Every time I reboot my M7 HTC One with Viperone 6.1.0 it shows a data connections for just a moment, then it drops out and a "Sim Card Inserted" notification pops up where you have to choose your carrier. I've tried full wipe and reinstall 3 times now, as well as removing the sim and rebooting and reinseting several times. I'm upgrading from Viperone 5.8 with the same sim card that has worked fine for a few months now. I'm also using DarkOne theme but I don't think it has anything to do with the issue. The issue is present whether or not I restore my account and apps. Does anyone out there have a suggestions for a fix?
sim card
I had an error stating that my SIM card was a non-verizon SIM card from a diffent phone, then it suddenly started working just fine... I have only been running viper one for a day, and I absolutely love it.
The same issue is present with Viperone 6.2 and 6.2.1. I would love a suggestion for a fix. The next update I'll do another full wipe and install and update if the issue is still present.

my phone was working fine about 2 weeks ago I updated from JF 1.5 adp with jf recovery to CyanogenMod v3.6.7 with recovery 1.3.1
The only problem I had in that time was a random reboot when I was working on setting up the gui on debain.
Last night I went to use my phone and I had no signal so I went to wireless apn's and tried to select T-moblie, but it said my sim card did not support this. I had been using it earlier that day. So I tried a reboot. same error now with the notification that I had no sim card. Tried a wipe still no luck. Any suggestions?
Tried a 2nd t-moblie sim card. and it works fine. tried my sim card in another G1 and got no sim card error. going to the store to have t-moblie replace my sim card.
Hello. Yesterday happened some strange thing. I was playing Trial Bike on my Mini and after I closed it I noticed that my phone had an sim card icon with (!) mark at the notification bar. So it didn`t detect my sim card. Tried rebooting but didn`t help.
So, then I tried to flash to stock 2.3.6 ROM and the SIM was detected. Then I updated back to CM7. Everything worked fine till now. Again my phone does not detect my sim card.
Maybe some one knows a solution how can I fix this?
Thanks.
[EDIT] Found a solution. It was because I enabled "Disable lockscreen" @ CM Settings.
Thanks to this post.
Hello,
I have installed the latest snapshot of CM and everything works fine other than not being able to get mobile service. My IMEI reads unknown and no sim card is detected. I have tried multiple times to wipe and install and still nothing. Any help?
I have about 1 year with my HTC one M7. It was working fine with stock rom, i then changed it to cm 12.1 and it was working great, then i wanted to try viperone and it was working nicely.
A couple of days ago all of a sudden my htc wont recognize the sim card, i'm currently using viperone v9.0.
What i have noticed is that if i boot in safe mode the phone recognizes the sim fine but when i boot normally it doesn't. I have tried wiping everything and installing again, i tried with CM and viperone and i cant get the sim card to work..
Have anyone had this issue with this phone? What could be causing this?
Hello, I was using lineage Os latest nightly when I encountered this issue. I wanted d2w. So I flashed Zurion X. Phone rebooted to TWRP. So I flashed recankut kernel. Phone worked. But I noticed that it started showing no sim card. I tried flashing Lineage Os back and nothing. So I flashed MIUI latest global beta via fast boot. No SIM card issue persists.. Now Im beginning to think that the issue is hardware issue.. I dissembled the phone.. But the sim card connectors seems to be OK for naked eye.. MY phones I will is not affected, neither the baseband.. So I'm out of options now. Can someone suggest me a workaround to bring my phone back to life.
Thanks.
Also it seems that I can make emergency calls.. Which means the radio I working

It was my sim card tray.. The lower right coner of the sim tray was broken and it interfered with the sim card identification mechanism. With a new simple card tray my phone is fixed.
If the SIM card tray is damaged (for example, a piece of plastic is chipped off or a metal plate is deformed), this can be the cause of the problem when the Xiaomi smartphone does not see the SIM card.
I had such a situation on my Mi 3. In the service center they could not find the cause of the problem, I found it myself.
I hope this information will help to somebody.
