It should. The method to unlock, install recovery, and root has not changed.

This doesnt seem to be working for me. I have an HTC M8 H/K edition with an unlocked bootloader. I tried installing twrp and it goes to fastboot and does nothing. I waited for about 10-15 minutes before pulling the cable and restarting the phone. Any idea what may be causing this?

It's possible that the toolkit sent the fastboot command before the phone actually booted into fastboot, which made it lose the command. Try rebooting into fastboot first, let your computer recognize your phone, then flash TWRP.

Yeah, it will support the Desire X, though you're currently in the M8 forums, so I'd suggest going to the main thread or the thread in the Desire X section if you have any future issues with it. :good:

- So it already works for our M7? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2499926 this thread suggests it does)
- What version does it work up to?
- Does it download packages for you or are they all user-supplied
- Did you mean to title your thread M7 instead of M8 in the M7 section?
- Why does the screenshot show One X+ selected, but M8 as the only option for flashing recovery?
- Anything on s-off/on?

- Yes, the One M7 is fully supported.
- The latest available, assuming it's still unlockable through HTC Dev.
- SuperSU is included, and it downloads the latest TWRP recoveries and ADB drivers if necessary.
- Yup, just a typo.
- It's a generic screenshot being used in all my threads until I can get pics of specific phones. You manually choose a phone through the toolkit, but it also recognizes the currently plugged in phone separately, and I happen to own an X+, so it will show that in all my screenshots.
- No S-OFF/ON for now until I can find a consistent way to implement the wildly varying methods for all phones.
Hopefully that answered all your inquiries.

Also when trying to mount gives error. Can't mount data

Caution everyone don't use this to flash TWRP, it flashes TWRP to the system instead of the recovery image so you won't be able to boot into android and you'll get errors trying to mount the images!! If you want TWRP just use fastboot to flash it!

2.3 and 2.4 do not seem to be working. They keep suggesting that the Nexus Player is an htc device when attempting to unlock the bootloader

Do you have to have your NP connected directly to the pc for this? or can I ADB through the network?
just picked up a NP player today. installed the drivers and such as prompted when i started the toolkit. But just says "unauthor" at the bottom. says nothing is connected. Does the NP need to be plugged into a TV at the same time? I dont have a laptop so i have to plug it into my PC on 1 side of the room in order to use the toolkit.
I use the same toolkit and yes it has to be connected to a TV as you have to put the np in recovery mode. I modify them so you can get every channel available.
I just bought two of these awesome players had all sorts of issues with this toolkit even working and the other main toolkit nothing would unlock my bootloader..
Downloaded WUGfresh NEXUS toolkit and that didnt work either so i ran manual mode from wugfresh then did the unlock code myself low and behold it worked lol
we have had a nexus player for almost a year now and are currently working on a friend's to unlock the BL and root to put Kodi on for them. now... my question..
has anyone successfully unlocked the bootloader AFTER taking the 6.0 OTA? we thought "hey to make it easier on ourselves and them we will just leave lean back instead of going with lollirock, take the update and put kodi on for them" we were a little over zealous because now our desktop (linux)terminal won't recognize the device and we have tried mannnny cables we know to work.
any advice or anything helps.. you know how it is to get the gears turning ? hoping that we didn't update and now there's no way to do it. I have a feeling ..

You can unlock it via adb/fastboot, type the following in the command shell. Fastboot oem unlock. You may have to type it twice but beware as it will erase everything on the nexus player.

Yeah, it's currently Windows only. I'm considering ways to port it to Mac and Linux though.

No
Bootloader unlock is not working for note mi pro.
It looks like Xiaomi locked the bootloader in one the latest updates, so the toolkit may not work if you've updated recently. I'll see if I can include an official way to unlock the bootloader for the next toolkit update.

So you don't have to wait for the update, you can follow the instructions here to unlock your bootloader. Then, you can flash recovery and root with the current toolkit. :good:

I'd love to, but I'm not that good of a coder and I only have a Windows computer, so I'd need help from other people to do that. Hopefully I can get some help from devs in the future. :fingers-crossed:
