Hi,
Somebody can know me, somebody may not.
I'm doing firmware list for LG phones. You can see my good list in g2 section.
Since lg changed something we don't have an access for new phones since lg flex.
I think that everybody want to know when g flex will get new fresh updates but nobody will do kdz list so you must wait when invidual users will tell you.
I have a deal for this situation.
$Update
Ok so we are now in stage 2.

Now I'm creating full suffix list for every model. Then I will post it here and we will go to stage 3.
In stage 3 I will ask you guyz for your phones IMEI or MSN numbers. You can send it even now.
DON'T POST YOUR IMEI HERE
send it to me by private message or my email [[email protected]]
I will never use your IMEI for anything, I will calculate first model with specific suffix by your IMEI number.
I'm trusted user, I'm helping with sharing kdz files since 2009 but you decide what you are doing.
I'm working now in G2 Mini, G Pro 2 and G Flex in same time so I will have a lot things to do.
T-Mobile's variant is LG-D959

I know its supposed to be at the ICS discussion thread but something tells me this is weird.
http://www.lgmobile.co.kr/lgmobile/front/download/retrieveDownloadMain.dev#manual
From there, you kan see LG U+, SKT & KT for each phone's ICS Update Status.
But, what does that mean?? It seems that Optimus Black is the only one with KT.

And KT stands for what?
I believe it's a carrier name like operator cellular provider.
LG U+ : LG Uplus Corp.
SKT : SK Telecom Co., Ltd.
KT : KT Corporation (formerly Korea Telecom.)
Tooltips text when you hover to its combobox (after entering page with KT, SKT, or LG U+ link) indicates that.

Hi everyone.
I have an LG P880 (LG 4X HD) that I bought in Peru, it came with Android 4.0.3 I (V10b). I want to upgrade to JB to unlock the bootloader but in the list of official updates my country is not listed.
Someone told me that it can be an issue with the frequencies, Peru uses 850Mhz/1900Mhz bands like American countries but many other countries (including those of the official update list) use 900Mhz/1800Mhz.
My question is: There would be any problem if I upgrade using the file from another country?
My phone is rooted
Thanks to all comments.
PS: Sorry for my English.
I am living in bangladesh (A country beside India). So what lg g flex i should buy? D959 or D958, or D955 or K340? I know K 340 is korian version and D958 is for Hongkong and Asia. But is K340 better than all other version?
Dear all,
as far as I see on GSM Arena, the LG Flex has been shipped in several edition according to the Country:
- LG G Flex D955 for Europe
- LG G Flex D958 for Hong Kong & Asia
- LG G Flex D959 for T-Mobile USA
- LG G Flex D950 for AT&T
- LG G Flex LS995 for Sprint
- LG G Flex F340 for Korea
Does it is possible to have a clear picture for all the reader about (if so) the differences? We could use that thread as reference, to report our comments as well to have track of the version we bought.
Regards,
I think we figured all this out already. Does twrp work on kitkat? And when are we getting the ANDROID L update?
Hi,
I have a problem, this version of the LG V40 ThinQ - 405UA (AT&T, Sprint USA), doesn't work with the 3G band 900, and this is a problem for the network I use, what can I do? Anyone? Is there a way to open up this band? I check, and the other versions (V405EBW (Global) - V405QA7 (USA Unlocked) - V405TAB (T-Mobile USA) - V405UA0 (US Cellular USA) - V405UAB (Verizon USA)) does work with this band, this is the only version that doesn't

I would recommend flashing the USA unlocked version with LG up. But remember, some OEM stock not available, so if you flash over it and you didn't save it, then you can't go back to it.
