Hey guys i am looking for a good deal on 32gb microsdhc cards. I dont know if i should trust the ones on ebay because i know theres many fakes. Last time i ordered the msproduo cards and they were fake... said 8gb but were only 4gb... so i got a refund on those. Also if anyone knows some good deals on 16gb micro m2.
i recommend to buy at shop
Get a Sandisk card, those are usually authentic and offer great value and performance.
If you're looking for a card to put into your HTC Windows Phone, make sure you get a card with one of the following two model numbers:
SDSDQM-032G-B35
SDSDQM-032G-J35A (will be out for sale sometime this month)
A 32GB microSD card will cost you about 70-90 bucks including shipping. If you see an offer for a lot less, stay away from it.
Yea just bought this to put into my HD7. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=250752727418
SDSDQM-032G-J35A (will be out for sale sometime this month) <--- Thats class 4 and it will not work in HD7 right?

Sandisk told me it's for sale in Japan since January 2011 (this month) but so far I haven't seen it for sale anywhere and noone is importing it from there either. They assure me that card will definitely work, but I have not run a test on it since I can't get one.
Apparently we who preordered the nexus 7 early got bamboozled (lol) , the 8gb will be discontinued and the 16gb will take its place at $199. While the 32gb will replace the 16gb.

UGH, think their 10/29 release date is just a few days out of 30 days if they give a price adjustment from Walmart that far out. Bought the 16 back on 9/26.
Not cool Asus..... Or Google or whoever

Deal with it bros.
You bought the product because were happy with the price and gear being offered.
The Nexus 7 is a damn good deal any way you look at it. $50 extra to have this thing for 2-3 months which would have otherwise been spent dreaming of purchasing one and browsing sites for the best deals all day?
I'm happy with my purchase still. I feel bad for anyone who got an 8gb though.

Not to mention we early adopters got $25 plat store credit. So it's not that bad.

I hardly buy anything from the play store. While the credit is nice to have, I rather see a less amount on my credit card bill.
It's something I'll have to get over but I technically haven't even paid for it yet since the bill isn't due lol. So.. yeah, in that case I'm a little annoyed.

I knew that a that better / cheaper SKU would show up, didn't expect it before Christmas TBH, but I don't care I wanted to experience stock Jelly Bean asap. I've ordered a usb-otg cable and tasty 32 GB USB 3.0 pendrive, which has the benefit of being used over multiple devices.
I'm not really mad I'm just disappointed in Google's marketing. Not a lot of people buy into the nexus brand and Its really not nice to do what they are going to do but since I love this device so much I'm not going to get mad, I'm just going to right them a nice message of what I think about this on October 29th.
Now I'm thinking if I should buy the nexus 4 when they release it or wait.
I'm wondering if people sending in 8gb sets for RMA would get a 16gb back.
Will the next nexus have a longer screen?
I've had mine for about a week and love it. I have a 30 day return policy, if my store got them by Oct 29, wonder if they would let me return it?

I guess you can still call it a rumor. But the 32GB is obviously real at $250 and the 16GB isn't going away, so it'll almost certainly drop to $200. There isn't room for an 8GB model.
I think it's just common sense at this point that the 8GB model is about to get clearanced at the end of the month.

From a business stand point, they are going to sell the 8GB at 199 till it's out of stock, then push the 16gb down to 199 and throw in the 32gb at 250.

2-3 months? That's perhaps true if you're in the US, where it's been released first - not counting some later adopters who didn't get it from day 1. That's not true anymore in some other countries, where it's been out for quite less than 2 months.

Guess what? In those countries where it's been released more recently, the credit is still active... and thus I'd bet the early 32GB buyers will still get it.
So, yes, it IS bad, when there's a 32GB model scheduled for the same price as your 16GB unit, 45 days (since there are obviously numerous leaks) after it's been available in your country.

I have to agree. The people that have had there's for 31-45 days get screwed the hardest. They're just outside the return/refund window and have had so little time with there's to really enjoy it before a price drop and a higher capacity model for the same damn price is released...
I'm one of those people and I'm pretty miffed... I'll be very caution and wait 2-3 months after every new Nexus release or simply not buy from Google at all... we shall see...

Bought the 8 at launch from the Play Store to see if I would like using a tablet. Now I use it all the time. Rely on it. So. Afraid to root it in case I brick it. Want root for Stickmount. 32G means I can have a load of storage and root my 8 with no fear. Cool. Also, its easy to forget just how low cost these devices really are. I think the 32 is a response to the ongoing criticism of the non expandable storage capacity. I like that they listened.

A UK based catalouge retailer called Argos has published it's Christmas supplement with the 32GB being £199.99
Now they have stopped the Play Store credit and freebies, along with great economies of scale, maybe the 8 GB will get a price cut to undermine the cheapest Kindle Fire?

Trying to find any news on the 8 gig Nexus 7 pricing. Staples still has it listed as 199. Anyone know or have confirmation if the price has dropped?
I believe that it's been discontinued, but we should be able to find remaining stock -- heavily marked down -- in stores and online. The 8gb version does not appear on Play.Google.com or on Walmart.com. I would think that the 8gb versions, while they last, should be marked about $150.00, but...

