I've tried the temp-root metod, that doesn't require the unlock...so there isn't a way to s-off without htcdev unlock?
Without htcdev I haven't heard any. I had troubles going soff on 4.4.2 once I went s on. There's a ckpv5 post buried in one of the threads which helped me gain s on

I tried the same but couldn't get temp root to work. Don't know why.
Unlocked via HTC Dev and S-off with Firewater afterwards was hazzle-free

At this point you are now ready to flash a Gingerbread RUU. That is the final step, the key is to pick one that will change the HBOOT to 1.13 so you can use Revolutionary to S-OFF.
The guide has a suggested ROM you should use.
Okay i used htcdev to unlock again but it is still 2.00.000. So what i have to do then? Just start the ruu.exe or flash hboot.img extract from the Ruu in the thread.

Hello everyone, I have a HTC One and is currently as follows:
*** LOCKED ***
M7_U PVT SHIP S-OFF RH (I USE REVONE TO GET S-OFF AND WRITE SUPERCID VIA COMMAND)
CID-11111111
HBOOT-1.54.0000
RADIO-4A.18.3263.15
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-3.06.1700.10
eMMC-boot 2048MB
Ok, i want to go back to stock with any RUU since I'm S-OFF. But once i'm at stock 4.3 i will lose S-OFF and Root? And If i want to flash a custom rom back, i need to flash cwm or twrp first and then choose rom from install zip from sd or just restore backup?
If i go S-ON i can get S-OFF again with my currently HBOOT? and new HBOOT too 1.55 ?
THANK´S !!!
I have the same question.. Will I lose s-off after flashing a 4.3 RUU zip/exe?

You won't lose S Off . Doesn't matter what Rom or Ruu you use with regards to S Off , only way to "loose" S Off is by write secure command.
So go ahead, you will retain S Off .

So assuming I'm s-off, superCID, unlocked right now and I'm on hboot 1.54 with 4.2.2, if I use the dev edition RUU for 4.3, ill remain s-off, upgrade to hboot 1.55, and yet have superCID??

Yes
Hi there, managed to recently unroot, and flash my RUU back to stock which is Android 4.1.2.
I'm so off, my device is relocked. And i'm super CID.
When I try to search for an update my phone says i'm up to date which isn't the case.
I've tried to google framework fix but It didn't work.
I just want to be able to update my phone OTA and not need to use my computer anymore, that's why I unrooted.
Here is some further information:
RELOCKED
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID-11111111
HBOOT-1.44.0000
RADIO-4a.13.3231.27
OPENDSP-v26.120.274.0202
eMMC-boot
That's what I see when I go into HBOOT
Thanks in advance.

I had to SUPER CID to flash this particular RUU.
If I change my CID back now, will this mean my RUU is redundant and then crick my phone?

I got an HTC One from Sprint today that has Hboot 1.55 running on Android 4.3 and was wondering how would i go about unlocking it without using HTCdev or Firewater because they require an internet connection?
Is there a way to unlock the bootloader and gain S-off without using HTCdev or Firewater method for Hboot 1.55? I read Revone is able to but requires Hbooot 1.44. I also tried Rumrunner but that also requires internet.
I read scotty1223s post to unlock without HTCdev but it requires S-off to already be set first.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475914
Is an offline method available to unlock and gain S-off with an HTC One Hboot 1.55 running Android 4.3?
Model: M7_WLS PVT SHIP S-On RH
Thanks
I have:
HTC M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT 1.57.0000
Bootloader is unlocked and stock room is rooted.
How to turn S-OFF?
I find this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/guide-htc-one-m7-hboot-1-57-s-off-t2807762
but I cant find Firewater, link doesnt work.
Can anybody send me this file?

The only way to S-OFF with HBoot 157 is with Sunshine which is a paid service.
http://theroot.ninja/
There are no free ways to do this currently.

It was my understanding it used an online resource to S-OFF which has now been taken down...so the sofware cannot work....but maybe you have found a way round it?

@shepppster is correct, firewater has been discontinued, it's online resources are no longer available so it will not work.
Only way to s-off Hboot 1.57 is Sunshine which costs $25 or with a jtag service which will most likely cost considerably more.
