That's what I did after turning off data while it was downloading the file to stop it and restarted my phone and it hasn't tried to download it again. But I've never dealt with this before so hopefully someone more experienced can chime in that would be great. Usually it ask for permission but mine just started doing it on its own.

If your super user updated in the market then you will need to update the su binary.

download the su update fixer app from the market. Worked great for me!

Everything still works don't need a fix was just wondering why I needed to update binary when I didn't update su but I did update just didn't know it.

This occurred after SuperUser app was automatically updated to newest version with the green icon. After running update it said something like access was r/o. But then powered down, restarted and attempted update again and said newest binaries were already installed. Ran WiFi Tether and went through all the permissions and was back to normal.

Clockwork mod reboot

Hi all. I got a Revolution and every time I reboot it. It goes straight to clockworkmod and my stock rom wasnt backed up. I just want the phone to work again. Rooted are not. Everytime I try to flash a rom it says. "Installation aborted"
(Bad)
Any help. Super nervous that my phone is screwed until someone has an idea on what's wrong?
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
I'd first try to download a different rom, maybe an older version of one.. or even try to redownload the version you have.. possibly just a bad file, I have seen that happen

Are you downloading these ROMs on your PC or your phone? Also, what ROM are you downloading?
Did you do wipe data/ factory reset in the "settings menu" on the phone? If you did then that's your cause. Look around in the dev section here and find the "stuck in clockwork" thread.

Download the Revo One Click root package again and see if you can run it from your computer while in recovery. Not sure it will work but if all else fails you can run LGNPST on your computer from recovery.

I'd (if) memory serves me right, cubed did a thread about being stuck in cwm. It should be in the development section. Just know I am not a pro, and if your phone is jacked up there is always a way out, that is the beauty of our phone it's fool proof.

Safest Way To Root

IF using MI9, use RDLV on it, and quickly, before it gets the OTA update (I'd disconnect it from networks entirely until it was rooted. Don't use RDLV if it's gotten the update!)
If it's not on MI9 anymore, your only options are kingo/vroot. Both of those are not allowed to be linked to on XDA because of suspicions about them being malicious (though many people have used them and reported no issues)
Downloaded rdlv last night left my phone charging woke up to my wife playing on it. She took the update cuz the phone asked her if she wanted to update. :banghead: anyway to downgrade don't really wanna use the other 2 options

Sprint LS995 G Flex Hot Spot Hack "NOW WITH WORKING 3G TETHER"

This is how to enable free hotspot on the sprint variant of the G flex. Keep in mind this could brick your device. I do not even recommend doing it until we have a custom recovery available. However with that said I have provided the .tot and .dll files for all to use with the lg flash tool. So if you do have any problems hopefully you all can use the LG flash tool to return to stock. I have tested this and it does work.
steps to get free Factory Native Hot Spot:
1. Download this https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6HYWZRx8JLsSTRzUm1kZVM4QW8&usp=sharing
2. Extract the file you just downloaded
3. If you didn't download it from your phone, then place the two files on your internal storage of your phone
4. Install a file explorer like Root Explorer that allows you to access the root of your system and allows you to edit factory framework files and apks.
5. Open the Root Explorer or whatever File explorer you are using and navigate to the internal storage and copy the Services.jar and Services.odex that you extracted from the zip above.
6. Navigate to Root and go to /System, then Choose the Framework folder. Make sure the system is mounted R/W
7. Now hit paste.Hit overwrite existing files. Once the two files are pasted, change the permissions so that they match the other framework file permissions.
8. Reboot your device.
9. If your device boots back up fine you are set to go.
Note: This mod only works if the phone has LTE or Ehrpd service. It is also known that sometimes you have to reboot the device to get tether to work properly again if Data stops being transmitted.
Once again, I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone. This can very easily brick your device if not done correctly. This is a chance you the user are taking.
As soon as we have a custom recovery, I will make this into a flashable zip for all to use.
Thank you to MetalBoy94 for figuring this out on the LG G2.
I have now fixed all the problems with the tether. It now works on 3g. The new link is in the steps now.
Can confirm, tether working. Thanks for doing this
Glad to see you over here viperboy.

Sprint is rolling out a minor over-the-air firmware update to its version of the LG G Flex. LG G Flex owners on the “Now Network” should find the LS995ZV9 update to hit their devices now. Here’s what to look forward to when the update finally drops.
This software update includes:
New PRL (51103)
update Google Security Patch
Google Market Store update 4.4.2
R5Radio Player improvement
Wi-Fi Calling improvement
Wi-Fi is required to download the update. You can wait for the notification to arrive on its own, or you can try your luck requesting it down manually. More specific instructions are available at Sprint’s support page.

Yep. Hopefully development on this phone isn't completely dead....especially with the LS996 coming out very shortly.
I really could use the PRL update along with the wifi calling update which I use frequently since the AirRave they sent isn't compatible with this phone (that's what sprint told me).

Ohkay so im completly new at this but I used stump roots brute force method on my LG-LS995, and it worked twice. Little did i know I had been upgraded to lolipop, so when I tried a wifi hot spot hack (messing up the actual process the first time) I ended up in boot loop. Im currently working on fixing my phone. I was dumb but I'm learning. Anyway, you can brute force v9 with stump root.
