Hello Everyone!!
After almost chilling out for a year on XDA, this is my first contribution
I've tried out many ROMS for our beloved devices, but couldn't stay on a single ROM for more than 3-4 days....
Then I thought, why shouldn't I make my own ROM according to my taste and have full liberty of customizing it....
SO after a week or two of reading through guides and checking videos, here it is!! My first ROM based on Gingerbread
(imo our devices were meant to run on GB  )
I've been using this Rom for over a month now without any problems, so i decided to share it with the community...hope you like it!!
And guys, please dont hesitate to tell me if you want anything new or want a new feature or want it removed...we're always here to help you....thanks....you guys mean a lot to me

a bit off topic
---------- Post added at 10:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:31 AM ----------
Tested the rom no bug yet found
very smooth
some things missings bro such as cpu control
love the transparent status bar (someway to remove battery percentage in it)
Enabled 2g/3g toggle in quicktoggles button but not appearing in statusbar
Great rom straight out of the box :good:
As pentium has said no 2g 3g toggle in statusbar is the only fault I find so far.
I tried to load CM'S focal camera.apk , but all I get in ES File explorer is "there is a problem parsing the package"
I don't know if it will ever be able to be intsalled or not, but if it could be, this would be my perfect rom !!!!
Never the less, it's great as it is, congratulations
Flash
Nicely made ROM!!! I love the smoothness, themes are fantastic, performance is superb. BUT, I have a request- Could you make a flashable Zip to add panorama please??? It's something I use alot hehe... Thanks you for the ROM, now I can show off to my friends haha!!!

What's new?
V4.05: Not much news, everybody is working on Android 4.4 KitKat. This version has only updated to newest CM10.2 sources.
WARNING:
When flashing V4.05 after full wipe the setup assist will crash. You need to flash V4.04, then setup everything, then flash V4.05 without full wipe. Only wipe cache and dalvik-cache. then it works.
SOLUTION
When the initial setup manager hangs press volume up or down.
When the volume bar appears press the icon on the left of the bar and settings will open.
In settings enable WiFi and connect to a WiFi network manually
Press the home button and initial setup manager will start again, but this time it will not hang.
To enable the navigation buttons in the status bar:
Settings->Interface->Expanded desktop->select "Status bar visible"
Settings->Interface->Status bar->check "Enable Navigation in status bar"
Press power button to get power menu ->click on "Expanded desktop"
To enable brightness control by swyping on the status bar:
Settings->Display->Brightness->disable automatic brightness control
Settings->Interface->Status bar->check “Brightness control”
What's this about?
This is the next release of my Ganbarou GT series of ROMs.
It is based on Android 4.3 and CM10.2 source code and flavoured to my own needs.
I build this ROM from sources for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500/GT-P7501/GT-P7510/GT-P7511), the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) and (if my wife gives it back to me) the Galaxy Note (GT-N7000).
What's the difference to Cyanogenmod CM10.2?
There is no official CM10.2 ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Initial differences to generic CM10.2 are:
Ganbarou wallpaper
Ganbarou bootanimation
Ganbarou About screen (Ganbarou changelog, Ganbarou version, Ganbarou easter egg)
Reboot and Recovery on top level of power menu
Navigation buttons can be placed left, right or centered on the lower bar
Added TitaniumBackup (in appsdata) for quick restore after you installed a new ROM
Added GooManager for updates of the ROM
Added JellyBean 4.3 compatible Google apps
Edited APN list to cover Softbank Japan
Adds free hosts file
Removed Cyanogenmod initialisation app
Removed Cyanogenmod updater
Removed Cyanogenmod wallpapers
Removed all live wallpapers
What are your risks with this ROM?

*/
How to install:
Get the ROM
From my homepageFrom Goo.IMFrom MegaFrom XDA-developers projects
Copy it to your internal SDcard
Reboot the tablet into recovery mode (CWM or TWRP, both works if you have the latest version)
In case you come from a ROM that is not Android 4.3 then a factory reset / full wipe is necessary. I recommend a full wipe in any case to get a clean installation.
Flash the ROM
Wipe cache and dalvik-cache
Reboot
Where can I download the ROM?
Obviously you skipped the "How to install" section. Check a few lines above for the instructions and download links.
If you are interested to build the ROM fresh from sources you can checkout my repository on Github.

