GPU frequency scaling isn't even working in latest beanstalk nexus blobs version.Same goes for other unofficial based, lately released ROMs.So I'd recommend you to stay on the official until a new version with fixes is released.

It's a problem within the ROM itself.Make a fresh installation of CM11 official and your problems will be solved. (wipe system, data and cache, then flash CM11 zip)

Have you tried a wipe?
Have you tried it with another Rom?
Is it only Broodrom?
Go into recovery (cwm or feamod which ever u use) wipe the data and the dalvik then reboot into the andriod os and see if that removes the random reboot issue but if this doesnt help then u need to flash with an another custom ROM. and see if the problem remains

The data partition holds all your apps. So you have to restore them after you wiped it.

You could have tried running it at 1.4Ghz, probably worked out for you, in RC5 the default OC will be 1.4GHz, you will have allot more control trough scripts in RC5

Hi friends... i'm having this problem since RC stage until the lastest Nightlies including the Stable version:
I'm using CM7 stable now and i got randomly freezes when i try to wake up the phone... anyone have this problem too?...
NOTE: i try changing governors using stock cm7 kernel, and I also change it by huexxx kernel, but still having freezes... i also make a full wipe and reinstall cm7 stable but nothing... any suggestions?
List what apps u have installed. Maybe it app-related.
Also i remember that p500 had random freezes with crt animation on so turn off all animations.
In the CM discussion thread, it was mention that LG provide a faulty driver for 2.3.
For a workaround, use a old kernel which have the old drivers: use the huexxx 4.0/Novav11c with the MOD
Don't use huexxx 4.1 kernel

I had this problem with all roms I tried... so frustrating when it freeze during night and your clock alarm is on your cellphone.
I tried a full wipe and fresh install with all roms but no success.
The only one who seem to work better is the CM9 nightly 6 ! there is some issues like the phone app crashing ( I'm using a dialer app on the market and it work very well !) The camera is buggy but I dont really need it. The battery ran out faster than others.

Even with ZEUS rom ? i'm using it since first release, and never experienced any SOD
Use CM7 with Huexxx kernel 4.0 with mod. I never had an SOD in 2 months
Listen to this guy!!!
I'm on Cici ROM final.. originally, the CPU min freq set to 200mhz.. I'm having SODs with that.. but after set it to 300, no more SOD.. I think, freeze or SOD on wake up is happening when the CPU is too weak so cannot wake the phone..
I'm running elitemovil 14.1v6 ROM with Semaphore 2.6.1 kernel and would like to get smooth 720p recording.
Stock camera is loosing frames, and I have not found a decent video app which could record 720p in 16:9 mode.
Everything else works very fine, smooth.
There seems to be a 720p patch, but it's quite old and my kernel is a fresh one so I wonder whether it's applicable.

I only used it with S, it was to get 720 working. Never wiped anything but you can do it if u feel better doing it. Doesnt harm anything. Plus you can always make a nandroid backup and restore in the state you left it, if it doesnt work for you
U could flash 2.6.2s as it was the latest version of the unsupported sema kernels

So, i have allready gotten an answer about the RiL thing on this device, that's okay now.
But does anybody know if there is any working fixes for the lock-screen / awake screen bug? its really annoying when i want to use my phone and i have to remove battery and restart phone to get it out of blackscreen/lockscreen.
is this really a troubled device?

Make sure you wipe everything before you switch ROM
Data/factory reset
cache
dalvik
format/system
And if you use kernels provided with the ROM's you may want to try different kernel.
If nothing helpls try to flash back to stock and see if it happans and there.

Since apparently doesn't need updates, look how works well 20131117 build
In 2014 I developed a new build backporting a lot of things from our CM11 tree, like new kernel, cpu/gpu overclock, novathor settings with everything working (except storage swap, but in 4.2 can be done easy by modifying vold.fstab in system/etc), fixed wifi toggle bug... The only thing bad is that it's unstable since gets some random reboots, slowdowns, force closes... Was just a test to start to backport and get these things work better without that problems, when I'll get that other janice my intention is to continue and release a last build with new goodies and without problems
