I was using stock ROM and I was using data network normally . I changed my sim card type and didn't try data network with the new sim
And I changed baseband and my kernel to anc2 after I returned to previous sim it said me change traffic plan and I said yes . but I can't use data network now. And I flashed omni rom and data network didn't work too any idea how to solve this problem note. I returned to previous baseband and it didn't work too mine was ana2
(solved) the problem was with my sim card

I've upgraded my n7000 to 4.0.3 everything was fine till i inserted my postpaid sim card and said cannot connect to network.I have tried to connect manually and doesn't work as well.
Checked the imei and was wrong 004999010640000 , reflashed it with stock 2.3.5 , restored the original imei everything was ok (with prepaid and postpaid sim cards).
But if i update again to any 4.X.X rom it doesn't recognize postpaid sim but has no problem with prepaid sim cards.
Any suggestion on where might be the problem or what should i do?

Hello !
I have an Optimus Black with Cyanogenmod 4.1.2. The Phone works well, i have the same SIM Card inside which i bought with the Phone from my Provider.
Now i want to gift the phone to my son, but for that i want my Optimus to accept another SIM Card/Provider.
I thought the Phone is open when i flash the ROM and wipe any Data.
Using any other SIM Card, except my Providers card, causes a Network error.
No Network scan can be made in the Configuration menu.
Or is it a ROM Bug ?
Any idea ?
regards VirtuAl
Hi, I have xt1079 for about 6 months, and it works well, since the day I used it in low coverage area,
it has Mokee 5.1 build and works in LTE network. And I take the 2nd sim card off while the phone was working, and after that the phone cant recognize the 2nd sim card at all, after a half of hour the 1st sim card lost too.
After rebooting the phone show phone app error...as I can see, in settings menu IMEI information became "unknown".
I wiped the phone and try to reflash the same firmware, but the result was the same. I tried 6.1 firmware, and the IMEI information came back and the phone works , but only in 2g. I mean I set the LTE/ 3G/2G, but it always in 2g network.
If I install LTE only or 3g only - no signal.
If I flash the phone back to any 5.1 ROM it's loose sim cards.
What would you recomend? Flash stock firmware?
I don't do it yet, what do I need to flash stock firmware?
Download the stock firmware for XT1079 and flash it from PC using fastboot. All the process & steps to flash are already available on XDA, just give it a search.
I lost my sim card signal, in which i was rooted and on custom rom of RR final version, what happend in real is the sim cards (2) working fine in my phone but one of the sim card is getting less signals and i thought to change the network mode in settings as well as in *#*#4636#*#* mode by on & off the radio option, by doing that i lost both sim card signals, then i flashed stable ( stock) rom from official website then i got sim 2 in working and sim 1 no signal, then i flashed with RR custom rom by rooting again then i lost sim 2 signal and i got sim 1 back, it was full of confusion, then i was back to stock rom
Now i started doing process with adb& sdk by changing modems and all but nothing changed
At lost i lost both the sim card network.....
But other sim cards are working perfectly in my phone and my non working sim cards which i used in my phone were working fine in other phone as well..
At last i even tried to give for service center they even could not doing anything .. (they try very hard)
So guys, what do u think were i made a mistake in this process, please any suggestions..., thnk you in advance.,
do you restored the same network setting back ?

Download any official global recovery rom for your model and look inside the "firmware update" folder you will find modem fileb"NON-HLOS.bin". Extract this file to pc inside fastboot folder and open fastboot then connect your device in fastboot mode and type the following lines one by one.
fastboot devides
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot reboot
Now your device will reboot and you get your networks.
Try this if you still having that handset. This method will work 100%.
Incase you need modem file only then feel free to contact me.
I updated my phone from miui 9 to miui 10beta....after few days cellular data is not working...signals are not shown....but when I connect to a WiFi network... cellular signals are shown.....but still I can't make calls...can anyone help me... please..
Try reinserting sim/restarting your device.
If possible try using different Carrier sim to check if this issue persist on your current network carrier or it is bug with miui.
Try changing apn for mobile data.
Try changing preferred network.
Are facing this issue in all areas or it is for specific area? If you are not getting network anywhere then it could be possibly sim card issue or miui beta ROM has network bug with update that you are using.
Also check if IMEI number is showing or not?
