Hii all..
This base on irfanbagus dualboot kernel for sgy (still in development after V-1.2)..
For now tester only is this kernel can booting. Give ur logcat report to analyze the problem if can booting.

Check file in "/sys/class/regulator/regulator.5/microvolt" if its show 1200000 (use 832mhz freq) that mean UV working

Bored with sgy stuff.. Wanna try luck in Duos.. lol..
Im only playing in ramdisk not compile from source so if this work its will be reference to other dev to explore and modify if their interest too with dualboot..
Btw i see ur experiment integrated cwm kernel and size is 5.4mb mmm im affraid duos have same max size kernel with sgy only 5mb so u know will stuck or bootloop..

I tried that cwm experiment on my Y and my boot image was blinking! You have a repo? I will see it and integrate this mod in my kernel.

Not yet for now.. Until this one can booting first and hope dualboot can running well like in old brother sgy then i'll try to add cwm into Duos kernel..

Maybe because TD is not using dualboot feature in the rom so it will stuck in boot or bootloop.
Just my cute think...

nope...thats not the reason. dualboot doesn't need rom support. i hope more tester will come. no sgy user want to be a tester in these days. devs are fighting alone in their project. sgy duos development is still on very early project. people should realize that tester is a mandatory for the development. no devs can do their work without the testers.

Unfortunately, people here only know to demand things and they dont take part in testing. I have 3 projects in this forum and out of maybe 100 users only 2 turned out to help me in testing. (No offence. But its true)

basically, almost all galaxy y roms works on mini plus
we only need to replace camera.apk and fix accelerometer issue by flasing the fix (you can search it)
but dont try any galaxy y kernel

And build prop should be changed too. I changeed my camera app and I modify my build prop file in order to show the corect phone model. WI-FI should be repaired...
EDIT: the new camera app don't work...

Accelerometter fix here. How about camera? I can't solve this problem...
Kernel works fine for the moment.
A wi-fi bugfix will be great for now...

- you can not change the "performance" guvernor

well imean the stock camera. all 3rd party camera will detect our original phone camera capability
for stock camera we can hoot it from any stock rom

Stock camera don't work. I put the camera app in the right folder ( give permisions blablabla... ) and after reboot no camera app see into my menu.
Kernel works fine now. You should edit the first post to write more exactly how to install it...

sorry. my bad.

I tried the kernel with the madteam ROM. Applied the accelerometer fix and changed the build.prop, but the WiFi doesn't connect and gives me an error.

i will release 1 patch for fix it,but for now,its time for kernel

Wi-FI problem is already write into the ROM thead. Is says that if you turn off your wi-fi you need to reboot in order to turn on the wi-fi again.
Problems with that rom:
- camera app
- wifi problem
- 3g problem
- bluetooth problem
- many more.....

5. click start. & wait until says pass and phone reboots.
now you have custom kernel.
how to use features
if u have my latest rom then it has no frill cpu app included or download no frill cpu from play store its free. you can also use setCPU which is paid ...change governors and i/o according to ur will . but do it all on ur own risk.
i recommend hotplug as governor and sio as i/o with max frequency of 1.2ghz and min of 600mhz.

no OC at present ..i am testing it..
no issues so far its stable and no reboot or overheating issues.

Excellent work mate, if we keep progressing like this we might get our own sub-forum! Some suggestions -
1) You could integrate CWM recovery with the kernel, if you haven't done it already. Then provide a .tar one package file for flashing via ODIN
2) Maybe add a warning about triggering an increase in binary counter in OP
3) Does it support Vodoo sfx?
Waiting for OC! (I hope you have a JTAG jig ready, especially with the amount of development you are doing)
P.S. - We can also check out support for Heimdall and Mobile Odin

not only permission but my galaxy y duos goes wrong when i flashed home button not working and screen lock not working to and when i flashed uninstall the phone still as if i didn't do any thing until i flashed rom with odin

1st of all. dear user other peoples also use and mine is Duos no any problem appears in my Device. so wtf u done. if u dont know basic than why holding android.
And all users know Rooting + custom kernel + busybox must installed in ur Device (if u dont know the working of Busybox than first read about it ). And if u r using compact or any other kernel rather than iduos than leave those . Just use iDuos1.3.1 kernel and also galaxy y users installed it they Didnt got any problem.
This project closed.
lastly i made v5 uninstaller.

Not sure because the kernel is for P700 but you can use Flashify (google the apk if it is free or Buy the app if paid), extract the boot.img from the zip and then try to see if smoke comes out from your 3.5mm jack. If it does not come out, you are good to go. But as always, i take no risks if your phone runs away from you or if your PC hides and cries in a corner .as always, have a good day.

Hey, you can try to do the build.prop, I add it to @szymel00 's ROM with premission, same as all of those apps i mentioned and the kernel. And aalso Xposed and the module rom my other thread. Would that be a good Stock ROM? In the credits section, me, you, @F4uzan, @szymel00 and the creators of the apps i bundled in the ROM. That would be a hell of a ROM. AAAAAAND, also a P705 version in which i try to remove the NFC section from the Kernel and, with credits to the devs rename the kernel and also do versions for P700/705. Would that be good 4 you and for the community?
