First off I am in no way involved in development or releasing any of these items, only finding it, testing on our devices and posting it for everyone else.
There's a thread in Android Development for Sense 6 apps from the One M8, link here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2696399 I recommend subscribing to it as I have so that when everything works you will know about it. For now, BlinkFeed works just fine and requires a 4.4.x ROM but that's about it. I love the way this launcher feels, its smooth and responsive and for some reason just feels right on the Vivid. Here's a couple of screenshots:

I am using WildfireDev's AOKP 4.4.2 ROM, Fancy Widgets with the H7C skin of your choosing, and either Holo Sense 6 or Sense 5.5 for theming. I also installed the BlinkFeed v10 package, then extracted Prismblack.apk from the v9 color mods, pushed to system/priv-app and renamed to Prism.apk. Choose any color you desire and follow the same steps until later versions are released in different colors.
To get weather working- Install HTC Weather like any normal app, then go to System Settings>Accounts and Add Account, then select HTC Weather. After that, set the first page of the launcher (aka BlinkFeed) as the default home page.
If this helps you change your experience with your phone (or even improve it) feel free to hit the thanks button
Good Post....:good:
If anyone has issue with weather, make sure High Accuracy is set in Location settings.
Update! New thread with new features for BlinkFeed, and it works better. You can now select your theme from Personalize in the settings menu and add custom RSS feeds, as well as add more apps and services than before. Here's a link to the new one- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735764
I had some text issues with the 5x4 grid download, I suggest the 4x4 grid for our Vivids.

I have been able to get the 4x5 grid to display more properly using xposed modules and App Settings to change the dpi of the BlinkFeed app. Here's setting that display best for me, though widgets aren't 100% centered-

I just got my G tab and have installed vegan. I am liking it a lot, but I cannot find widgets that look good on the homescreen. I am using launcher pro and want to know what you guys are using to make the homescreens look awesome.
THANKS!
MixZing has a nice 4x4 music widget. Also, another user here recommended Jorte as a replacement for the stock calendar--it works very well and I'm now using that. Finally, I also loaded up Android Photo Widget (Free); it displays and cycles through my photos--the free version limits you to 10 photos; paid version more. Nice widget.
Oh, I'm also using Typoclock which can be found here on XDA, along with a companion widget called TxWthr which is very basic; I link that widget to the WeatherBug app, which is awesome.
thanks for the reply. just got the typo clock.
anyone else have suggestions?
Where did you snag the photo widget? I have been looking for one that will allow me to select a specific gallery.
Another trick to make it look much nicer is to install ADW Launcher then go into the ADW settings and set it to the Max number of columns and rows.
This can also be accomplished with LauncherPro, so it is whichever launcher that you prefer.

I like the launcher pro plus friends widget that combines Facebook and twitter. The calendar widget in lp+ is cool too.
Audio Manager Pro has a good widget for quickly switching sound profiles that you create. Widgetsoid (free) can be used to roll your own toggle bar for pretty much anything on the device.
I am still working on my pages, but here is what seems to work best for me at this time. I also have the post-it notes widget, not yet on my screens. I try to keep my screens separated by media, utility, and gaming, once I load more games for the kids, they will get their own screen.

Yeah that Button Savior looks awesome! Stock TNT works okay with ADW launcher replacing the home screens. I'm just using that setup until Cyanogen is a little more stable for the tab.

A bunch of minimalists widgets.
Recently the "Metro UI" Launcher in the market has vastly improved save the fact of disappointing amounts of icons, and real proportion in relation to the actual Metro UI.
I've compiled the best white on blue icons for my use, along with full color tiles (WP7 isn't ALL blue tiles with white icons) using the "use image as background" option in the Metro UI selection interface.
To make use of these icons:
Step 1) Extract folder to Internal/External SD card on Android handset
Step 2) When Adding corresponding tile check "Image as background"
Step 3) For "Select Icon" choose "custom" then click select Icon
Step 4) Use file manager of choice to go to directory where icons where extracted
Step 5) Choose and enjoy!

Now I present my current Interface

Attached are the mentioned icons
Enjoy!
The tiles for Phone, texts, and gmail are set as icon and not image
they look nice, testing them out now. would it not be easier to make them transparent pngs so the user can still use their own colour? or doesn't metro ui liek png's?
I would, save the fact that metro ui automatically resizes icons to a smaller size not proportional, and big like the actual WP7 Metro UI
this thread is very similar in nature with this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913747
With different icons though
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Would you guys like the transparent icons?
Launcher 7 works very well also

I think Metro UI is smoother (like slide for app drawer, the app listing looks better) and it's just more "professional"
hey guys wanted to say this looks really good. im using metro ui pro and i was wondering if someone could make a dungeon wonders icon for a 1x1 tile with whole image as the background.
thanks in advance.
Hey I'm looking for the HTC sense weather widget blue grid background(s) but I just can't seem to find them, I've downloaded two different sense ROMs that have them but can only find the icons.

