Wireless (Miracast) mirroring not working (HDCP error. Sony Bravia TV with NFC)

Guys I'm really sad.
I bought a supernice Bravia TV (KDL42W805) with everything on it. I choose that one expecially for NFC activated mirroring on Xperia Z.
Results:
NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried 2 different routers, tried to reset phone, removed root, updated TV, tried with direct Wi-Fi... Tried EVERYTHING!!!
Always the same error: YOUR TV DOES NOT SUPPORT HDCP, you can use only walkman and movie applications:crying: (as a normal DLNA).
I'm so depressed, the two things should work perfectly!! And the weirdest thing is that I cannot find anything on internet, looks I'm the only one on earth with Xperia Z phone and Bravia TV with wireless mirroring not working.
Help appreciated, thanks!
I Had the same on my Samsung Smart Tv, it's the Tv itself which doesn't support HDCP.
I didn't figured out how to fix it, but on my friends Tv(Sony bravia, don't know which one) it works.

But that TV is specially made for that! You see in the picture on the site the screen of the xperia Z mirrored!!
Today I tried the mirroring in a shop on 2 different TV's.
One was the same I got and the other was a 905.
Same problem.
HDCP error. :crying:

Finally things are clear.
If you unlock the bootloader this will happen.
And seems that even if you relock it and un-root and flash original firm it won't work

Hit thanks if my post helps1
My Xperia ZL has this too. Will CM 10.2 only work? Which ROM are you using that solves this problem?
And is there an possibility to renew partition for 10.4.B.0.569 (4.3) Journalism version!?
EDIT: CM 10.2 and CM 11 is nothing like the beautiful 4.3. Journalism firmware!
Tried both!
Is there a way to add HDCP checking option in Developer Options?! And or build.prop!!

The problem is HDCP. DRM Check!
In Stock there are no fixes. In Custom Roms (some) there are option in Developer options. Have DRM Check (Or something like that, don't remember). .
Im using Stock ROM 4.3 (Xperia ZL). (Journalism version) - This version doesn't have this option! Haven't find option for STOCK ROMS!

#*#*-----~~--DISCLAIMER--~~---*#*#
NOTE 1: DO NOT INCLUDE ANY OF THE MODS IN THIS THREAD IN ROMS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I WILL ONLY ASK ONCE, IT IS MANDATORY THAT YOU PM ME OR NOTIFY ME BEFORE YOU PUT THIS IN YOUR ROM OR OPEN ANOTHER THREAD SOMEWHERE ELSE ON XDA,LAST WARNING. ANY THREADS OPENED WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW WILL BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY!
NOTE 2: It SHOULD work with all Xperia Firmware-Based ROMs, not so sure about AOSP roms as I have a lock bootloader and therefore I cannot try them out. Please do not constantly ask if it will work for a specific rom, Try before you ask.
NOTE 3: PLEASE! FOR YOUR OWN SAFTEY, MAKE A NAND BACKUP FOR YOUR ROM! I WILL NOT BE GIVING INSTRUCTIONS TO UNINSTALL.
NOTE 4: This mod will work for Locked/Unlocked Bootloaders as long as you have a custom recovery.
NOTE 5: The speaker's audio quality becomes worse as you increase volume, this is because our speaker cannot output good audio quality at loud volumes. It is impossible to keep audio quality and loud volume because of out hardware. The HTC One has a dedicated Amp inside it's chipset which amplifies audio better with more sound, that is why new HTC phones can have very loud speaker volume with good speaker audio quality.
NOTE 6: Sometimes, if you play music, it could take a few seconds to let Sound Enhancements load your settings (This is normal)
NOTE 7: If you are on another device and is using Xperia Z version (The updated version of this soundmod and not PureXAudioLITE) Don't be mistaken that all features work, because it just won't. My audio mod is specifically made for the APQ8064 chipset and WCD9310 DAC (MPQ8064 audio too) the features will not ALL work because every device has different hardware/software, even if it install fine, not all features will work. Don't get confused.
NOTE 8: I advise everyone to go onto XZDualRecovery as it's the only recovery (As I am aware of) which has native init.d installed directly in it's ramdisk just so you can use the init.d scripts in my mod. (Only applies to locked bootloaders)
NOTE 9: If you are having audio skipping issues, make sure that you exclude: Walkman (If you have 2 Walkman apps, select the second one), PureXAudio Engine and MusicFX in STAMINA Mode so that the phone will not try and make it inactive. If you have Skipping in any other music player, add that in the exclude list of Stamina mode.
NOTE 10: Hearing impairment is caused by volumes higher then 85dB as stated in Wiki "If one is exposed to loud sound (including music) at high levels or for extended durations (85 dB A or greater), then hearing impairment will occur." If you feel uncomfortable when hearing music, I strongly advise you to either turn down the volume or have a rest.
NOTE11: I repeat again, This thread is approved by ZeroInfinity and I can post a new thread and continue developing this mod, SO IF YOU WANT TO INCLUDE THIS MOD ON ANY ROM PLEASE ASK FOR MY PERMISSION!
NOTE12: Since I sold my Xperia Z today, This version (V30) will be the last version to Android 4.4.4, starting for the next version, this mod will need the tester to test the compatibility and it would be taking a long time to each version releases. Thanks for the support to all of you
Enjoy the Last version!