Working fine on my tablet, as you can see on the screenshot in my first post. What modem do you have installed at the moment? Maybe you need to update the modem to the latest version?
Ok guys here i bring you the TabletUI back on GTab and android 4.3. I hope it works, cant test it at the moment. I attached two versions. The 2nd one is for reflashing of the boring PhabletUI. Try it out and give some feedback.

Hello hanspampel,
Thanks for your work. Didn't try your patch yet, it is too late here.
You patched my source or the compiled ROM? Is it switchable or permanent? Can you share with me what you changed? I can try to bring it back to my ROM if it doesn't mess up the syncing with the original CM sources.
I patched your ROM. Its not switchable, its hardcoded. Like it was on CM10.1. So no chance of in app changing or something else. This is why i attached the PhabletUI too.
Ive found the code here.
Just got a message that the camera is not working. I confirmed on my tablet that it is true. Anbody out there with the camera working?
I am sorry for the problem. Will try to fix it asap and post a new version.

Cool thnx for the effort! Have you compared it to CM10.1? I'm currently running cm10.1 on my galaxy tab 10.1 and I recently switched from cm10.1 to cm10.2 on my S4. I experienced more snappiness with 10.2 on the S4, I was wondering if this would give me a similar performance boost on my galaxy tab .

Yeah, I read that, cool bro!
But did you, by chance, compare it's performance to the performance on the previous version of android (4.2.2)? Is it snappier, of just on par?

My personal feeling is that Android 4.3 is snappier than 4.2.2. I didn't run any benchmarks and speed tests on the ROMs, as I always prefer to feel it in person. And I still think 4.3 is faster than 4.2.2.
But never forget, even if 4.3 is now officially released, there will come a lot of improvements before Android 5.0 is available as source! You might see some situations where the OS is slowing down or even crashing! But that is what Android is about! Continous improvement, release by release! And OPENSOURCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That makes the difference to iOS and WindowsMobile (or whatever they call it now).

No visual differences to CM10.2 ROMs. My mods are under the hood. See differences list.
herna said:
Just to ask: you can call it a custom ROM? The differences are so little referred to Cyanogenmod 10.2, just added bootanimation and wallpapers, and added apps, that are not enough changes for be a ROM like ParanoidAndroid, PAC-man ROM, SlimROM or CarbonROM. Just my opinion. And also you released all versions today for all devices, it has not sense to say you compile for so much devices.

PACman, SlimROM, CarbonROM are developer teams with several members, I am a single person team. And there are changes like Navbar moveable on tablet ROMs, Recovery Reboot on top of shut-down menu and other things as you can see in the changelog. Wait for more.
And I own the Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy S4, so it is logical to publish ROMs for all the devices I own. Every compilation for the 6 devices takes me 1.5 hours, not to talk about the time it takes to test them.
If you have a problem with that, just do changes to the source by yourself, compile and test them successfully, and then post here again.
Didn't read any restriction here on XDA that do not allow me to post my ROMs.
Please take one of the mentioned ROMs and stop spamming my thread.
Thank you!

Why do you think Cyanogenmod ROMs come without Google apps? Because Google warned them not to include the Gapps. But that's because Cyanogemod ROMs are flashed on 10 thousands of android devices and some of them don't have originally the Gapps on them.
My ROM is flashed just 500 times and all devices are coming originally with Gapps installed. Therefor I don't think it is illegal.
Awesome
Much easier to update

