Hi there,
Anyone that could help me with my KFHD 7"
I run TWRP v2.6.3.1, and installed CM-11-20140114-UNOFFICIAL-tate and gapps-kk-20140105.
The first installation went fine and it booted using the new CM. However, next time I booted, it got stuck in boot loop on the blue KFHD logo.
I can enter TWRP, but it fails when I run recovery of any previous versions.
I have a factory cable.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

I installed the latest build August 6th and since then my touchpad has been in a boot loop, the only thing I can go into is the webOS I can't even get into the TWRP it starts to load then restarts. Unfortunately I didn't backup the system to my PC, any suggestions would be helpful.

I just did a clean install and I am getting the same boot loop.
hi, my kindle fire hd 7 1st gen got stuck in blue logo. Thats all what i did:
1) Rooted it
2) Installed 2nd bootloader & TWRP
All was going fine, then i decided to install gapps so i downloaded the zip file, logged into recovery, selected the zip file and installed it.
After reboot, it shows the orange logo for 2 sec and then stuck on blue logo. If i try to hold volume up and power all i get its a black screen.
What should i do?
Thanls

Boot into TWRP and wipe only Dalvic and CACHE and reboot. Let me know if that helps.
Same here
Same thing happened to me...KFHD8.9
I had CM10.1 and wanted to try 10.2. Everything went well and 10.2 worked. I had the Kindle all set up and downloaded all of my apps again. I powered it off last night and when I turned the Kindle back on today, it got stuck on the Kindle blue logo. I was able to restore it back to 10.1 but I was just curious if anyone has any ideas on what happened. Like I said, everything was working great until the Kindle was powered off and back on later. Thanks.
Hi guys,
So I am quite a noob at doing such things, you should know this before reading this post. I went ahead and was booting cm11 for the first time after using seokhun's method, but found that my tablet was looping. I (foolishly) decided to reflash the .bin file from his post and start from scratch, but I ended up messing up the Kindle further. It flashes the orange logo three times, and then stays on the logo on the fourth time. Recovery doesn't work, and it won't boot into fastboot. Help!

Are you using a fastboot cable to get into fastboot?
>>>Sent from my homebuilt TARDIS running Android 4.4... or maybe it's a Kindle Fire HD running Cyanogenmod 11<<<
Can u boot into recovery.... I had a similar problem with my phone.... Try to wipe dalvik cache factory reset and then just flash another rom or reflash the Same rom...
Sent from my MIND using my BODY....(JUST KIDDING)
Can't get into recovery, and no, I am not using a fastboot cable. I ordered one today though. Will it work even with the hard bricks?
Stuck on in bootloop, i wiped my kindle fire HD of everything, now when i boot it up it goes directly to the twrp boot icon and does not do anything. It flashes occasionally. I can boot into fastboot but that is all. Please help.
I tried booting into fastboot and typing
fastboot -i 0x1949 flash recovery TWRP.img but to no avail.
I solved it by tinkering around in KFFirstAide.
Tried reinstallling KFHD 7.2.4
then tried reinstalling TWRP with it.
I have no idea what made it suddenly work (probably the wiping of the cache) but if you have the same issue, just do what i did.

Can you please supply links or steps for each procedure? Thanks, i have the same problem.
Hello. I had CM12 on my KFHD7. Yesterday I updated it to CM12.1 via CM update in settings menu. After that I perform factory reset from the settings menu. But my kindle reboot and got stuck in recovery bootloop (I can see teamwin logo which is only blinking).
I got into fastboot mode trying to repair it with Kindle Fire Utility. But now my Kindle has only black screen. I cant turn it on using power button, after connecting to pc nothing happens.
Does someone know what to do now, please?

I have the same problem. In my case, after CM12.1 update, i perform factory reset from CM settings, no from twrp. Kindle reboot and bootloop in teamwin logo.
Same here. Any idea how to fix this?
try a factory cable to get you into fastboot.

Using the factory cable got into fastboot, followed instructions to reflash custom recovery and everything worked.

cool it worked, but lost the root. the issue is that I cannot get my Kindle to show as a drive letter in windows and therefore cannot use Qemu root or Root with restore of binary :/
