BEST ROMvfor xperia T

hi guys..i'm new here just bought a Sony xperia T and i want to root it and install a new ROM .
I'ev unlocked my bootloader but I dont understand how to make root at my phone..also can you guys pls advice me what rom should I Install and kernel ? thx.

err, did you read the first thread in this forum...look at it and read the first 3 posts in the very first thread in the Q&A section.

If it helps, I'm going to update my ROM to JB today, but of course you can choose any ROM you wish...
Most ROMs here are stock based, and therefore are very similar.
If you want AOSP then go for CM10, if you like the Sony interface, go for one of the stock based ones.

I never recommend a rom, its personal choice.
Try some out and see which you prefer. There are lots to try and a good rom for one person is a bad rom for someone else.
If you want to be told which rom to use, why dont you just use the one Sony says you have to use and stick with stock

well i unlocked+rooted+ changed the rom miself(the tuts around here are quite kinda very @-) ) ....
and also I've installed this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2026918 .
also I know that Sony XDA doesn't have alot of devs..so only simple things..
i has an ONE X but changed it with Xperia T (had also Xperia S) .

Like everything else, it's a very subjective question.
Here's my 2 pence worth.
Coming from a galaxy s2, the dev on Xperia t is limited at best. Nevertheless, I've tried crazybuild, xperiment, PAC, jellybam thus far.
Sony stock has too much bloat ware for me, but it has some nice touches like the small apps.
For customisation and features I prefer the jellybam rom, however, it has many issues I.e inadequate camera app, not all toggles work etc.
I'm personally waiting for a stock rom with cm/aokp mods.

There's is the KangXperia rom, which is a port of AOKP, and works quite well, in fact I'm writing from it right now.

Is camera at full res or max at 5m? Also are u experiencing high pitched tone/noise when using speaker during a call?

this is the bad thing about CM related rom that the camera isn't optimized for our Phone..and u lose alot of cool things(settings) + maybe the MP

I use Camera FV-5 and I can shoot at the maximum 13 megapixel of the sensor without any problem.
Regarding the speaker noise, I've never used handsfree during a call, will see if I can try this evening and tell you later.

Okay, I can confirm that this rom suffers the same bug regarding hands free speaker as other roms.

It depends on your priorities. For me the small navigation buttons, battery percentage customization, and home button swipe gestures are great features that I really miss in the stock rom. And I never use hands free while on the phone, so AOKP (or rather its port KangXperia) is great for me.

I was hoping to flash phandroid like my phone to look pretty, but use hand free often so no go for me

You may then take a look at stock based ones, but with a few "improvements".
Before I installed AOKP I used TiMiN8R's stock, rooted and deodexed, and it worked very well.

Cuz i want to wipe my data.. is that possible??

cuz i found the ThaiDais one.. but i want the official without any changes..

My torrent is a deodexed but unchanged version with PhilZ Kernel (technical nearly identical to eybee's deodexed.
For the official you should use the download from sammobile.com and install it with PC Odin. Maybe there are links to torrents for this in the General forum too - but I didn't make one. You have to search there for it.
Why not use one of the new Custom Roms for XXLSZ?

official roms are odexed and lot of mods cannot be applied to it. as ThaiDai said.. its almost identical

No, I will not explain every definition of a word. You are in a developer forum, so please read and search a little bit yourself.
If you do not want to do this (ok for me) then you should stay on an unrooted and odexed Rom from Samsung.
Especially when you "feel" that the official is better, smooth and bugs-free.
But then I might ask: Why do you visit a developer forum where Custom Roms are made?
Many members here use CR, so I think it is a hint that you can try yourself and maybe stability and features of these handmade Roms will convince you.

Best ROM on Optimus L7?

There aren't that many, the only ones I have seen are Simple blues (can't find any feedback for it), there is also CM which I am currently using, and a few others that don't have screenshots and english information. I want to try something else because music on CM is low as hell and the random reboots get annoying, what would you recommend?

This is not a constructive post. Comparing ROM's and the dev's is not a good thing.

