[Q] What ROM should i flash

Hi all,
sorry for my noob question but i would like to know, as a first time flasher, what ROM i should flash?
I have a P1000 Australian tab, rooted but thats it.
I would like something that runs faster, smoother and with as few bugs as possible.
With so many options out there i was wondering if people could post there experiences with the different ROMS available through this forum to help me decide which one to try first.
I have some experience in jailbreaking (iphones) hacking the motorola Razor and a few other phones over the years.

I have a Aussie telatra tab. I'm using overcome, its the best rom at the moment. Give it a try

Any Euro ROM will work on Aussie shipped Tabs. I have an Aussie Optus Tab and use Roto JMIv2, love it.

[Q] flashing ROM on Orange UK i9100

Hey everyone. i just got my sII last week on orange and have been trying to flash a rom like MIUI or CM7 but have had no luck so far. i am fully rooted and have scoured the forums looking for as much info as possible but cant really follow anything.
im running 2.3.3 and my build number is = GINGERBREAD.BVKH2
iv tried flashing different kernals to try and get it to work but nothing has so far. any feedback or help from more experienced users would be greatly appreciatted thanks in advance.

I have search high and low for confimation of a custom rom that works on my phone and is stable, my questions to you guys are:
What stable roms are there now because i have looked and i can only find benz rom?
Also i have rooted my phone but i still have the stock kernal.
so how do i go about flashing the new rom?
Please help, i really want to overclock my cpu
My phone is a s3 mini i8910n on 4.1.2 xxamb1
any other info you need just ask please.

You obviously haven't searched hard enough, there are a number of great stable roms now, as well as guides and tutorials on how to flash...search and look again

Hi, welcome.
That's true, there's some custom rom available for your phone model include BenzRom of course. Just go to development section, you'll found them.

Cheers for the welcome... Thanks for the info, I had obviously not searched properly lol. One last question my model number is xxamb1 and the roms say things like xxamb3 and b2? will these work on my phone?

Be careful, your phone model is I8190N. Check again if the custom rom is for your phone model.

The rom i have found is [ROM][DEODEX][I8190/N/L]DMod v4 -- Galaxy S4 stuff - Extreme smoothness![23/04/2013] is that any good? and is it for my phone?

I tested it and it is great, it is for your phone which you can even see in the quote you posted.

Hey, everyone! This is my first post on XDA, though I'm a long time reader. These boards have been very helpful to me but there are still some questions that I haven't been able to find the answer for, with one of them being the topic of this thread.
So, I also own i9305N version of Samsung Galaxy S3 and since there are no custom ROMs made specifically for my version of the phone, I was wondering if flashing a ROM made for i9305 (say, PAC-ROM or Carbon ROM) would result in my phone malfunctioning or becoming completely unusable.

CM 11 for i9305 works fine for me and i have GT-i9305n.
Read and think before you do anything.

Yes you can , but why not use one of these pre rooted roms as it will root it without triggering the count.
I have use them for two years, never a problem....

I have up date Ota android 4.3 have Knox...I just want Root and Set recovery on my phone...That right?
And i just Flash some rom for my phone. It don't risk phone?

Just quick question. I've been scrolling and searching the forums.
since I have a g870a am I unable to use g900 roms? I can't seem to find many g870a
Roms or anything. I've found and am using a stock rooted 4.4.2 rom atm but I was just asking if I'm looking in the wrong Area or what. I'm just kinda lost in what to do next..
Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Thx

Not much to find unfortunately. Since the bootloader is locked and your stuck with the stock kernel only stock tw based roms.
I'm running stock rooted 5.0 from this thread....
