Damn.. you are right about this drain, I use amplify + Greenify (both donated) and its not helping with the drain.
But besides that the rom seems very stable and smooth

You're not suffering from the Google Play Services problem (where SystemUpdateService keeps a device from entering deep sleep state) are you?
Having read the following thread on Reddit:

Apparently CM based ROMs do some hacky things to disable it (the Cyanogen people are working on the problem though) and that causes it to keep a device awake.
I'm currently using Boot Shell by @gh0stslayer
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kislay.bootshellcommand
to run the command:
pm enable com.google.android.gms/.update.SystemUpdateService
at boot, some people also immediately disable it, not sure what that achieves but it still allows deep sleep.

LOL I don't but how you did it ? You booted into recovery with " fastboot boot recovery.img" then flashed the rom +gapps ?

Gonna try this ROM since its AOSP based.. Having few issues with CM beta, will wait for the bugs to be fixed by devs.. Until then testing Validious ROM would be my task... Thanks dev..

you will same bugs as cyanogenmod as bugs are of device trees btw its cm based they mentioned aosp based as cm aosp based i just copied op of someone edited that .. :good:

Flashes fine but after optimizing the apps it gets stuck on the starting apps screen. Did a clean install and tried different recoveries. Problem is also present on all the 8gb versions of other roms. I wonder what could be the culprit?

Nope ..... First I've rooted my device via side loading a custom recovery. Then I've flashed TWRP Via Flashify

Seems problem in 8gb ROMs you can try 4gb version it that you will get few more issues other than 4gb build ... Did 8gb cm12.1 works fine ?? Ask varun about this custom ROM issue

Cm12 flashed fine but the new 8gb roms didn't. Can I safely flash a 4gb Rom on my 8gb sprout?

Yes You can. But your internal memory will be used for App installation, not for storing media or something else .

USB otg cable or modem to phone with PPP widget is not working. no modem or USB devices connected. plz help

Nice ROM
Good ROM, Xposed is working fine too; few issues here and there, but overall good rom.

After changing rows and columns on launcher I got a white solid bar underneath status bar, which I now can't get rid of. Have I done something unknowingly or is this normal ?
Edit: know now what it is. Switched on google search bar, then back off, but it doesn't completely delete the search bar off the screen

I noticed some issues with Google search bar at home screen, this might be the case with you.
Either disable the search bar on home screen or use different launcher like Nova and you should be good to go.

Hi there it is a RRO based ROM so you all you have to do is install Layers Manager from play store after that try themes from the app itself.....

One thing i noticed was the in call vibration feature not seen in the phone app for call connected and disconnected..is the setting somewhere else

The ROM (PROJECT) is still under development, It's initial release. New features are on the way and hope you all see in next update
If you know any Phone app like Google Dialer or something similar you can try that for workaround.

Hi @shubhambhise..clean installed the latest build, flashed gapps ..on booting the device ..messaging app was force closing..installed root checker app it was also force closing..checked other things it was working but apps were closing..should i clean install again or is there any other issue..

Will get official by CypherOS 6.0 as there will be no more release of 5.3 rom.

Bug: Remember to disable ambient display & reboot or the device will never sleep. You can enable after reboot, but never reboot with it on.

Why still in March patch?

is that audio quality like stock or other rom because in all custom audio quality is bad

I'm not see it on Cypher OS g+ community.
So i must disable Ambient Display, then reboot first ?
Why you no open some threads ?

Thought that will create thread with official release as there are many changes between 5.3 & 6.0.
So, wanted to release with 6.0 & basically my afh builds are test builds, but stable. ?
Setup the device > disable ambient display > reboot > enable if you want.

It's a common issue for Cypher on all devices. Will be fixed with 6.0 release.