Not only is it not a good thing but it is prohibited here in XDA to compare roms. The mods will definitely close this thread soon.
To the OP, you should read the thread of the rom and search in general section there are already lots of threads like this. And all was shut down by forum mods but you can still read the reviews/comments.
My advice: Read, read and read. Even if you think you have read enough, just keep reading.

I think this thread can help s advance users in a way..
Everybody has there views. People use what works best, if this thread gives a little knowledge in that means. Then that's good.
Comparing ROMS n DEV's is totally diff thing. Few devs of not so popular ROM n modify to request immediately, n devs of best ROM r hidden God. So I feel it's not the point here. It can b a little helpful thread n that's what this forum is bout, increasing knowledge, atleast I feel so.
Rest moderators knows the best..

Sorry if anybody hurt because of this post. I have tested all this 15 roms. I am not hardcore android develper, i am basically wed deveopler but i wanted to try every available rom for my device and wanted to stay in touch with this new development. I am tracking nearly all in I9070 section for long time and keep testing everything. I bricked my phone more than 10 times but i learned a lot. But i know many testers visit this site , try 1 or 2 popular roms and when this roms not works upto there expectation or keep crashing they stop testing and return to stock . I just wanted to give those many persons like me this available options and want there reviews on this different roms. I have given links to all roms so they can download them. Many ROMs are very good but not popular or neglected. So please post your reviews only after testing them.

There is no point of comparing devs or ROMs. People use what is best. Xperia z ultra is far superior dan GS4. But that doesn't mean that GS4 is bad. This is just a kind of review. I am very satisfied with Light JB 1.2 except few minor bugs.

Just to know that mods do not like comparing threads. Do not think so that those users that commended here atacking you. Look all over xda, those kind of threads are being locked.
It would be World war 3 if someone posted Android vs iOS.

Dear Sir,
I never wanted to criticize any rom , i just wanted to help other visitors and testers to find available roms and i want them to test this roms . All roms listed above are very nice but some of them are vastly neglected , i thought this post might help those roms to become popular and which might lead us to perfect rom for our beloved galaxy S-advanced. Many developers stopped there development and or concentrating other project just because there rom is not popular. I never thought this will hurt others . Putting that poll along with this post is my biggest mistake

Hey...is the stable build of the cyanogenmod available yet? Cant wait to flash it.iv used jellymod before and it was nice except the performance was a little less compared to stock.can anyone tell when the cyanogenmod will be done?

CM rule: No ETA's. With that being said, current nightly of cm10.1 is good and can be used as daily driver if you don't mind:
1. Wifi tether and wifi direct not working.
2. Blurry image and video hangs on latest youtube (the app fault not the rom, you have to use older version of youtube and it works fine).
3. Camera bug in instagram (but just take the pic first and later edit in instagram and post. I always do that anyway so it doesn't matter at all).
4. Battery issue (can't charge offline).
5. GPS (you hve to calibrate it first then it works just fine).
Choice is yours. :good:

I tried it once...was too laggy and the antutu score came down to 4500 from 7000.I'm now using stock with cocore 7.6 antutu score has gone upto 9200.which one do u suggest? Custom rom or keep using stock?

Hey Friend If You Are Looking For Stable ROM you should Stick To Custom ROM,
For Our Galaxy S Advanced There Is No Official Custom ROM, All ROMS come with Some Bugs.
If You Want New Feature In Your Device You Have To Compromise With Stability.
Some Stock Firmware Based ROM are More Stable Like Galexperia But Don't Come With Much Extra Feature.
CM10.0 Is Now Very Much Developed and stable.
Diegio working hard on CM10.1 and I M Sure He Will Release Final Version Very Soon. Untill now 21/06 is more stable than others according to me.

SO guys ,as we know 4.4 official custom roms of paranoid android ,cm11,omnirom(feature complete),Aokp etc are still not out.. So i thought lets make a thread as to which rom is everyone currently using till the official roms come out

I am currently on psx rom with psk and i am loving it .. faced no bugs as yet and i definitely find it better than the stock rom because of its various customizations etc .. ..sadly this may be the last public release of the pure speed x rom .. so go check it out ..

These type of threads, including the existing one, aren't really allowed. They're too close to "what's the best".. the only reason we allowed that other one was because of the large amount of threads we were closing with similar topics.. Please continue to use that one.
