Before the Kit Kat update I used Light Manager to speed up the SMS/MMS notification LED blink rate. It no longer works after Kit Kat upgrade. I've also tried LightFlow with no luck.
Does anyone know if there is some way to modify the messenger.apk or any other way to change the LED blink rate?
Thanks,
-Joe

Yes it does. Very small though.
it's very tiny:
but can change to many different colours, tested it out using light flow app.
Is there a way to activate the notification led? Mine only glows when charging.. No light for missed calls nor sms..
Light flow won't work neither.
Maybe there's a setting I missed?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
is there a way to disable the notification led when the phone is charging?
I have tried Light Flow and Light Manager, but no luck.
thanks for your help
Hello,
I'm new to Huawei and one thing I noticed about my P10 is the very faint notification light. From a little distance it is very hard to notice.
I've tried installing Lights Manager, but changing the brightness there doesn't seem to do anything.
Does anyone have a way of increasing the brightness of the notification light on the P10?
Thx
I just got the phone and Yes my notification LED is SO DIM AND USELESS. I tried to use light manager and seems like the brightness is already the highest. Will pop by the shop in the weekend to see if it's my set problem or all sets are like that.

Mine is faint too. Or at least I find it that way coming from Sony Xperia phones where the notification LED was very bright and you can see it even on sunlight... Sony also used different colors for different notifications - here is green only unfortunately... Hope Huawei fix this in some future updates....

Hi all,
actually it has colors too. On Whatsapp, if you choose white or blue the notification light will change to that color. Problem is that there is no way to configure light colors for the rest of notifications, unless you install some notification light management app which I had once in a previous phone.
About the intensity, yes, it's a bit faint. But, personally I prefer it against Samsungs that I owned previously in which notification lights were so bright that at nights it illuminated my room when sleeping (and if it blinked, even worse!).

useless tiny notification on LED. This is factory dumb design.
I actually like the brightness. Coming from a N5 where the LED was brightening up the whole room when someone sent you a message at night, the p10s subtle notification is much better.
Hi,
I used to use LightFlow in the past and had some logic in LED colors. Messaging green, emails blue, missed calls red, tapatalk orange etc.
Without the LightFlow you never know what LED wants you to say.
Any tips what are default Note 9 led colors?
Or maybe you turn it off because AOD shows all the notifications anyway?

I keep it on but disabled at night
