[Q] stuck in TWRP recovery with empty phone - LG Optimus 4X HD

hi i was trying to root a new o4x, and after everything went right. i unlocked my bootloader by going into bootloader mode and putting "fastboot oem unlock" command, and then chose "unlock it" it said my bootloader is unlocked.
after that i installed cwm touch latest .4.5 ver recovery, and booted in v20a rom, copied vanir rom into my internal sdcard and booted into cwm recovery and tried to flash vanir 4.4.2 rom into it,
after flashing vanir rom, it booted perfectly, but when i connected it to pc, it didn't show my files on internal sdcard which i coppied on it in v20a, i mean there was no vanir rom zip into my internal sdcard, but when i go into recovery and see in "install zip" n go to internal sdcard, it shows vanir rom zip in my internal sdcard.
i thought it's a problem of recovery, so i installed TWRP recovery, i wiped everything including system, and then tried to flash vanir again, and now it's not flashing vanir or any other roms, it says zip successfully installed in recovery, but no rom boot up,
whichever thing i change in TWRP it reset it after rebooting into recovery,
i think TWRP is not able to write anything into system or other drives,
now i'm stuck, i don't know what to do here, i can't flash anything, and my phone is already empty
please help me,

Flash back to Jelly bean just to ensure that all is okay with your phone and start the process of CWM and installing custom rom again.
There is some tut in General section going back to stock via offical LG Flash tool.
Good Luck.

Stuck at boot logo, heres what i did, help?

Unlocked bootloader with fastboot oem unlock
Rooted phone with fastboot by pushing a boot img to it(bexboot.v2.GRK39F_OTA)
Downloaded ics.zip(the partition scheme for ics based roms)
downloaded aokp passion ics rom
downlaoded gapps
Flashed all of them in cwm
But when i boot, it just stays at the aokp unicorn screen.
So far ive gotten back to point A again.
1.) put passimg.zip on sdcard, rebooted with power+down, it restored to stock 2.3.6
2.) Used bexboot boot.img to give me root - http://code.google.com/p/bexboot/
3.) installed rom manager, flashed cwm recovery
4.) Installed Blockrose, via blackrose.exe
5.) booted into cwm, installed ics.zip(which should partition the hboot/blackrose), installed the aokp zip, and the gapps, rebooted.
Stuck on unicorn logo screen again....
I think i need some help now...one thing i noticed, theres no more LOCK icon
1.did you wipe all partitions except sd before and after installing the hboot zip?
2.are you sure that your hnoot partition was changed after applying ics.zip?

(SOLVED) Xperia Z internal storage FULLY WIPED (everything)

So this is what happened:
I wanted to flash a custom rom on my xperia Z.
I did what i have to do like unlocking the bootloader, rooting and installing a custom recovery.
I already downloaded my desired custom rom. When I entered into custom recovery I wiped everything as in everything under the Wipe menu of TWRP. After that I went to reboot to recovery. Unfortunately the phone did not reboot anymore. Just stucked at the sony logo. Now it cannot go to fastboot, flashmode or custom recovery. My computer cannot detect the phone as well.
Is there any way that I can still flash rom into my phone with the above situation?
Any help is much appreciated. Tia!

Are u sure you've installed the correct drivers (fastboot, flashmode, adb)? If so, fastboot any custom kernel (with recovery) and you'll have recovery.
You wiped system, but I assume you had xzdualrecovery installed, and since it installs in system you lose recovery after wiping system and reboot.
Kernel with recovery is best option, you can safely wipe since kernel does not get wiped (only overwritten by rom or other kernel)
Hi langveld! Thank you for your reply..But i cannot go into fastboot.. Will it still do?

i guess you can only use the flashtools now, first try selecting kernel only for flashing without wiping anything. And if that doesnt work, then you have to flash the whole firmware. try holding vol down when connecting, i got into fastboot mode like that last time. good luck

need help, mucked up during installing cm11

I have a Sony Xperia Z1 and I have had cyanogenmod12.1 on my device for a little while now, but there are a couple of bugs and I wanted to go back to cyanogenmod11, so I downloaded the cm11 zip file onto my device and copyed it to the sd card,I then downloaded TWRP manager because the cyanogenmod recvoary does not have a zip file or flash part in the recovary, so I followed the procedures and then I flashed TWRP recovary. Once I got into the TWRP recovary I found the zip file for cm11 I then clicked flash. Not long later it said succesfull and then i had to reboot, i clicked reboot and this is where it whet wrong. My device then went into a bootloop because I left my device for 10mins. I then tried to access the custom recovary but it just came up with the sony logo and no custom recovary has come up since.