The day after tomorrow
elementaryUX
This is elementaryUX, a ROM that focuses on creating the best user experience for our phones, while mantaining a fancy look.
I always liked MIUI for its light UI, but MIUI's framework is too heavy for our computing power. So I took the best ICS ROM for our device and created my own ROM with light UI.
This ROM is based on Erikcas CM9.2 with the following additional features:
1.8
Full GPU rendering
[*]Fixed xposed installation permissions
[*]Removed network in-out arrow icons to save some CPU cycles on status-bar rendering
[*]New LowMemoryKiller configuration that drastically improves multitasking
1.7
New Adaptive Overclock feature
[*]Fully functional LowMemoryKiller from 3.4 kernel
[*]LZ4 compression for ZRam, kernel and ramdisk
[*]New xposed installation method (see "Tips" below)
[*]Greenify and MinMinGuard modules included
[*]Revised some UI elements
1.6
Fixed multitouch
1.5
Keep maximum entropy with Haveged, frandom and erandom modules
[*]Fix Phone.apk FC when changing language
[*]Add Shuttle Music Player
[*]Update Touchpal X and MiFile Explorer
1.4
Implemented Dynamic cache pressure and writeback parameters
[*]Added a NoSweep version for whoever doesn't need Sweep2Wake, DoubleTap2Wake etc.
[*]Fixed in-call screen UI for the light themes
1.3
Consolidated Flat-style theming
[*]Improved multitasking
[*]Fixed speaker noise problem
1.2
Brightness slider inside the notification panel
[*]New light theme with desaturated green accents
[*]Revised Clair theme
[*]New system theme based on Gem Flat by xIC-MACIx
[*]Screen off Fade-out animation (turn off CRT animation if you want to see this)
[*]Global SwipeBack feature (swipe left from the right side of the action bar)
[*]Dynamic Overclock
[*]Customized Zeam launcher as default
[*]iOS7-styled statusbar
1.0
elementaryKernel Custom Version
[*]Fixed low in-call volume
[*]Fixed audio routing (thank Venkatesh for both of these fixes)
[*]Blackberry 10 lockscreen
[*]21-step media volume
[*]Dark and Light proprietary UI
[*]Fully LDPI resized
[*]Maximum PNG optimization of all the apps
[*]System clean-up
[*]iOS7 Ringtones/Notifications
[*]Touchpal X Keyboard with iOS7 theme (can be applied inside Touchpal settings)
[*]Insecure Superuser binary
[*]Xposed framework preinstalled
[*]CM11 bootanimation
[*]Custom framework animations

What is Adaptive Overclock?
If the max frequency is higher then 600 MHz, the CPU will be allowed to use that frequency only in extreme cases, when it is actually needed. (e.g. gaming, surfing internet, heavy multitasking)
This feature works only with the Wheatley governor.
Do you think that USB Mass Storage doesn't work? Well you're wrong..
Go to Settings -> Storage, press Menu button, go to USB Computer Connection and tick Mass Storage.
Tips:
To use the Light UI go to Settings -> Themes and apply Elementary or Clair theme
[*]To install xposed framework:
Reboot
Open Terminal Emulator
Type su and press enter
Type xposed and press enter
Reboot
Open Xposed and configure your modules
[*]Use Greenify and its experimental features to maintain performance over time
[*]Use MinMinGuard Xposed module to get rid of ads
[*]If you use sd-ext, don't move Dalvik Cache or App Data to sd, it will slow down your phone (note: int2ext does this, better use 40a2sd script)
[*]A2SD flashable zip
[*]Don't use any Performance pack, mod, flashable zip whatsoever. What they mostly do is tweak the kernel values, which I already did before compiling the kernel

[*]Tillaz
[*]evilisto
[*]xIC-MACIx
[*]nerotix

Yes it works and I really recommend it. You can even use its experimental features right after installing the app because the Xposed framework is already installed.

I also notice QuickPic FC's, I have no idea why. I guess I'll just include the stock gallery in the next version to avoid this.
Xposed cannot be updated neither in the original CM9.2. This is a compatibility problem between the Xposed installer and the su binary.
But why would you try to update it? The latest 2.4.1 version of the framework is already installed, there is nothing to update.

Don't change the lockscreen picture. This didn't work in CM9.2 neither. But this is a custom lockscreen, it is obvious that changing the picture won't work
I'll write a notice about this in the OP. Thanks for reporting.

I wanted to update it because it said it wasn't installed properly. I don't know how that happened, but it did. The solution was to flash the xposed disable package from CWM. It didn't do anything, but for some reason it started working after it.

The Xposed framework auto-installs itself at the first boot so I guess it isn't seen by the Xposed installer until the second boot.
It's easy to get quickpic working.
Just decompile app copy libs from
Libs folder to libs in system and set perms to 644 ie rw r r.
Reboot wipe cache wipe Dalvick cache.
It should work now.
