Losing root after reboot - Xperia Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm facing some small problem with my Xperia.
I own this device for 4 days, so please consider me noob (only for this device).
So I've unlocked my bootloader, rooted the phone and installed CWM, but the problem is that it is losing root after every reboot (I have to flash SuperSu libraries each time to fix it).
I've seen a thread about this, how to re-root my phone, however I can't find it anymore.
Could You help me to root my phone permanently?

Flash a pre-rooted 4.3 rom is better

Yeah, I know that's the way but I kind of don't want to change my ROM now, as I would have to set up everything (I know I can leave data, but it may cause FC's).
I also tried existenZ ROM, but it was slower.
I've found some thread about this fix, but it didn't work

Hi,
I have the problem with à Samsung Galaxy i9305. :

[Q] information and help with root

Hi!
Just received my Z1 and really want to root it so I have a couple of questions.
- what is the danger with rooting Z1? Other than the possibility to brick the phone.
- is there any bugs if I root the phone but stay at stock rom? I've read that if you use custom bootloader the camera won't and so on.
- if I root the phone does anyone know how to hide the soft keys? Want to use all my screen.
- can anyone recommend the safest guide / way to root the phone?
- is there any other problems with rooting the phone that I should know about? I have been using an HTC 3d until now which was rooted and I used a lot of custom roms so have experience from that phone but
I wounder if there is any other things with this phone
Thanks in advance!

1) None, you cannot brick by rooting
2)No bugs with rooting, unlocking bootloader is different to root
3)Use full screen apps of xposeds Framework and modules (Search on xda for xposed framework)
4)Read the rooting guides in this forum, they are all safe. Or just use this

settings and personal data remain, but you will lose root and there is no way to root the new firmware yet
How come that it is not possible to root the new firmware?
Too bad, have to stick to the old firmware for a good time then probably?

For rooting your phone just install any prerooted rom like nut;s rom or existenz
There is also another way of rooting but for that you need to unlock your bootloader so i think the above method of flashing pre rooted roms is easier
I dont have any problems with my bluetooth headset

problems after root

Well, since I rooted my xsp it seems to have lots of lags but those lags start after using the phone for a while and opening a few applications. Then it usually goes slower and slower until it completely crashes and reboot automatically or I reboot.
I also noticed that ram is getting full for no reason and as I said above, before it completely crashes it is trying to open the settings and then needs reboot.
Maybe I need to unroot? Just know that I unlocked the bootloader and rooted correctly without problems if it matters.

How can I do that? I don't want to root it with another kernel. Ι prefer to unroot if it's possible but I don't know how.

Root cannot affect your phone's performance, because all it does is give you root priviliges (acces to the system itself). I don't think unrooting will solve anything

Then what should I do? I need to reboot my phone about 3 times per day..
Maybe I need to relock the bootloader? Is that even possible?

If bootloader unlocked, PCC or SUS will not recognise your phone, so relock first. OR you can flash another kernel with better RAM management. Are you using Doomlord's kernel?
May be a solution

Hi !
I've experienced such sort of problems. I was on stock 4.3, I've unlocked the bootloader, install a Doomlord kernel (CWM) with flashtool.
I thought installing a custom rom (Advance XPERIA v1.2) will solve the problem, but it didn't ...:crying:
In desperation, I thought going back to a stock kernel.
To do this, I've download a full firmware (ftf), and with flashtool, I've flashed the firmware in flashmode but with these options :
_ Wipe: all unchecked
_ Exclude : all checked but kernel
_ Misc : all unchecked.
Reboot : no more recovery, but I haven't lost root, Titanium Backup doesn't complain, Terminal su remount -o remount,rw /system work, root browser Ok, ...
I've past the last two hours trying to make the phone laggy and instable, without success
Games, Album, Google Photo, Google Play music, switch fastly settings, camera with effects ...
Only the time will tell me if this is working ...
Sorry for my poor english...
Fred.
PS: The very last DoomLord kernel (v5) seems to suffer from the same problem about the RAM ...

The problem is that now i want to update to android lollipop, and i dont have idea what to do. I dont know did i need to unroot firstly then update, or just update. But if i need unroot, did these applied things like changed fonts/buttons apearance did not cause some bugs, bricks without changing back them to stock and unrooting? Becouse these functions need root, and i want to unroot without changing them to stock, becouse i dont have idea where i can get them. Damn... Hi bro
to install LP you dont need change ane thing in your current rom
to flash LP every thing will be wiped (all data and phone partition get formated ) but you just have to be aware your phone is LB or UN: if your phone bootloader is unlocked then your not able to update via xperia update
wene ever flash roms via flashtool is preference:good:

Did after update will be everythink clear? Did these changed buttons will not cause bugs?
I have changed them with SoftKeyZ app, who require root, and i dont have stock buttons
To change back. And another question, did i need to unroot before apply android 5 lollipop? I have firmware update of it, so i need just apply it, but i am scarred.

OTA - Over The Air - Type of update, means you download it directly on your phone and it updates, without the need of PC.
Recommended: Backup everything - Clean Install (via pc companion or flashtool) - install whatever you want
Second - chances of bricking by just updating to lollipop in your case are minimal, however backup first so you can restore in case of a disaster.

Yes, of course , with an unlocked bootloader it is really easy.
With a locked bootloader however the only possible way is to root it with Kingroot (chinese app), and then replace it with SuperSu.
Have fun!

Fix Wakelock without root (my usb flex is broken!)

Hi
I have an 920i Note 5. My usb is broken so I can't connect to the pc. I noticed that my phone never goes deep sleep. Always cpu sets in 400mhz. So, I tried to deactivate Google Account Sync, and some packages using the Package Disabler. The problem is that I cant fix it. Tried to clear cache, format data, etc. But the deep sleep never fixes. It uses more battery when it is with the screen turned off, that in the inverse way.
Somebody can give me any hint?
Thanks!

Have you rooted your device or Running stock from beginning? If your device is rooted already i.e to flash custom roms or kernels etc and now you have reverted back to stock thats why facing deep sleep issue theb here is solution by dr.ketan
**Your device must be rooted to use this deep sleep fix patch comes as .apk, it will not work on stock firmware without root as it needs supersu root access**

You have to root your device again and apply deep sleep fix if you want to overcome that issue..And original usb of Samsung is not that much expensive i.e you can't afford it..If your phone's usb port is broken then it might be costly..By the way once you rooted ypur device, knox get tripped and you will face huge battery drain after reverting back to stock..So the solution i have provided already..Refer suggested thread and you will come to know everything regarding rooting, deep slip..

Right, that's the problem. My USB port is broken. I have already bought the spare part, but it will take one month or more to arrive. So, now I have my note with no possible connection to PC so I can use Odin, to root and get the deep sleep issue fixed. There's no way to root without using Odin? Just my phone and Wi-Fi adb or something?

I didn't find any one click root method i.e. rooting without pc using apk like kingroot or kingoroot or one click root apk..But it depends on which version your running, if 5.0.1 then you might get rooted with apk and if 6.0.1 i don't think one click root is available..But still you can google it 'how to root Samsung galaxy note 5 running marshmallow without using pc'

Yeah, I've tried that, but didn't work. I suppose I have to wait for the spare part and fix mypport.
