OK this is a very functional and smooth AOKP ROM probably the best I've seen yet the only thing that I displease is the density but that can be very easily changed so hats off to you dev amazing work keep it up!!!
I'm gonna try this...seems like we got new devs emerging out for our device... Keep it up bro @TrueFriend-cz

This is a really smooth ROM , I've been using it for a while.
One thing bothers me though. You have not given any credit to @kecinzer
XperiaZ / DirtyUnicorns / Rojak.Kernel / BlackedOutApps
Kecinzer rom have many bugs. If create folder on MicroSD then add special characters. Network switcher 2G/3D no as 2G only/3G only, but as 2G only/3G preferred, etc.

I am dev no user. My analyse is detailed and free time is not use for speculations. It is facts, no is for speculations. Kecinzer rom have bugs. 1. Add bad chars to name if create new folder on ext card. Solution is change Kernel: Kernel is from China, great is battery long life and smoothly rom, but problem with characters and etc. 2. Build have problem with switching network. My way is technical solutions, no social solutions or social steps. Technical is based on true, social maybe false and wars state. I don't use wars states. Please respect this. Thanks
I select kecinzer ROM for best solutions ROM and bugs is minimal.

Last build have problem with mpdecision and no 100% ideal and stability. Mpdecision dont can enable = battery very drain. Version beta1 is based on rom kecinzer prelast version - this version without problem mpdecision, lags, etc.
Now no one have mp decision error..beacuse cm fixed it 3 days before..its due to the selinux policy and aokp also merged it into git...so mpdecsion error was gone for ever in all roms..
Sent from my Xperia Z using Tapatalk
yup. This ROM based on AOKPk ROM. Last version AOKPk is 2014-05-01... This version have problem with mpdecision. If kecinzer update ROM then update sg4 ROM, or select other, newer ROM.

Dev: noun short for developper ie one who develops ie submits fix . Gerrit would be the way to submit fix github would be another ..
If a dev has a solution he should submit it. If not out of respect he shouldnt comment.
Credits are missing in the op .. to aokp and to the original maintainers

I would like to see more information about your "Chinese" kernel.
Toledo_JAB said:
GNU General Public License, version 2
Kernel Developers:
In order to be fully GPL compliant, your sources must:
Successfully build and produce a valid output file, which is the same format as provided in the binary
Contain all source code, interface definition files, scripts used to control compilation and installation of the executable (it is not required to include the actual compiler/toolchain, but sufficient information should be made available to obtain the SAME configuration, including compiler flags, as used to build the binary version as released)
ROM Developers:
If your ROM uses custom boot.img the source must be provided.
If the kernel you are using was created by someone else, you must link to their source.
If your ROM contains a stock kernel, source must still be linked - ie; link to the OEM source page.
Using a non GPL compliant kernel makes your ROM non compliant and subject to removal.
Here is an example of how your kernel sources should appear in your development thread's OP (original post):
My Awesome Kernel:
Source: android_kernel_sony_msm8x60 - Linked directly to where your source is located, ie; github, bitbucket
Compiler: Linaro GCC 4.8 ToolChain - Link not nessacery but is helpul.
Branch: Android 4.2.2
Kernel Version: 3.10

It's the same, but apparently this guy here made a thread with the wrong name...it should be MoKee OpenSource, not Mokee OS ...no wonder I can't find it...I check for existing ones before posting...well this thread will be the official one then...he didn't create/involve in it so can't post in original development...but I can......you know why...

Very nice ROM!
Have one problem though...
I checked for OTA Update now. It found something, 2014251033-201401261006-nightly. It downloaded it, and when i clicked to install my phone said it would reboot and do the update. If not I would have to manually do it. Ok, said and done - rebooted tried to update but an error came up. Same thing happens if i manually install the update.
Kernel:3.0.64 mokee g5d4643c mokee @buildbot #1 Sat jan 25
Rom: yesterday's version
recovery: cwm based recovery v 6 .0 47
Error: /system/priv-app/calendarprovider.apk has unexpected contents
E:Error in /storage/sdcard0/mkupdater/ota-mk44.2 - n7000 ....... nightly.zip

Can you tell me what the problem is?
What if I say no? Lol, just kidding...
It could be caused by two reasons:
a) Gapps (/system/app/Provision.apk, /system/app/CalendarProvider.apk etc has unexpected contents.)
b) system files are modified (this includes flashing a custom kernel which replaces system files)
To solve:
1. Format /system (or else old gapps will be restored)
2. Flash full ROM
3. Flash OTA
4. Flash gapps from MoKee Centre
Future updates will be working...unless you are still using a custom kernel, where you must flash back the full ROM or restore the specific files if you know how...

