Running a little late with the update. All I'm gonna do is swap meta-inf with captains Rom. If anyone has already done that, what are your thoughts in this? How's the performance and battery life going?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
I used captains rom for a base so that should work.

Make sure you on the 4.0 or above...wouldnt work with anythin besides ICS!!
I keep getting network error too no matter what I do

Here you go guys for anyone having issues with the s voice giving them the network error. Use this .zip instead. That would mean delete the s voice you now have and flash this one in a custom recovery.
link = http://www.mediafire.com/?v8csgac8b5qw3jr
This may not work with TWRP. I had to put all the files that are located in the zip on the phone manually. And in the end i had no luck idk what i might have been doing wrong but you can check the og forum post if what i posted didnt work.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662255
try the signed zip
still looking for the whole pack
I actually did try that one already. I also tried changing my build.prop. I personally just gave up spent like4 hrs trying to do it with no success so I'm done I wouldn't have used it much anyways. just wanted to try it out.
uninstall and reboot
want me to extract my apk and email it you??
hit me in the pm
I guess I'll give it one last shot.

Works great for me. The wake-up command doesn't do anything unless I'm in the app but you can press and hold the search button and it will prompt to be the default if you want it to. I'm running stock ICS not rooted and its fine.
I snagged the APK from the 'Themes and Apps' section.
Firmware XXLRQ base, rooted and deodexed, simply and stable. It's a stock rom.
Fkash it, from CWM or Odin mobile. It's no wipe.

I disagreed with your statement "they work for ALL variants"
anyway people should get an accurate answer to their questions.

is this a good sign lollipop official will be here soon ?
I have an LG F6, and LG just abandoned that after initial release.
Apologies if this has been asked already. Is there a way to revert to ANY build (custom or stock) of Lollipop after having flashed a Marshmallow build on a Nexus 6? I'd appreciate a link to the thread is this has been discussed elsewhere.
TIA
Just download and flash via fastboot the stock google images: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Not necessary to flash the factory images. If you've got twrp just download a custom 5.1.1 ROM and gapps, flash in recovery after wiping everything but internal storage. Your radio an bootloader are backwards compatible. I bounced back twice. No problems. On 511 now.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
If you retain the Marshmallow radio as blueyes suggests, though, you will probably still have no T-Mobile band12 LTE support, if you live in an area where that is important for you.
