I just got a nexus7 to install in the car. What launcher/front end are you guys using for your car installs?
I think I am going to go with Zeljko1234's rom. I would love to see how you guys are setting up your homescreens for easy use in the car.

Hi, i can suggest To You The usbrom with timur's kernel, a dedicated rom or The n7 car installation. It s really good and when not in use lost 1-2%/h.
For home when in car i use car home ultra, it s very usefull.

Hey guy, Donno what feature you mean but I guess there is a working Sony launcher with timescape. Maybe your feature request is included too.

Yes it does. I'm on PAC-Rom and everything works just as expected!
Hello everyone.
So, I upgraded to KitKat (duh!) Loving all the new features.
But... After having used j-team aosp for a while my phone wouldn't give me proper battery readings:
Phone would say that the battery is charging even though it's not.
Phone would say that battery is at 100% even though it's not and it would later on (randomly) switch to some other value closer to the real value and decrease very quickly.
Phone does not recognise it's charging and instead displays the same value all the time.
Now, I can make it work OK if I reboot the phone, but it's really a bit of a hassle.
This same issue is present even after I switched to TC CM11 so I'm not sure it's rom-related (did all the wipes of course!!) but at the same time my boyfriend had the same issue when he installed cm11 on stock jb, so I don't think it's phone related.
I tried a couple of battery calibration apps with no avail.
Any suggestions...?
Thanks in advance!

Do couple full charge and discharge and see what happen. It is like that when you change ROM, my fist charge on new CM11 gave me half day of use, but 2-3 charge was fine.
Well, the thing is, I've been using cm11 for more than a month now. I'm sure the battery has had enough time to settle!

It runs "OK". I'm working with a 128 GB card and stripped most of the bloatware. It takes a minute to start up. Transitioning from screen to screen takes a few seconds. In game runs fine. I'd recommend letting each animation play fully before selecting another move.
I can concur with this. Hearthstone is usable, but not ideal. Now if only I wasn't terrible at Hearthstone...
Hi. Probably in next months I should have my Note 1 back. I would like to use it only as GPS Navigator (with Sygic), so i was thinking to install latest official Rom. I think official is the best.
But I cannot remember how was the quality of GPS signal. Was it good?
And, in your opinion, is installing stock Rom a good solution or can you suggest me a better option?

Hi guys I have a nexus 7 2013 installed in the car for navigation and entertainment. I would like to have speakerphone calls coming on my Honor 8 as in a "normal" car entertainment system.
I would use Tasker to do so but I don't know where to start. Can someone please help me out? Thanks in advance.

Hi
You can use nfc tag
When phone touched nfc, tasker turns Bluetooth on and connect to car-bt

OK but the problem is that my car doesn't have a normal Bluetooth interface. I took off the oem stereo and I replaced it with the tablet. So I wanna use the tablet for the calls.

Why are you making this so hard? tablet talk app
Tablet talk is no longer supported. Last update was done in 2014. Is there any other app or method? Thanks