did you used zenconcepts 's cm builds in the cm thread. they seem to fix wifi.
here is what you suppose to do...to mostly fix wifi
1.in your build.prop add following line at the end.
Code:
net.tcp.buffersize.wifi=4096,221184,3461120,4096,221184,3461120
2. in your file maanger (give file manager root access in general settings >>exit>>and restart the file manager)in the root folder there is a file name
init.zetaw.rc

All,
The ROM is still in BETA and by flashing it you are helping the BETA Testing process
It may still have some bugs, spontaneously reboot, drain the battery faster or heat up a bit. The aim is to make it better and fix them.
If you find a bug and want to report it here please post a logcat (after it occurred) with a description of what you were doing at the time and the rough timing in the logcat to look at (these things get huge!).
You can also post a dmesg which is the kernel boot logs and can indicate issues with data corruption or hardware.
If you get a reboot then please post a last_kmsg from the /proc folder.
How to get a logcat
How to get useful logs

Thanks. I have downloaded it.
Mako's kernel 5.1 update incoming:

I will try to make an updated Zombi-pop build before the week-end.
Does this rom have middle lock screen shortcuts? CM12 theme engine?

There are 2 mirrors, so you mean neither of them work for you ??

Do not download from android, do from a PC ....

Good to see this thread up as a lot of hard work has gone into this Not from me I might add!
Such is life.

Will upload a new build with 5.1 kernel by tomorrow, stay tuned
Thank you for this, install went smooth...trying it out now. :good:
current build installed without gapps:
- start preinstalled terminal emulator -> fc
- swype text aosp keyboard -> fc (without google swype lib, swyping should be disabled by default)
browsing seems to be faster with browser2ram enabled.
im am curios how this will affect battery life. i will test and report.
very cool installer.
for now its (regarding missing in-rom features) exactly the same state as the omnirom build is.
so hope there will be some features in the future.
thanks in advance and for your time already !!

Commotio
Commotio B-105
Commotio VS Vanir:
Commotio is DHO's take on Vanir. Different UI, scripts, and often testing new features that may be merged into Vanir.
They are 100% compatible and users can pick their favorite. Commotio can be thought of as bleeding edge testing ground for new features and optimizations which may or may not make their way into Vanir
Donate to: DHO - Team Vanir
Follow on G+: Team Vanir
Commotio + Vanir Features:
- Multiple Devices
- Based on CM13 nightlies
Debloated
- All inclusive ~180 MB –> 60 MB of Bloat removed
- Fully featured LatinIME Keyboard, but only 2.2 MB (normally 16-20 MB), removed tracking/logging
- And soo much more
Butter
- Compiled with linaro keychain.
- Optimized with linaro 4.8
- GCC 4.8 w/ -O3 -fstrict-aliasing AKA highly optimized compiling for better results (like Linaro)
- Vanir.cfg – Set your CPU frequencies, colors, ZRAM, and much more. Set and once and forget; it stays on your SD card
- DHOtheory: Sets up the kernel/ROM the way I like it, then self destructs on first boot, so you can change it later
- Go-faster Axiom scripts
- Vanirice – makes everything just a bit smooth
- For every 1 user settings there are 5 power saving + performance tweaks tweaks
Gapps
- Included. See my Gapps post for further details.

IMPORTANT
Currently SuperSU has issues, so kindly don't flash that and access root by enabling developer options by tapping multiple times on build number in about device and then enabling root access from there.
Flashing this right NOW, very excited. Exactly what I've been waiting for!
Note to anyone looking to flash the kltevzw variant: the 7 April official vanir build does not look like it has picked up my proprietary files change. It may boot, but definitely won't have radio until they pull it over from CM.

So that commit will hit the next attempted build, but their vendor_samsung repo hasn't had the changes pulled over yet. The nightlies will fail to compile until that happens.
I'll reach out to give them a heads up after finishing changing the oil in my trucks.

Tried this rom last night on a full clean wipe of my phone, couldn't get past it detecting if i had a sim card or not (which I did). It would just boot loop

Its the toolchain and scripts which are used to build it. Its more performance focused instead of new features. Install it and then compare to to cm 13 on your device and you'll notice the difference.

If its in CM13 then it is present in this too.
New builds are up for commotio based on latest CM13 changes and Android 6.0.1 _r30.
Silly question but I use to use vanir ages ago and was mad with features like is this like that or just CM with speed mods/ kernel mods? also cm theme engine is it available or layers?

I see a download for Verizon but just wanted to double check I'm on cm currently so this is safe to flash correct? Does the kernel allow oc modifications?

Its like CM but only essential CM features the rest is AOSP with tool chain optimizations and other debloating and optimizing scripts. You can install it and notice the difference for yourself.

Yes, the latest versions are OK to flash. Don't flash any older builds because they don't have essential files for VZW. The kernel is stock CM.
