Just return it to your seller. The contract of sales lies with the seller, not for you to send it to the manufacturer. I fully drained the battery of my bricked S3 mini before sending it back to Amazon (my seller) and they never found out it was rooted

But when that happends kies gives u a code, then u connect it again and u can do an emergency rescue or something like that :S
Then let's consider power failure and PC turn-off
Like someone already said just send it to samsung service and with an inocent face say "I dont know what happened, it just never turned back on " and they cant find out the real reason it bricked so they will fix it

i have a samsung galaxy note(GT-N7000) and it was working fine until
i accidentally flashed a samsung Galaxy SII STOCK firmware on it from Odin the flasing completed successfully but the device is with a black screen does not boot to download mode or recovery mode.
Please i need a solution
Have you tried a battery pull? Leave battery out of Note for about two-to-three minutes. Then try booting into recovery mode again?
Are you using volume up+ home then hold power until you get welcome screen for recovery?
If you have a backup from when you first got your note, try download mode - volume down + home then hold power until you get the welcome splash screen.
Still Not Working!!!

i tried but it will not boot at all no recovery mode no download mode
But it was working before i accidentally flash SII Firmware
is there a way to flash back the note firmware without going to download mode because the device will not boot
Help!!!
Please Reply Devolopers
While your Note is connected to PC Odin, try to get into download mode (vol down + home + power) then vol up, until you see there is connection in Odin (COM:ID turns yellow). Hopefully you still have 'life' there but just no screen/sound. Once you have that, flash a Note's firmware.
Sorry to say mate but your next and the only step is nearest samsung service center! :-(

2. Insert batery
3. Hold down volume key + home key + power key for 15s to 20s
4. Press volume up key
5. Open Odin
6. connect your phone to pc

After complete your phone can boot to download mod and you must flash original rom for galaxy note by download form www.sammobile.com
Good luck.
Wrong flash file
Happend to me to because av samfirmware´s system to list other phones firmware under the categorie "Latest Firmware" after searching for N7000....not good at all.
Of course i should have read more careful but after flashing cells since a few years back i did not think i could fall for that ;-)
So flashing the bootloader helped me back on track, got the screen back and started over with original fw. Thanks for the tip!

Wow dude.
This worked for me to.
I wanted to flash a Rom but it did not work.
So i flashed back to stock Rom that i downloaded from sammobile.
This resulted in a black screen. Flashed a earlier version...still black screen.
But i noticed that the phone worked normally accept the screen was black.
I tried a few thing's until i found this. Genius!
Thanks for sharing dude.
Hmm i tried the steps mentioned, I think i managed to flash the original n7000 firmware and rom, but unfortunately i still see black screen. I can hear the starting tone of samsung while booting up thought, so my system is still working, jz the screen is not. Oh boy, could that be hardware issue then? Anyone knows how to check?

Try getting it to recovery mode by pressing Home + power button..
And if it does, then format it!
If not, try download mode by home + power + vol down/up (I don't remember )
If it goes there flash it with a new firmware

WELL IF ITS NOT GOTTA GOIN TO RECOVERY OR DOWNLOAD MODE...THEN YOU MAY BE SURE THAT IT IS HARBRICKED...
IN THAT CASE I SUGGEST YOU SHOULD SAY BYE-BYE to YOU SGM..
There is something you can do...
I've got the same thing this morning... I went to a local service with it and they said that on Monday they will send it to another service to fix it.
If you do that, don't tell them you have root, etc. Just tell them the phone isn't booting anymore.
Please help. I am really desperate. My Galaxy Note is stuck on setup.
WHAT I HAVE DONE
Previous ROM:
Avatar ROM; Latest
Flashed, by CWM:
XXLSZ_Stock_deodexed_rooted_eybee1970.zip (SINGTEL, SINGAPORE)
SPEED
Utacka-soft-keys-disable-hw-n7000.zip
CrossBreeder_7.2.13.zip
speedmod-kernel-n7000-jb-k5-5-CWM.zip
PLEASE PLEASE ASSIST ME.... I JUST WANTED TO UNROOT BUT THIS HAPPENED! I DO NOT WANT TO FREAKING USE MONEY TO FIX MY STUPID ASS HOME BUTTON, unless that is the final solution....
Any help will be appreciated.
Are you able to get into download mode using volume down+power+home button?

It seems you already have CWM installed & copy of custom ROM ... good one
Hold down "Volume UP key + Power Key + Home Key" all together and see if you can go into recovery mode
Once there you need to do a factory reset, clear cache and install the ROM as fresh.
It always works for me

I decided to try the the rom provided by Null, but I can not get into recovery mode for my life.Held power button, but pressing it again 5 after power off screen, does nothing.
It will either open svoice or back to clock.....
Just a note, I tried rooting yesterday and did all the steps but explorer never gives me the option to have access to everything, so probably, not rooted yet. Don't know why.
I just got the gear yesterday and been playing with it.
Used an older version of manager and got it to connect to my S4 for now with limited functionality....
So I don't know if I am missing anything, if it's region specific or what, any help would be appreciated..
Any other way to get o recovery mode for now ?
UPDATE : DONE! not as simple as guide, thanks to someone that posted detailed instructions I did it. Thanks

sorry, was answered in the other thread, never thought to paste it here...There you go : (from another guy that posted the help)
"Step 1ress and hold power button for 2 secs
Step 2:Tap restart
Step 3:Tap ok
Step 4:Immediately hold the power (you will see the Samsung emblem with a blue halo)
Step 5:Release the power button when you see the Samsung Galaxy Gear with "rebooting" underneath
Step 6:Immediately rapidly press the power button 5-12 times until the next screen appears "Select boot mode"
Step 7ress power button once to change to Download.
Step 8ress and hold the power button on desired selection to choose and enter the selected mode
"
All these steps are way too complicated but it's awesome you guys have figured it out though but I find it easier to just add reboot download
