My favorite one would be AOSP Gingerbread 2.3.7 for Cooper by @SpaceCaker. Just flash it once to notice the difference. Here is the link,
AOSP GingerBread 2.3.7 for Cooper
Hope I Helped

cm10.2 lags on mine so i'm now using adrenaline rom.

My fav was droid ace... I liked it so much...

Well, there is a lot custom rom I like.
My favorite cm7 is ultimatum, cm7 reincarnation, cm9 nebulosity, but cm9 by rhievaldo are great too, and cm10.1, cm10.2, cm11 by Mardon :good:

As per xda rule there is no such word, "Best ROM".

You should take down "the best" part from the question. Otherwise Mod's might close this thread.

Thread closed as a "best ROM" thread. Please review the XDA Forum Rules.

[Q] best custom rom for SGM?

Title says it all. What is the best rom for our device?
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
it depends how you use you phone..
if performance and battery long life the best is the cm7 from mebitek
if tweaks and customization the cm7 from squadzone is for you
if you want smoothness use the emanon rom
sorry for my bad english
come one. there's so much question about this.
There's no 'the best one' I suppose.
Every custom ROM have its own advantages.
Even Stock ROM may be the best for several users...

I agree with you
just try everything, understand everything, then you will find what works best for you.
i prefer to use chocobread for my SGM
I have no problem using it
sorry my english is bad
It's all you no point of creating threads like this. Thanks to developers for creating such roms we must no do a poll or anything it may disturb them

emanon + squadzone cm7.2
First custom rom i had was emanon v4 then v5 those roms i thought look so cool. Ive been using squadzones cyanogen mod for 2 months and it has so many features its awesome! S2e if u know what that is works flawlessly on cm7 but not so for emanon. Andro-id i hear is another good 1 by tj styles i believe let us know what u think if u try andro-id as i havent googled ant screenshots or anything for it
Now I'm using CM7 from squadzone, but it doesn't mean that it is the best for me.
I agree that every ROM has their own benefit. Just make sure you know what you want to do with ur SGM, and understand what ROM fit with your needs.

But if we think of performance and tweaks cm 7.2 by squadzone is better
Sent from my GT-S5570 using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
I recommand the official CM 7.2 RC1 its whit fewer tweaks but stabil, but 7.2 by squadzone is ok to
I tried mebitek but my mobile network won't work. Helpp.

Minisense v3.5 is good... there is practically no FC's, its very fast and stable, also it looks good. U get the HTC's feel... only downside is the certain characters from the keyboard cant be displayed... v4 is also coming up soon...

[Q] whats the most stable rom now available for P1000

i just rooted my sister's galaxy tab gt-p1000 which is in gingerbread in ages now... being so frustrated she decided to let me root t and install a custom rom, rooting done now my next step is to put a good, smooth, versatile rom into the tab,.. i see some jellybean ,ics roms in the developement and frankly i dont know which one is best. nobody likes ramdom FC's so i hope i can find a rom that is stable too.
query: i was wondering if i flashed the CM9 ics for p1tab. do i just flash straight from gingerbread to cm9 ics? where can i get the gapps too?
You know xda doesn't allow "best rom" question.
You try out the roms and make your own decision.
About flashing ics, you need cwm recovery.
Gapps here
http://goo.im/gapps
Cm9 is ics.
Cm10 is jb.
Grab the right version.

cool... definitly gonna try that one out... what makes this your favorite rom considering its stable?
is this it? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523174
Sorry but I've closed this thread as has already been said, best/most stable ROM threads have no place on the forums as it's so subjective to opinion. Lots of people have different opinions and also just because a ROM is stable on one device it may not be on another as devices don't react the same.
As suggested try them out for yourself and find the one that's best for YOU as that's what matters
Thanks

[Q] What ROM I should choose?

Hi,
I just bought a SGS+ and I am curious what ROM shoud I choose?(I`ve seen a lot here) Because stock ROM lag`s every time I unlock phone, sometimes apps lag a couple of seconds and I would preffer ICS based ROM but I can try JellyBean too.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys!
Thanks.
Really comes down to your preferences. Some are feature rich, some are slimmed down, still others are aimed at gamers and performance. Personally I'm enjoying the Tsunami builds in the 4.1.2 flavor. Just check out a few until one suits you.

Ok!
I understand. Well, I think that I will download and start to test some of them! Thanks for the tip, I will start with that one that you reccomended.

Np and welcome to xda. Be prepared to become addicted to flashing. Lol. Enjoy. Oh and don't forget to click thanks. Cheers.

There are many good ROMs, you should try them and decide what is the best for you.
If you want more performance or if you don't want lag, you can flash a kernel with OC support, you can change the governor and the IO scheduler.
Good luck
I too own a SGS + and for me Bio Hazard is the perfect ICS Rom.
While Gigabread + is the perfect Gingerbread Rom.
But that are my views, it may not be the perfect match for you, so just try out all the ROMs, and one last thing, Jellybean at the sec is a little buggy so stick with 2.3 or 4 !
Ty Brahmnoor! I've tryed Biohazzard and it is a great ROM! Till now!
the topic can be closed! ty all!

no probs !
I strongly recommend using Jelly Bean ROMs rather than ICS ones. There are several reasons for that because JB is clearly an upgrade to ICS and not to mention the notorius ICS media bug.
You can start working with cm rom's i find them very attractive. although flashed today MagicBean rom, pretty nice to.
All you need to do is start working in that, keep on trying
My two favs...and the only 2 i switch between after trying almost everything there is.
1. CM9 + Devil Kernel (ICS)
2. Saurom + Semaphore 2.7.4 (gingerbread)
Currently using Saurom + semaphore 2.7.4
Just recently flashed this and im very impressed and pleased.

Guys! This is an SGS+ I9001 and not an i9000! Stop telling the OP to flash i9000 ROMS oO.
Sent from my Gameboy Color
Mate there are plenty of ROMS!
But I'll list down some you should try!
Arco86 CM9 Beta 3
Hypnos17 BioHazard v5
Ivendor CM9 RC5
Camcory CM10
Camcory CM10 Pac-Man
There's a lot, so be sure to visit the I9001 Android Development Thread!

I would suggest trying out the JB ROM by Ivendor (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828). I'm pretty happy with it, especially since I do not use the features mentioned in that thread as buggy/not working.
The overall performance is awesome, the user interface is very smooth and battery life is better than I had with CM9 ROM.

true.
op, there is no best rom. each rom is suited to different tastes/needs. you might get flamed or reported for starting threads like this. there aren't many jb roms for this device, and most of them support the same kernels. try them all out if you wosh, but please don't start another "best rom" thread.
Just because i don't doesn't mean i can't.

I recommend JellyBlur with NAA Kernel.
The fastest JB rom in my opinion.
On second place i think is MiniJB also with NAA Kernel.
The third place is CM10 whick is somehow overloaded and heavy.
I think Simple bean is awesome..
