SOLVED!
hello everyone,
I forgot my Xperia Z pattern lock. the phone is running on JB 4.3 which doesn't support the method on the earlier version...
I tried this one but it didn't work, because that secret menu didn't show up, I even watched some youtube vids.. same thing!
1) Click Emergency Call
2) Enter Service menu code
*#*#7378423#*#*
3) Click Customization Settings
4) Click Reset Customization
5) Click Reset Customization and reboot button.
if somebody knows other method that works on 4.3 to bypass the pattern lock plz let me know.

well, before, it used to ask me a secret question in my xperia s, but in xperia z i just created that pattern without any secret questions request...
yes i do have an email and pass, but it doesn't show a screen prompt!
If you get the pattern wrong too many times, you should be prompted for your Google login details. If not, I don't know what to suggest.

Your screen should look similar to mine, press forgot pattern and inser your Google details.

good morning. i love petes BB. but since 4.0.4 i can not use any screen off and lock app.... now i see, pixelrom 1.7.1 have an "notification based lockscreen". a little button to turn off the screen in the statusbar...and it works perfect.
is there any way to take this to BB?
Im having the same problem. What i did is to turn off my lockscreen in the security/lockscren to make the widget works without waking after locking the device yet i lose my lockscreen. But u can choose 3rd party lockscreen like widget locker if u wish.

I'm trying to unlock the bootloader of my C6603 and I keep getting errors or bootloops. My bootloader can be unlocked according to the attached screen.
I tried with Minimal ADB and I'm getting bootloops and with Sony Bootloader Unlock it's failing, according to this pic:

Drivers are installed correctly.
What's the catch?
Try using the fastboot package provided by DooMLoRD in his thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2153261
Also, the unlock key they send you is case sensitive, so double check what you're entering.

I tried with DL's method and just tried with FT. STILL getting BOOTLOOPS !
Try flashing a stock FTF with full wipe, then try again.
Also, I just noticed that your IMEI number is in your screenshot. I would remove it from the image if I were you.

Tried it. Still getting bootloops.
Then I can't think of anything else apart from trying a different USB cable/port or PC, but that probably won't make any difference.
When I unlocked my bootloader it worked straight away with no problems.

It worked on my XS. Looks like this one is a mystery.
Edit: CLEAN flashed it and tried an other port. Worked. Thanks for the suggestion!

As I remember, flashing an unlocked-BL phone won't relock it, right? I'd like to relock it after gaining root on the .569.

Don't forget to backup your TA before you unlock the bootloader. Otherwise you'll loose your DRM keys forever and won't be able to re lock your bootloader

Alright, I just purchased an Xperia Z, second hand, but i don't know the pattern. I have tried various times to hard reset it, using dozens of tutorials online and it wouldn't work. Another problem is that my computer is unable to find drivers for it, so I could not even reset it using Sony PC companion. Tips please?

My brother purchased it from France, and brought it to me. I live in Algeria. I have no contact with the original owner.
Did you install the drivers that are supplied with Flashtool?

Im in no way an expert on this subject but have you tried these drivers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635830 ?
Also install fastboot, flashtool etc etc
Then when they're installed, get the 4.3 FTF and flash it with flashtool, wiping the entire phone.

If you're stuck at the lockscreen pattern, and your phone is stock Sony and unrooted, then invoking the retail demo bypasses the lockscreen. Press emergency call and type "star-hash-star-hash-S E L L M O R E-hash-star-hash-star" ( *#*#73556673#*#*). This causes the store demo mode to run and bypasses lockscreen. Press volume or any part of the screen to exit, go to settings and disable screen lock....
Dead Cookies leave no trails...
Assuming that you don't have any data you'll require and it's all stock.
Just download and use Sony Update Service and restore the phone. That should install the appropriate drivers too in the computer.
@Cookie Ninja That's a pretty cool method but won't it ask you to enter the pattern when you try to disable pattern unlock?

Unlocking BL that causing permanent loss of DRM key that needs to BE2 and X-Reality. It still appear in Setting page but it is not functioning even it turns on. There is no different between BE2 On anOff. Also you can check it. If you still want to remove BE2 settings option,
1. Open your build.prop and search for lines,
ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1
then change the value "true" to "fales" and value "1" to "0". (highlighted in purple color). Then save build.prop and restart you device and check under Display setting if BE2 still available. :good:

Found this the other day myself. Fantastic lil app. I use the scanner to put device to sleep. I don't have to even touch my power button anymore to wake up or sleep the phone now.

I figured it out. Is there a way to disable the pin unlock so I can use "expand notifications"? I use the swipe to open feature when unlocking my phone.
Does anyone know how to enable the fingerprint without the PIN, pattern, or password? Is there a way to get the fingerprint and swipe to unlock your screen?

Ys this would be perfect if we could use Fi get print to unlock after using to sleep.
it does not work when fingerprint call comes i have to lock device and then again unlock.
But now i am using this app this is perfect for me i am using on android-O .