It is/was. Staples near me still has some in stock but they are 199.99
I sold my 8GB yesterday for $175. Barely ahead of today's announcements. I paid $150 with magnetic case for it on Craig's List. Putting it aside for the Nexus 10. N7 was too small for my eyesight to read comfortably. So I guess my suggestion would be to also check out alternate sources as I did.
It originally wasn't supposed to be sold in stores because going the retail route on the 8gb would end up costing them money since the unit was sold so cheap. The 8gb started showing up when the 16gb models couldn't stay stocked, which was a last ditch effort from Google/Asus to keep the supply flowing.
So there ARE 8gb models in the wild and ARE discontinued. I would think that Staples and a select other few would have them discounted. Walmart only had 16gb when I went there last. Craigslist and other 2nd hand sites are likely to be experiencing a rush of 8gb and 16gb models because they are trading for the 32gb.
8GB should be 150$
I'm sad that the 8GB model has been discontinued.. I just bought it the first of this month back when none of this news wasn't around..
I don't wanna go through the process of selling this and getting the 16gb.

Pretty much an empty channel
Every place I checked was sold out of the 8GB units over a month ago, and it was even difficult to track down unopened 16GB models. Everyone in the distribution chain knew about the product shuffling.
The ones you are likely to find now are customer returns, and there will be few that fall within the common 14 or 30 day return window.
Have the screen separation issues been completely resolved? I have a launch 8gb that I want to get replaced. I'm not trying to get a 16gb out of this and I'm hoping if I go through the process now, they won't give me hassle, accusing me of trying to upgrade.
just actually posted my Nex 7 8gb on Craigslist yesterday. we don't use it since we have the ipad.
listing at $150 but taking $125 if i get it. Hate losing $75 so quickly, but that's tech. look on craigslist.
I doubt they'll sell it cheaper for now. Probably keep it for 199 until supplies settle down and when they only have a few, then probably sell them off on clearance.
People are still idiots with this stuff. If they advertise it for 199 people will come in and buy the 8gb probably without looking. Kinda dishonest but companies always do this crap.

I got an 8GB a while back. I don't really need much more storage than that. The music goes on the phone and I hardly keep big games on it.
As a staples employee I can tell you we have stopped selling the 8Gb model. A week before the price drop it went inactive for us.

I've tried two different SanDisk 64GB SDXC Class 10 cards in two different Bell Galaxy Note II phones. In each case, my phone status changes from "normal" to "modified" after a reboot. I can read and write from/to the card just fine but the phone won't check or pull down Android updates. When I take the card out or replace it with my old 32GB PNY card and reboot, status goes back to "normal". I waited to see if the next Android update might fix this but it didn't. By the way, one card was purchased from Amazon while the other was from Best Buy so they weren't from the same batch. Also, one of the phones that I tried this with was brand new, unused and still at the Bell Aliant store where I purchased the original phone.
Take this for what it's worth. No one else on here seems to have experienced this issue.

Brand new. I got my Note 2 the day they were released for sale here in Canada. The other phone that I tried was also brand new, still in store a month or so after I bought the one I have. I went in-store, told the sales guy the problem I was having and he took out a new one to try. Lo and behold, same problem.

will there be official Samsung accessories available tomorrow?
Yes, accessories will be available for preorder tomorrow as well.

Yes, it will be available.

fantastic! Do you by chance have the price options? Off contract and 2 year. Thank you verymuch for your help

I hope so, or soon, because I need to switch my preorder from black to gold before launch. I tweeted BB Mobile today and they didn't have a date for Sprint gold variant.
I went on the Verizon website to check if gold was available, and it is. But.... when you place the order, it shows a shipping date of May 1st.... sigh...
I might just preorder this one. First time I've ever preordered. Now I just have to decide between black and gold.

I actually posted a bunch online saying I'd use this as an excuse to jump ship if Verizon decided to screw with me one more time by not offering the gold version. I still want it, but I'm pretty peeved that it's coming in May, since that timing is so iffy I might as well wait for the Note 5. I'm still debating, though I'm leaning heavily towards buying it.
've been struggling with whether to go White or Gold. I think I decided on White, but I do wonder about the 32GB vs 64GB vs 128GB. So my mentality is this, I definitely don't want to do 32GB so it's 64GB vs 128GB.
Is 128GB better? YES, of course. But I have a 64GB card and I think with one of those nifty Meenova devices (USB OTG to micro sd adapter), I could easily add any amount of data to the phone on the go.
Anyone else have a big reason for going 128GB? Because the price is insane at that level.

It depends on how much you plan on storing into your phone. I have my entire music catalog on my SD Card so i went with the 128GB. I also have a young daughter and i use my phone as my main camera so i wanted the extra memory. If you use streaming sites for music or store your pic/vids on a cloud based service you really do not need anything more than a 64GB. Just my opinion.

Those are valid points. I backup to the cloud but have about 10GB of pictures and video on my phone. I do stream my music mostly. So I think really I should be good. If I want to have movies or other things I could prob do the 64gb card via the dash micro adapter. But then Verizon gives $100 off so I feel like I could get 128GB for 64gb price. Lol
