Just adb sideloaded Viper One 6.1. All seems to work fine except Wifi. Connects to Network quickly, but no data transfer?
Cleared all memory options I could find in TWRP Wipe, then formatted. I flashed back to stock RRU (Bad Boyz), fastbooted the unlock token, fastboot TWRP 2.7,
then made sure to only do a factory reset with TWRP. adb sideloaded Viper and this is the only issue.
Bootloader Unlocked, S-on
Superuser is part of Viper
Hboot 1.56
Radio 1.00.20.1108
Open DSP 32.120.274.0909
Are the Wifi fixes for older versions of Viper applicable here?

Ok. I search the forum and regarding the NO OS installed problem mostly on Android 4.3/4.1/4.2. But mine is Android 4.4 kitkat. This happens when I Wipe Data using TWRP 2.6.3.3. after that it said no OS installed. I tried adb push ROM.zip/data/media/0/ and adb sideload ROM.zip. Both are not working. I getting ''cannot read sideload'' error. My device is still S-On. besides using the S-Off method, is there any other way to push the zip file to my internal storage? I can access to recovery but cant push the zip to the storage for flashing and im kinda confused about the S-Off and RUU thingy. Help me please. Im on Android 4.4 and HBoot 1.56 before everything happens. Running ARHD 51.0 Kitkat Rom + Elemental X kernel. Now everything's gone.

adb devices does show HXXXXX on the CMD window. But not working.
Solved here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51693017&postcount=14
I have this setup so far:
S-OFF Hboot 1.56 through Firewater.
Firmware 4.06.651.4
Unlocked bootloader, TWRP 2.7 and older versions I tried, as well as PhilzTouch (this one works better)
I can only recover from the brick by installing a rooted odex STOCK 4.06.651.4 ROM through PhilzTouch which let's me OTG, ADB sideload, and fastboot (TWRP only lets me adb sideload, but can't mount OTG or /data sometimes)
I think I need to install the stock ROM with a stock recovery in order to do it properly. Haven't tried yet, scared to mess up more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, I started off clean, unlocked bootlader, rooted , and flashed custom recovery with TWRP (root sometimes lost, have to flash SuperSU.zip manually sometimes).
Then I got S-OFF through Firewater.
Checked, and double checked MD5 matches, a good quality USB cable 2.0, different formatted clean PC and laptop to rule any of that out..
With a clean/nice ADB/fastboot connection, I proceeded to install ViperOne 5.8.0 | 4.19.401.11 | Android 4.4.2 Sense 5.5 through TWRP as per instructed in its official post (it redirects here from the HTC One Sprint thread)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2334294
It installs fine until the last Finish option to reboot into the first ROM boot up, and it never gets inside, it just bootloops the bootloader forever.
--------------------------------
Possible thought I still don't understand:
In the Viper ROM there seems to be a firmware version in the tittle: 4.19.401.11...
Does that version have anything to do with mine? Currently 4.06.651.4, with an annoying update prommpt to 4.06.651.9 that downloads, bu never installs (possibly need stock recovery for that)
Is Any ROM firmware specific in order to install? I read that the latest TWRP had issues so I tried many older version to no avail...
Do I need to go back to an earlier firmware, and then update to the latest with the radio as well?
What am I doing wrong?
I would suggest running the 4.06.651.4 RUU and starting fresh. I know it sucks but...
From there you can take the OTA if you want to...then you will be current.
Then you can unlock and flash recovery again.
Follow these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658910
Sent from my Sprint HTC ONEĀ®
Long story short, I was not able to flash any third party ROM since I got my htc One (M7)
HBoot 1.57
S-Off (through SunShine, paid USD$25)
Recovery: TWRP 2.8.0.2, CWM 6.0.4.8
Tried ROM: ARHD 81.0, IncertCoin 4.0.4, ViperOne 7.0.1
No matter which recovery, which 3rd party ROM, always end up with set metadata recursive: some changes failed in TWRP, and error in CWM.
I always factory reset before flash, and I have used ARHD / InsertCoin since Desire / One X. Used other ROMs on Sony Z1.
One (M7) is the only one gave me troubles!
From what I have Googled, using latest recovery should be okay.
However I am using latest TWRP and CWM, still same error.
Now I just have stock ROM, rooted through TWRP, delete lots of stuff from system/app.
Really want ARHD, ODEXed, all nice things from 3rd party ROM.
Please help!

Try TWRP 2.6.3.3, it seems to work best with close to stock roms. I would choose wipe in Aroma during the installation rather than factory reset.
Get TWRP 2.6.3.3: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
(make sure MD5 is correct, that site does not play nice with download managers)
in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
TWRP 2.6.3.3 does work!
This is very interesting! TWRP 2.6.3.3 is almost 10 months old comparing with 2.8.0.2.
How come older version works, but latest does not?
TWRP 2.7.1.1 works for me too, so far the only major release which does not work is TWRP 2.8.0.2
I was updating my m7spr to the latest cm12 nightly, which i've been doing about once a week, and all of a sudden I cannot update apps from the play store or install any apks from my storage. I go to factory reset or uninstall some apps to make some room, and the apps won't uninstall and my recovery, TWRP, is gone. It flashes the TWRP logo and then restarts. I am currently at the bootloader screen unlocked s-on and have been trying to fastboot flash everything i can think of from a cm12 rom zip, a stock sense zip, a twrp recovery zip and img. nothing is working. I have tried to relock my bootloader and run a RUU, from the latest RUU_M7_WL_L50_SENSE60_SPCS_MR_Sprint_WWE_6.23.651.6_Radio_1.01.20.1225_CNV_CNV_SPCS_4.38_003_release_425282_signed_2 to an earlier version Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.10_RUU and that didn't work either. sat at the htc/ruu screen for a half hour with no result.
I am at a loss as to what to do next and what will work to get my damn phone back to working order.
My h-boot is 1.56.0000 and again i am S-ON
Thanks in advance for your assistance
! I have a HTC One M7 which I managed to Unlock bootloader, successfully after several attempts & then flash with a custom ROM along with GAPPS. I discovered that I couldn't use certain apps as they were unresponsive so I decided to revert back to stock ... the wrong way perhaps (excuse my goofiness ). I relocked the bootloader, then foolishly deleted/wiped the system & twrp backups (I actually backed up the initial ROM before flashing with custo ROM but didn't check mark the Boot option). So now my phone has no TWRP, no ROM, has just default recovery system, I don't have a OTG cable & SDcard, just my phone, USB cable & laptop. I just got the M7 cos of a few specs it has a week ago. What do I do to go back to stock? I still intend to flash to a lollipop ROM or ViperROM cos the last one I use was Ressurection Remix ROM along with GAPPS. Feedback is appreciated.
Flash a RUU. It definitely should work.
Flashed RUU
I just tried to flash an RUU but seems like I'm stuck in a bootloop. But its an improvement. Not sure if this ROM is compatible TBH.
I'm gona wipe and try again with a stock ROM and see if that works.