I have a feeling they could be located in a .m10 file called: Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10
Does anyone know where I can locate it, or if I can open up .m10 files and get the image I can only get the text of them so far, looking around for different tutorials.
---
found a tutorial, but still having trouble.
For you
Day
Morning
Night
BTW you can use the Wallpaper Changer from the Google Play to change morning, day and night wallpapers according to the set times.
Does someone know the changing times of the lock screen wallpapers?
And just for the record: in the above post the day wallpaper is morning and vice versa.
Thanks for your help. For future reference in case someone is searching for the same question, the reason why it didn't work is because the M10 Editor that I was using can't decompile Sense 4.0 at this time - so I used Sense 3.0 files.

I've been using Tasker to change the wallpaper at different time (can't do lockscreen wallpaper AFAIK), I only set up two wallpapers though but I made the wallpapers the right dimensions for my phone - HD2 obviously and I'm NexusHD2 with the DPI set to 192 (not sure if it makes a difference to wallpapers (don't think so).
So you just need to disable wallpaper scrolling.
This pack has the three wallpapers 960x800 4.39 MB
Thanks gonne try this with tasker for the nice effect what you got on your hd2
Peace friends! ! !

I've been very busy with my android desktop and was a big rush to get my supplies LauncherAdvanced, unique thread of my development HERE
I would like to clarify that I have compiled this launcher for a long time, then the android trendy JB was 4.2, I had to make some optimizations so that it can get better at 4.4 and 5.1 (maybe in the future 6.0).
The purpose of the launcher is the same as I always have in mind, do not like and have never liked large packages and applications do not like too much RAM consumption, thinking that I developed this launcher, it is a typical size coming from ADW sources @AnderWeb (Thanks).
Their characteristics are very clear, see below:
Desktop settings
Set icons and wallpaper
Set style dock bar
You can set colors and transparencies in the apps grid
you can create folders and name them
Speed to open the apps grid
Animations, themes etc ..
You can also back up and restore it if you want to save your settings
Known bugs:
At the moment he does not have a transparent status bar (I will fix this)
By using wallpaper is a blur in the dock bar (only the launcher wallpapers, you can use other without problems)
Some other?
It is fully in the development of state and I will appreciate if you understand java and can help me with corrections, so I'll leave my sources available on GitHub
DOWNLOAD HERE
To install:
Download the latest launcher
Pass to your SD
Install usually how to install an apk SD
enjoy
Hi dev I'm using this launcher from past 3 days, really I'm loving it.
I got every thing which I want like ,
It's light weight.
Smooth
I can set it to full screen by hiding status bar.
Specially the short cut icon sick at the bottom ( I really loved the concept).
But after using it I felt like I'm using kitkat launcher in my One plus one (5.1 lollipop).
And their is no smooth scrolling.
Their is a problem with animation.
I'm not getting the widgets properly like my cm weather widget unable to display weather only time and date .
Each icon using more space then the actual size.
I'm unable to increase the size of icons .
Old type widget and shortcut section menu etc .
But I'm still using it coz I'm loving it.
Hope you ll update it soon with latest standards.
Thank you dev
Hello,
Im a new Z3c owner.
As far as I understood, I should keep the offical xperia rom (updated to android 6) if I want to keep the full potential of this phone.
Especialy regarding Camera quality, right ?
So, what would you recommand in order to get a Xiomi / Miui / iOS like theme ?
In order to :
- remove the app folder button
- have better app icons than xperia ones..
Thanks for you help
Hopefully this may help you. I use nova launcher for the exact same look you want to achieve. And the most consistent icon pack that works for me is pop ui. Once you select the icon pack in nova launcher, the icons will replace the old ones, however you can then change whichever icons that don't suit your look with other alternatives in the pack. Both are paid apps but serve their purpose really well. You can get the free version of nova launcher but you will sacrifice certain things like changing icon size and icon notification badges. You will need the teslaunread app as well to get the badge notifications. If you want an exact clone of ios you can download png icon packs from deviant art and replicate the status bar with an xposed module called Flat Style Bar Indicators. But all that will probably turn you into an obsessive ios freak lol, plus it requires too much time and effort. I love the freedom of android but I love the look of ios, so I manage to get the best of both on my z3 compact.

*edit* as far as the app drawer goes, you have 3 options... 1) You could just remove it and forget about all the apps you don't use. 2) you could just change the app drawer icon to a folder icon and just think of it as a folder which houses all of your unnecessary apps. 3) nova launcher 5 Beta allows you to access the app drawer by swiping up from the dock.
Hope this helps.