If you made a backup, flash dual recovery then restore the backup?
Otherwise flash stock and start again
The only solution is to flash your firmware and start from zero point
Since you said there is bootloop and no recovery
Or you can flash twrp img file through fastboot mode
But for safety flash is best
You do not need to do a fresh flash. Doing so without deselected some things might wipe data like photos.
1. If you don't already have the fastboot and ADB drivers, get them here
2. Download a kernel with recovery and extract the boot.img
3. Open up command prompt in the folder the boot.img is in
4. Make sure your device is turned off completely
5. Hold volume down while attaching it to your computer
6a. If you just want to have temporary acces to recovery type in this code:
Code:
fastboot boot boot.img
6b. If you want to keep acces and use the recovery after rebooting type in this code:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
7. Enter recovery the way you would normally do, backup your important files and/or flash the new rom and kernel you would like to use

Unfixable bootloop?

I'm what you'd call a super noob at this stuff and I've got my poor little SP in a crazy bootloop... I've tried LITERALLY EVERYTHING the internet has told me to try; wiping every cache out there, flashing custom roms, stock roms, you name it. It began when I just got CWM (don't ask me why it happened then, I have no clue why) and this is even BEFORE I put a ROM on! (I was all ready to put a ROM after getting CWM but bootloop happened).
Note: I have CWM recovery, I think I have lost my stock recovery, if I try some ROMS (ex. CM 12) they give me this error 7, once I found certain ROMS (PACMAN ROM, unofficial stock ROM) that would flash and install, they did but still left me with a bootloop, I have tried wiping so many caches it's not even funny, I've tried flashing the original firmware, nothing works... so I'm here for help.
I have looked at every google link and every method possible in trying to fix this thing! I really can't afford a new phone and I just love this one too much... please help!

Splendid! Knowing that your BL state is unlocked, this will make the whole process A LOT easier!

Please go to the above link to get TWRP. Also, please keep in mind that TWRP is now the only still supported recovery around. CWM and PhilZ are both really outdated and no longer maintained due to the introduction of Cyanogen Recovery which is very minimal in features.
Once you get yourself the download, extract the files from the zip and get the twrp.img file. We will need this to flash into the boot partition of Xperia SP, granting you a direct boot into recovery once it is flashed. Please then copy the original zip to your sd card, as we will be flashing the original zip via TWRP later to give you access to TWRP in the future.
Using your preferred tool, flash the twrp.img file into the boot partition.
Connect your Xperia SP via fastboot. Make sure SP is shut down, hold volume up key and connect the SP with your computer.
If you're using a fastboot tool via command prompt, the command would be
fastboot flash boot twrp.img
If you're using flashtool, hit the lightning icon in the toolbar, select fastboot mode. Then select "Select kernel to flash". Make sure the file type is "img" else you won't able to find your TWRP img file. Navigate to mentioned img file and select it.
Afterwards, when flashing complete, you may insert sdcard and start the device. It will boot directly into TWRP as we flashed a recovery to the boot partition.
Clean wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, system. You may leave internal storage.
Flash the ROM zip you acquired (make sure file integrity is checked beforehand!) then the TWRP zip earlier. Flashing the TWRP zip grants you a persisting recovery, as explained in the linked thread.
You may now reboot and enjoy

honor 4x (gplay g735 L23) recovery

I recently wanted to change to cianogenmod with the honor 4x, unlock the bootloader, the thing is that when I install the TWRP everything ok but at boot recovery was left on the home screen, install the CWM and perfect installed, but it appears to be a CHE2TL00H And does not let me install any other ROM, then when I try to install the original recovery or any other recovery does not start in recovery mode, the phone turns on but does not go into recovery only leaves the CWM, someone will accidentally have files to flash with flash tool That is not the file UPDATE.APP that as they already know only works with the original recovery or give me an idea or solution because I have done everything possible and nothing is not because it only accepts that recovery and not any other is in kit kat But I want cyanogenmod or even the original recovery to install the original rom
