Sometimes when I switch off bluetooth, it causes my phone to reboot. It only happens when I'm turning off bluetooth—it's very annoying.
My phone is C5306 and Android 4.3/build 12.1.A.0.266.
Anyone ever have this issue? Thanks for your help.

Anyone has the same issue ?
I am having the same problem. My push is delayed by a few minutes when using wifi.
This started after the update. I have reset the phone and still the problem is there. At the same time as this problem appearing i got a problem with the stock weather widget. This doesn't update when i am on wifi only on mobile data.
Im thinking they are related. Did you find you have any problems with the stock weather widget not updating whilst using wifi?
Anyone else having this problem?
Yep
I've had my notifications, particularly SMS turn up DAYS later. Never had the issue before the XZ, but I'll have to put the Wifi issue to the test and see if that's causing the effect.
Nexus 4 has the same problem, it's a kernel issue iirc

It has to do with the wifi settings.
With the old firmware I had the same problem, but with .253 my problems are solved.
I do use a custom kernel tho, but I also did with the previous fw.

For me, my experience is the reverse! It worked well (as far as I could tell) with the old .350 fw, and only started on .253 (I skipped 434),
And now on a custom ROM based on 253 still the same too.
Which kernel do you run?>

I have the same problem too. Started noticing after .253 update
In my case push notifications are delayed regardless on wifi or 3G
Hi all, I just found a problem with my XZ and don't know if it's been reported by others or is it just me.
I'm currently on .307 firmware. When I manually restart my XZ with my wifi on and stamina mode on, I can't get the dialer to function after the XZ turns on. When I try to call, only a blank black screen is shown. The dialer only start when I turn the wifi off. After that, I can turn on wifi again.
The situation is reproducible on my XZ. Can anyone confirm if it's a firmware related bug or...?
Forgot to mention that I'm on stock 307 fw without root.

No problem for me.

Then it's possibly only me, maybe it's about time to swipe my XZ.

Hello
I was running cm10.1.3 with wwjb kernel for some time and i didnt have problems until now.
It started on the wi-fi: When i turn it on it keeps turning on for ever and it's unable to be turned on, the icon keeps searching for a network in a loop. so as bluetooth.
I've reflashed the original 20A kdz to stock jb to solve this with a full wipe but the problem still remains. I've also removed the external sd and simcard. still dont work. sometimes the settings menu just shuts down and says that it stopped working due to wifi trying to turn on.
what should i do? is it an hardware problem?
thanks :good:

it just happens sometimes. wifi is working now, for instance. the error that im talking about happens when i open the wifi in settings: it freezes the phone and then a small box appears in the middle of the screen saying :"we are sorry, the settings have been disrupted" and then it closes.
Are you using a custom kernel? If not your hardware might be damaged, considering you had the same issue on both stock & CM roms.

i'm running Iodak 8.5 kernel. Sometimes wifi works, sometimes it doesnt. very weird imo.
Whats up people,
I'm experiencing some wierd stuff with my Z1. Recently when I press the power button to light up the screen it doesn't respond and the screen stays black, this happens quite often and it's getting really annoying! Another thing is that the screen/notification led is very slow to light up when I connect the charger.
Anyone else experiencing this or have any idea of what could cause it?

I've same problem. Well, this case only happened when I convert video or music, when the process is running and the screen go off, it will become unresponsive. Perhaps kernel trying to sync memory, IDK. How's yours? How did it happen?

Have you tried to reflash and wipe data? I'm afraid it's hardware issue.

Definitely try a reset, My girlfriends xperia zl will so that the odd time but not very often.
Try a soft reset first (Power button, volume down) if it still occurs, Go throught and try Installing your rom again (reset partition and cache only) If worst comes to worst do a full factory reset
Hi all, Im running the latest leankernel 1.8 with stock 5.0.1 ROM. After long periods of deepsleep the WiFi will turn itself off, and wont reconnect until i turn the screen on. (eg: after sleeping for the night, when i turn the screen on in the morning, the wifi is off, then reconnects after a few seconds). I don't have any of the battery saving features turned on, and the wifi is set to "always on" in advanced wifi settings. I've searched Google and XDA and come up with nothing. I cant be the only person this is happening to. I have 3 other phones and 3 other tablets, none of which have the same issue. Has anyone run into this problem on their nexus 6? Any help or ideas/ opinions at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Anyone?

I've run into this exact issue. Even happens on 5.1.1
Did you ever end up figuring out the issue. I feel like it might be app related rather than an Android issue.

Never figured it out. Only happens on nexus6. I use wifi keepalive app, seems to do the job without impacting battery.
