranty but it rooted... so no go
it should be completely fixable, no luck involved, just a fastboot adapter, my drivers and the kffa utility and it should be able to restore just fine.

Rooted won't matter if it's in a bootloop. They only check for external damage and send it back to the factory. If it don't boot into the OS then tell them that and you should get a refurbished one.
Exit: What I mean is that a bootloop prevents them from seeing why this happened. Could happen from many things. Otherwise use Stunts suggestion.

Hi, I own a Kindle Fire HD 7', I got cyanogen mod on it but when I tryed to erase it something went wrong and I now have no OS. The kindle doesn't have twrp recovery. Any time I plug it in it turns on and a kindle fire logo appears, then disappears, and then reappears. This also happens when I boot it up with no charger. Is there a way to get any OS, I would prefer the kindle fire hd stock os! Please HELP!!

ok, will do thanks a lot, but is there another way, a while ago about 3 months when i tried to fix it i got it into fastboot with no fastboot cable, I also have no second bootloader. i didn't get around to actually getting back into it until now. I forgot how i did get it into fastboot, so I know it's got the fastboot files in it, but my computer does't see it as adb or anything.

I was trying to install twrp on my Kindle using a app from a tutorial. When I reboot to try twrp a red screen shows up so I order a fastboot cable, then i plug the fastboot cable in and get in to fastboot mode. FOR SOME REASON the kindle fire wont show as a fastboot device or a adb device even though i had the drivers.
So I reboot the kindle to see if its the kindle that's making the problem but on reboot the kindle just turns on shows fastboot then shuts off. P.S. windows does not detect anything. PLZ tell me I didnt hard brick my Kindle
Did you root it 1st?

You didn't hardbrick it. You missed the stack override before installing TWRP, so it shows you the red screen. You need a fastboot cable.

If it's a hardware issue, you'll have to take it apart & replace the faulty parts.

If it's not a driver issue, then you probably need to charge your battery somehow.
