explain what you mean. if its just taking a long time to flash, thats normal(lichti fixed it in his version several weeks ago). rastakat could take up to 10 minutes to actually flash. if you got an error, thats not normal.

flashing again lets see :fingers-crossed:
I'd be willing to give it a shot, but I cant until later today (maybe in around 4-6 hours). I've been looking for something new.
I do have to ask though, will it work with Sprint? I've been wanting to try out rastakat for a while but read that there needs to be a special build for Sprint. Is that only needed for the Update PRL/Profile stuff? In any case, I'd still be willing to try out your rom.
yea, up to 10 minutes, lol.
@snak3ater you should ask @lichti1901 what he did.

you might also post it, in the official cm7 thread in the dev section (other people were also looking for it)
I' ve seen that the cm7 is not deodexed! I've mad the patch but if i'm not wrong it can run only on deodexed ROM. If you want to try it, tell me, and i will post the patch.

and yes i'd like to try it :3
ok here it is.
Make a nandroidbackup first!
I'm not responsible for any problem. The boot takes much time 5/10 minutes, mount system before flash. If the phone doesn't boot, the patch is not compantible.

I've just built AOSP from master branch.
The most interesting thing is the optimized ART runtime. It's enabled by default and works with much more apps now.
I didn't try it on N4 yet, but on a similar device which basically is hardware compatible.

it's from master branch.
basically it's a mix between 4.4.3 and 4.5.
Google pushes core changes to master branch and hobby devs can use gerrit to merge changes into that branch.
The new features and UI changes are still closed source until google releases a new android update.

Installed on my Nexus 4 and everything works ok. Installed Banks' latest Gapps too. TWRP still working.
One weird thing is there's a red square flashing around the edge on some screens.
Have to go out so didnt have time to mess around any more.

not working with multirom as secondary in my case. But as primary it works. I've selcted the dev package with over 300mb. So enjoy the (I'm not liking) os
Yes. I just flashed the nightly September 1 and it booted. Hung on google for a minute then booted up. Five minutes later I went back to Android.

wow. You we're able to be on 5 minutes ? I think it was for me at least 3. Ugly system. Not disrespectful but I don't like the ui. It's an early stage version. Maybe they will implement good parts. Somwhere, sometimes.
Yeah, I gave it two more minutes just trying to get the time set. Its kinda bad all the way around. I spent more time in recovery backing up and restoring than I did on the ROM.
they had, and still have the best multitasking on a mobile device i've ever used. it was just so fluid and intuitive. some of their features they incorporated are still ahead of their time today
I have tested it, and I can't get it to work properly.
When I use the stable version, I have gsm signal, but I cannot make calls and have no wifi.(Disable sim pin otherwise It won't work at all)
With the nightly I have no gsm signal at all, wifi starts scanning but doesn't find any wireless networks.
without internet, not much you can do.
I wonder if it has to do with the radio versions?
As for the rest, it's quite buggy and laggy but doable.
I just don't like the way they implemented the pre's hardware button/gesture area :s
I've been chatting with the devs on irc (#webos-ports on freenode). They're doing all their builds off of android version 4.2.2. No one is quite sure if that matters, but they recommended starting from there as they used some hooks that may have changed. If you're having issues try flashing to android 4.2.2 then to luneos.

New ROM
;]
Pixel 2 XL Port V1
Only like 890 ish mb
Fast, light.
Magisk 15.3 pre rooted
Encryption break zip pre installed
Busybox
Zip aligned
Pixel setup wiz
Google camera
Dark themed
Some other extra customizations
Based on alpha centauri ROM by Jonas ! Awesome dev BTW! Thanks for the base man! Link to his ROM to follow.
Smaller DPI, ALL rounded windows
Pristine ROM.
ROM:https://mega.nz/#!0nQV1CLa!jAnUWQqHpoQouULKKK6Fiz49IGYbklV9CdGJQNDQ4uA
Just download, wipe everything but internal and external, flash ROM. I was worried the encryption break wouldn't work right since its flashed before magisk, I had it in the kitchen to flash last, but it has a mind of its own apparently..and flashes fine none the less. After test flashes, 3x, I setup the phone and booted back to recovery and could still Mount data.so we're good. ROM doesn't have a file manager, but I recommend mixplorer or solid explorer on play. And the only thing that doesn't work is applock. Its a samsung feature that didn't work well with the google framework. So u can see it, it just doesn't do ****. Causes settings to reboot. Also, there is no advanced reboot menu. Tried to keep it pure.
Enjoy.
Jack

Great Job guys ... I thank you for your dedication to our special phone. As long as you build and post them I will flash and use them !!!
issues
Just couple things I notice in case you would like to know. . .
1) At the initial setup screen. Two options at bottom are Emergency and Vision.
If you click on Vision it crashes "Settings have Stopped"
.
-- ALSO --
.
If you let it sit there you will get this "tuiService has "Stopped."
2) You might want to change the Model Number . . it is showing SM-A510F ( doesnt matter to me ) but might confuse some.
3) My home screen is "jumpy" it bounces up and down for a while then stops and starts again ??
That is all I found so far, but its late and I will finish checking all tomorrow.
Thanks again for your work guys !! I love it
