I just broke my Galaxy S4 which I had mounts for that I was very happy with. I use my phone with a tpu case so I'm probably going to have to use universal mounts, but I'm pretty picky and try not to spend more money than I have to.
Car: With the S4 I used an Owlpad wireless charger and it is by far my favorite car mount (with or without charging). I'm still using it in one car, but I want to find something similar for my other car. I like the Owlpad because it fits different sizes and holds them snuggly but doesn't require any adjustment. If I could find a non-charging mount in this style I would be very happy. Extra points if it uses a ball mount so I can toss the windshield mount and replace it with my own.

On the bike I don't mind taking the tpu case off. Unfortunately the mount I bought on Amazon is for a One M7 and the M8 seems to be a little longer. It still fits pretty securely without the top clip but it makes me nervous. And the one I have now rattles like crazy which is terribly annoying. For the bike I want a very snug fit.
This is what I'm using now (it sucks): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CL7YBBY/
And this is the one I used for my S4 and loved: http://goo.gl/PcGAHQ
Any advice?

please let me know about this product if anybody has got one. I ordered one, will be receiving tomoro.
i have this.
I like it when i use it but thats only on trips usually.
The design is a little bulky on the sides but on the positive side its very padded so as not to scratch the device.
I like the little flap/clip things on the bottom. it provides a lil extra support because when my phone is still in its stock case it fits a little wierd but has never falllen out of the holder. The flaps are also far enough apart they don't get in the way of the charging or 3.5 jack.
The base fits snug in my cup holder which is a plus...
You will need to slide the right side of the case down as it wil continue to hit your volume keys but overall, though the design is not the prettiest, its functional, i trust it to hold my HD2 and was pretty cheap considering some of the other holders i've ran into.
I bought mine expecting the worst and it's came in handy quite a bit, i don't think you'll be disappointed.
After trying different car mounts I think this Bracketron will work for me. I wanted one that I could put my phone into and take out quickly. I know I could find cheaper ones on the web but I got the CD mount and it didn't work that well with my cd player plus had a Best Buy gift card. I didn't really want a window mount but this one seems to made pretty good. Some reviews said it doesn't hold up in the sun but I park most of the time in the garage plus I use one of those sun shields in the summer. I haven't noticed it bounce at all probably because how's resting on my dash plus might help the suction (less weight). You can put your phone portrait or landscape. I chose landscape so it's not in my way as much. I like where I put the mount because I don't have to take my eyes off the road that much for GPS and it doesn't bother me when driving. I don't use the release button and just put the phone in by the bottom till it's snug. If it falls it falls, that what insurance is for. :thought: Oh yea I like orange. :hee:
BB has a few that are like this...

I tried this Rocketfish with the vent and window mount but it wouldn't even hold my phone. Stupid design. They have another brand "Dynex" which probably would have the same results.
Just thought I'd share a recent purchase I have made...

This one is a bike mount for the Otterbox Defender. The mount itself clamps on nice and tight and the cut out for the camera makes it perfect capturing on the go... only thing I can say that's wrong with it is that the phone holder itself sits slightly off straight, at least on this one anyway
All I need now it to add a NFS tag to it to automatically start Ulysse Speedometer and Google Music
SlipGrip make mounts for cars, bikes, tripods etc... for quite a number of different phones/cases
I was just looking for a bike mount today, but does this also work for without a case? or the stock Samsung case for the gnote2? very nice accessory find btw :good:

Yes they do have one for no case not sure about the stock case
So I changed my band yesterday but it's a bit too chunky to fit on the charger flush. I love the strap and don't want to change it to a slimmer one - I just wondered if anyone had cracked open the charger to see what's inside. Ultimately what I want to be able to do is shave off a 22mm wedge from the top and bottom to allow the strap to fit into it - but I don't know if there's anything critical in there which might interfere with it...
Cracked mine open, y'know, for science.

Looks like I could quite happily do what I need with no issue other than making it look ugly. However, turns out that I can make the watch fit without it...so this internal image is just a bonus for those interested. Disassembly is easy.
Peel off the rubber ring from the bottom.
There are 3 tiny crosshead screws to remove. Then it's a case of inserting a thin screwdriver in between the outside and inside parts and prising it open. There are little notches which you can use to get purchase on it. That's pretty much it.

I think I found, for me, the ultimate belt clip case. I've been using various ones, but the clip always ends up coming loose.
I wear on the left side (I'm left handed) and getting in and out of the car, it will usually snag on the seat belt, the seat or something.
As you know, the Mate8 is NOT a small phone, so the case for a belt clip is not going to be small.
I stumbled across this one, on Amazon. By accident, I ordered the wrong one, but the seller, who lives in the middle of where
the hurricane went, did his best to allow me to return and he shipped me the correct one.

I really like the METAL construction, and the fact the clip on the case, is riveted to the case, with an additional metal spacer inside the case.
The phone fits snugly, and with the Mate8 clear case that came with the phone, will easily go in and out of the case.
It was a little more expensive, but after wearing out/destroying several cases trying to find one that will last, I think this one will fill the need.
Looks good. If this comfortable to you, all's good. I hold my only in the pocket. With "Spigen" case and Tempered Glass, of course.
