If you're being serious lol... go into settings then scroll down to Display...in Display go to "Increase touch sensitivity". Now you can edit picture with a pencil, or write a note down in SNote with a pencil. Pretty cool stuff.

Sharing a direct screen recording option for nexus 7

So i found a way to record the screen without pointing a camera at it if you are interested in that. I made a video on youtube. I think my title sucks or no one on youtube cares but here's the video. Because I can't post links yet i have to give you a title to my video to search for.
Record your nexus 7 display(No camera)
For some reason it's important to me for others to know this. I guess that's why i made a tutorial. Lol.
Thanks. I hope this helps. =)
Edit: I just remembered it's the new year. I'm probably the only loser sitting home playing with tablets. Lol. =)

Yep. When I first saw this thread I thought it referred to getting a screen capture or screen shot. What you are actually referring to is completely different from that.

I've had my n7 about 5 days and the other night I was very very drunk, flashed smoothrom, too drunk to remember to clear cache and dalvik, got a boot animation freeze, went back, remembered to clear caches, and got it all working. That was after drinking a whole bottle of vodka myself. Bad idea doing things like that at times like that

Lmao. Yeah I was thinking they were gonna think I was referring to pointing a camera at the screen for some odd reason but sometimes I think too hard. Not sure why. I think I was also trying to keep the title short.
So while the mirroring potential is awesome, I have to ask, what's the advantage of this over just screen recording directly on the N7?

Are you talking about using screencast to record the Nexus 7. Because screencast doesn't work on the N7.

Don't have lockscreens. On my Galaxy nexus I swipe to wake (using pgm) so a lock would mean I have to swipe again, and on my nexus 7 I use a smart case that turns my screen on when I open it so a lock would defeat the usefulness.

Its magnetic. Apparently there's a magnetic sensor in the 7 which a magnet in the case utilizes to trigger screen off/on.
Or did you mean yours doesn't function as intended? If that's what you meant it would probably be the case, I've read some brands don't work as reliably as others.

Um, I don't know who you or even what device you use. Even if I did meet you, I only know you by you're username. So, unless you are wearing a T-shirt with your avater and user name and happen to run into you, I wouldn't know the pattern you posted pertains to you. Chances of ever running into you are miniscule. So, its harmless to post it.

Switch to Mac OS 9. End of all problems.
Go to build.prop and edit your phone identity to iPhone 5. That should make the camera work, although you might want to keep the gray camera anyway to avoid purple lens flare.
Here's a real answer...
Get Vignette app from the play store. Great camera app with some nice editing all in one. I don't even use the stock camera app anymore.

Here's what you should do:
1. Make a pointless thread about malfunctioning camera in Off-Topic(!).
2. Get trolled.
3. Cry for getting trolled.
4. Throw your device out of frustration because not only the camera doesn't work, you've gotten trolled trying to fix it as well.
5. Your device breaks. Cry because it broke.
6. Learn that you shouldn't start useless threads.
7. Search for the problem.
8. Possibly find a solution for the problem.
9. ???
10. Profit.

Some of us do have lives, I mean we can't be glued to the interwebs, haha but I wish that I could be!! Lol. But in all seriousness, stop banging your head, I think you've lost enough brain cells, BAZINGA!! Now back onto the topic at hand, why did it take so long so get this feature? Nice, I just found this out accidentally, lol. I've had two Windows Phones w/dedicated hardware button for the camera - a feature that's difficult to adjust away from, so this is a welcome change in 4.3.

Introducing myself to the forums here~

Sup guys. I work in the flashing industry, and I do so on a hobby basis. I just got the Galaxy note 3 ATT N900A with the latest root. How is it working for anyone else? Any bugs or complaints?
Been flashing phones for the last 7-8 years. Last phone was the s3 to s4 and now to Note 3. God it's too beautiful~
didn't realize there was a flashing "industry"..

Most definitely! Same it is running fantastic. Just wondering - Did you all have to get use to the screen sensitivity? I didn't notice.. but my fat hand when I try to one hand do things with this device. If even a LITTLE skin is barely on the side of the glass. It will not respond to your touches period. I almost went into a tantrum thinking my device was bad.. till I was like OOOOO THATS WHY!! lol!!!
Had a fat dip in, and was a bit.. inebriated. I highly reccomend people DO NOT flash phones under the influence. Haha!
