I installed Gear Manager on my Nexus 5. I have a Gear 2 Neo watch and was wondering how to download apps from the Samsung Apps store onto my Gear 2. There is no option to access Samsung Apps in my Gear Manager app and Im stuck with the default apps that are already preloaded on the Gear 2.

You can't because you don't have a samsung phone. The samsung App Store is locked in to Samsung products only. That's why I'm trying to find someone who can extract the apps and post them so we all can experiment on ways to side load them..

I have 2 galaxy gears which I use with one galaxy note 2. If I try to install an app such as CNN that is already installed on the other gear, gear manager will not allow me to install it on the second gear. Is this a limitation/bug in the manager?
I have the Samsung S4 Model SGH-1337M - Android version 4.4.2
- Just updated my Samsung Galaxy Gear 1 to Tizen through Samanug Kies with no problem.
- Samsung Gear manager was also updated to version 2.1.14052101.
- The Samsung Apps version is 14041504.21.032.0
A coleague of mine just updated his Galaxy Gear 1 but he owns a Samsung S3 running Android 4.4.2
He is also running the same version of Gear Manager.
Problem Description:
When comparing upgrades, I noticed that he installed new apps on his Gear1 watch that I cannot see on my Gear Manager Samsung Apps.
We compared all software versions and they are all the same.
His Gear Manager showed an additional category that is not on my category list and a lot of apps that I do not see in my list.
For example I do not have the finance group of apps and apps in every sections are missing and not the same.
Please see attached screen shots from both phones.

Has anyone noticed the same behavior. Is there a reason not to see or download apps?
@nkgear the S4 doesn't yet link well with Gear 1 Tizen
If you are rooted change your build.prop in /system/app
Search in Gear General thread, it's discussed several times

The same here. I haven't rooted my Galaxy, so have to wait for Samsung to solve this crazy problem?
SAMSUNG SOLVE IT.
I'm trying to get MapMyRun to show up in the Gear Manager Store. Modifying my build.prop gave me more apps in the store, but no MapMyRun. Has anyone been able to download the app on a Tizen Gear 1?
My Setup:
VZW Note 3 KK 4.4.2 (Hyperdrive NC4)
Gear (V700XXUCNE9)
Gear Manager v2.1.14052101
Samsung App v14040104.21.007.0
I am so VERY frustrated!!!
I had to factory reset my Galaxy S5 since it had a bug that drained the battery even while on charge.
After restoring the phone and reconnecting my Gear 2 Neo all of the apps from the Gear App Market I had previously downloaded are not available for download again.
Each app I had is shown in the market as already on the Neo and stated as viewable in 'My apps' but none of the apps are shown on the device or Gear Manager.
So
I can't reinstall previously installed apps on my GEAR 2 NEO?
PLEASE help!!

I have same problem.
I would uninstall the gear manager from the device. At that point it will remove all Gear stuff. If not you may have to factory reset. If you are rooted you can use titanium backup to force remove the apps
Solved

I managed to solve the issue. However this was not done by simply uninstalling Gear Manager.
1. First Factory reset Gear device
2. Unpair Gear from bluetooth menu in your phone/tablet
3. Clear Data and Clear Cache on everything relating to the Gear on the phone/tablet. (these can be all found in the Application Manager in Settings and are all marked with the Gear icon)
Gear Plugin
GearModule
goproviders
HostManager
Samsung Accessory Service
Samsung Gear
saproviders
SASystemProviders
Update Gear software
4. After clearing data and cache on each of the above uninstall them all.
5. Restart your phone/tablet/phablet
6. Download Gear Manager from Galaxy App store
7. Search for your Gear device using the Gear Manager app and start pairing with Gear (as if for the first time).
8. At this point i chose not to do a restore on the Gear device through the Gear Manager so I had a clear slate
All of the apps I had previously downloaded still showed in my purchase history but were now available to download.
Hope this works for others!

It worked. Thank you very much for your time and detailed instructions. ????
I create a Tizen application for Gear S2 and I want to add feature to install another application (I know app id, name and other information).
Also I know how to launch Galaxy Apps or Samsung Apps from my Gear S2 application to install something but I can't find any information how to launch Samsung Gear Apps from my code.
The question is how to launch Samsung Gear (Samsung Gear Apps) application installed on my phone from my code (from application on Gear S2). I just need to know correct url.
Note: To call Samsung Apps I use the tizen.application.launchAppControl() function and correct link.
I would appreciate any information you could provide.
