How did you remove the apps? Did you delete the .apk's directly or did you use Titanium Backup?
I deleted the apks

Deleting the APK in the /system/app location doesn't delete the app only the APK file which allows the system to load it during the bootup processes. You must use Titanium Backup to delete or freeze a app that the stock system loads up. Also you must be rooted in order to use Titanium Backup.
Question... If I freeze them can I update via ota down the road... I just tried to update to .905 and it could because I deleted apk

nope you would have to unfreeze those apps to update when a OTA comes around
If you already rebooted then maybe it is under data/app as well.
Hey I'm going to flash the pacman Rom, but I have important sms conversations I would like to keep. Is there an app that works great to back up all messages? And as for apps I am using titanium backup pro to the ad card.

You can also use carbon app for backup. I like it very much as it allows us to backup all data with app in a single click and takes a single click only to restore.
So after installing rom, just select all apps for restore and click restore. It will install all the apps one by one by itself and wont ask for every single app to install seperately!!

go and download this apps and all apps backup on your sd card https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en
without root on your mobile :good:
TB will be the best option. With pro you can also backup to Dropbox or Google Drive services

Hi
I tried searching for a noob help thread to post this but couldn't find one.
I just installed a custom Rom (trickdroid) and I want to restore all my homescreen pages and shortcuts the way they were. It's the same stock launcher and I have a backup of all the user and system apps using titanium, so I'm sure I just need to restore one of the system apps but I don't know which one. Can anyone help?

Hey I know we don't have an unlocked bootloader yet, but since we're rooted, is there an alternate way to do nandroid backups? Don't wanna have to redo EVERYTHING on my note 3 if I have to reboot or get a new phone

The best thing you can do at this point is use Titanium Backup or a similar app. Nandroid backups isn't possible just yet that I am aware of.