Hi
In Stock Rom .101 have the same
asked over xperia z, same content...
Code:
global_configuration {
attached_output_devices AUDIO_DEVICE_OUT_SPEAKER|AUDIO_DEVICE_OUT_EARPIECE
default_output_device AUDIO_DEVICE_OUT_SPEAKER
attached_input_devices AUDIO_DEVICE_IN_BUILTIN_MIC|AUDIO_DEVICE_IN_VOICE_CALL
}
Reference: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/help/audiopolicy-conf-t2745800
edit: there seems to be a "2nd mic" or "back mic" issue for some xperia devices...
compare between different /etc/audio_policy.conf
Nexus 4 / mako (same CPU)
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_lge_mako/blob/cm-11.0/audio_policy.conf
Xperia Z / yuga
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr.../cm-10.2/rootdir/system/etc/audio_policy.conf
Xperia ZR / dogo
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/andr.../cm-10.2/rootdir/system/etc/audio_policy.conf
where is our back/2nd mic???
strange, just checked Z1 (honami)'s config, same... but obviously there's a 2nd mic...
BAFFLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. reason why i keep asking is that, when revert to stock (forgot which version), video record has normal volume, but in cm/fxp, it's not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is now the final update for this MOD - it is now complete and will not be updated any further (unless for Android M when/if released)
Thanks bro for the great work..Everything is just working great
Almost got deaf by that boom patch
Looking fine, maybe I'll give it a go when I have time.
Could we get any screenshots?
Are the speakers any louder when playing music?
Thanks!
i am coming from another sound mod and after flashing your mod it seems like there was no difference for me at all. Even changing the equalizer doesn't do a thing to the audio.
Any idea on how to make your mod work?

This will not be compatible with any other sound mods.. if you had any installed before flashing this then I would not expect it to work..
You are best off flashing this on a clean stock install.
Thanks for the mod but I got this "error"...how can I uninstall it?

Just request... Can you mod for existenz to... Thanks...
Thanks for this mod.
I have installed it this afternoon and all seems to work great, no errors have occurred.
Call sound is a lot better
Speaker volume is louder and fuller.
The headphones sound "more filtered" and very different than before, I'm playing around with equaliser settings but I find it hard to get a clear and balanced sound.
Could you please explain more about the boomsound integration ?
I don't see any settings or other trace of what it does?
Did not get any errors yet.
But i am not really pleased with the audio quality. Before I used the eq by shuffle player (which sounds really natural and balanced). Now I cannot use it anymore because there's a lot of crisps. Can't add really bass to it.
With the Sony-eq it sounds a bit better bit still really crispy.

just reflash ROM you use without wipes.
does anyone know which values from the mixer_paths.xml deals with the external volume speakers (when playing music, ringtone, speaker phone, etc) because I want to lower those values manually. the reason is that I have one defective speaker and it makes strange noises when I take the volume over ~60%ish.
I already tried to lower some values, but apparently I can't see any differences.
@pricey2009 your help would be much appreciated :d

Try the attached zip below, this will set the volumes to default for you
@pricey2009 I don't want to set them to defaults, I want to lower those values even more
Update to v3
Now updated to V3 + Boom Mode v2
Added some new bits including extra in-call clarity
Have cleaned up the mod overall and I have tried to eliminate any problems with storage showing low, skippy videos etc that people were having
Please test and provide feedback..
Enjoy
