Black List calls and sms - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

Hi to all,
my question is:
how can I block calls and messages from my contact ?
It is possible with app inside rom, or to install other app ?
I have rom kitkat 4.4.2.

There may be an option called 'Privacy' in your settings... I got it and my phone runs on Pac-Rom 4.4.2.
In there I can blacklist calls and messages.
It should also be able, when you longpress the contact you want to block. I guess there is an option like that.
Hit thanks when it helped you!
Greetings from Austria!

[Q] MIUI can't find my contacts to send SMS - I can't remember how to do :\

Hi.
I remember there was a function to let MIUI stock SMS app find your contacts when you try to send an SMS but I can't remember how to enable it.
For example, if I have to send a message to John, I just should type "J" and the system recognizes the rest. Now I'm using Handcent SMS to do this correctly but I would like to use the MIUI app.
Can please someone remind me the steps?
I'm sure there's a solution, I've read it somewhere!!
Thanks in advance!
When I had this problem I just found that the contacts number wasn't set as their mobile number. If this is the case for you just go to that contact and edit it

I believe it was in mms - advanced settings. But i dont remenber which setting.

Thank you both.
I tried both solutions but with no results. I'm sure there's a fix for that!
EDIT: I got it! Messaging -> Settings -> Advanced settings -> Filter numbers
I think it's the same if you pass from MMS section.
Thank you very much!

[Q] Samsung Dialer/SMS functions in JB ROM?

On samsung stock roms (froyo/GB) if you ware in contacts/or mms/or phone you could drag your contact and swipe left for making phone call, and swipe right to send message (or maybe it was the other way). Is there an addon to JB ROM which gives you this kind of functionality?
Somebody suggested to install TW, but it only gave me launcher, and i'm using nova and like it. I really miss this feature in JB/ICS roms.
exDialer app from Play Store has these features. Works fine in JB

Yep, I use exdialer, but it have no integration with sms/mms app. but thx for answer
What do you mean no integration? On exDialer contacts, swiping right will call, and swiping left will send sms to the contact.

Yes, but on mms apk you can't swipe to make a call, or can you?
No, but tapping on the contact within sms/mms app can allow you to call.
I didn't notice swiping contact within sms/mms will call the contact in GB.

You may want to check your stock messaging app as any messages you sent or received from GoSMS, should also show up there.

does anyone know how to stop the messaging app from displaying the entire message and the navigation bar and when you turn your screen on does anyone know how to make it just say message message received . I'm wondering if I may have to use a third-party messaging app ?
