google maps

when im using google maps on satlite mode only no wifi i can see the maps
it only shows my location on a blank map
it worked fine before
im using cyanogen 4.0.4

Did you try to clear the data in Settings>Applications> Google Maps?
If that doesn't work then try to uninstall the app and reinstall it. That SHOULD clear it up.

Problem with latest Google Maps

I just updated the Maps application from the Play Store, and when I open it, it loads undefinitely and when it stops it says me that I have no active internet connexion. But my WIFI is on and works fine.
please help me.

What good is reverse tethering?
I was able to reverse tether my Galaxy Note to use my PC internet...However....I cannot even use Play Store via that connection. Launch of play store asks to open up Wi-Fi and won't even let me enter my Google ID without connecting to Wi-Fi first. Is there a way to overcome this? Why is Play Store or other apps not using the PC internet and asking for Wi-Fi?
Please guide.

USB reverse tethering works just fine.
playstore works, browser works, emails work, other apps work too. only thing that doesnot work for me is the OTA update. thats all

Hi Shyam....I am using Android tools on my PC..Upon connecting, it automatically configured the USB tunnel.....I did not have to install anything on the Phone using Play Store as such.

PDA Net/Foxfi bluetooth tethering for Internet?

Has anyone tried using PDA net or foxfi bluetooth tethering on their gear for internet?
I know that it works for tablets, but just want to know if anyone has tried it on the GG.

He has it working (pdanet) go read on it in the last couple of pages, up to the sticky versions....

I did get the foxfi bluetooth tether to work, you have to install the tablet app on the gear (I did have to change the font scalling for the app to see everything to get it connected)....It works for the browser and amazon app store but for some reason when you try to download apps it says there is not internet access. The download manager also.says no internet access.....but the browser works great including youtube in browser.

I just tried PDAnet+ Pro on my Note 2 from Sprint and PDAnet Tablet on my gear, I received a constant data connection on the browser, however...I cant seem to get a data connection on Google Maps. I also tried Spotify, worked great to stream music but I couldn't get my playlist.

Im not sure why some apps can use the connection and some can't....

Indeed, it would have to be with the way bluetooth tethering routes the data connection.

Try my guide. I got it working on Verizon without native phone tethering and I can use the google play store/Netflix

[Q] No Internet since SlimRom

Just installed SlimRom and although the icon for 3G shows, i don't have any internet. Anyone know a fix? I've checked all the basic settings, roaming, data enabled, APN settings, correct network opperator...
Anyone else know what i could check?

Ok, I've shouldvé checked differently...It's the Playstore.. not the internet.
Playstore says i don't have a connection, chrome, whatsapp and other apps seem to work fine..
I've reinstalled Gapps... doesn't help...
thoughts?
