several day I'm experiencing bottom speaker sound distortion. distortion is heard mainly on ringtones, notification. when I play music or watching YouTube distortion is heard only at lower frequencies
Is my speaker blown or there is some software issue

Don't know if this is usual but sound in videos get distorted when recording loud sounds. It sounds like wind noise when it gets loud.
Is there any solution?

Hi, just got my nexus 6 and noticed that the top speaker is louder than the bottom speaker was just wondering if this was normal also the speakers become distorted on some music but is fine on other.
Wondering what yoir experiance is with the speakers.
My speakers sound perfectly uniform no volume differences between the two. I haven't really experienced any distortion but I suppose it would really depend on what type of music you are playing. In the end these aren't boomspeakers and they are small. But for what they are they still sound pretty good.
yea might have just been the music i was playing because when listening to some youtube videos the speakers seem to sound the same I just recon some of my music isnt proper stereo or something because some things sound uniform some doesnt.
Just restart the phone. This seems to happen to me from time to time.

When I'm playing music from the speaker it makes a strange buzzing noise. Even the ring tone makes same kind of noise. But if I play music with power amp it's almost unnoticeable. If I turn the speaker on while on FM radio also the buzzing notice becomes unnoticeable and sound is clear. Wonder this is a hardware issue or software issue. Anybody else facing the same issue?
It was found out to be a blown out speaker. I got a replacement with the warrenty.
So I used a toothbrush to clean the top grill speaker since it was buzzing a lot and now the speakers sound as new when I play music or YouTube videos. But now, in call volume is so low you can basically not even hear it. I put it on max and it helps a little but not even able to hear anything, anyone know a fix?

What do you think about the general loudness of the speakers? Especially when ringing. I think it is very poor. Sometimes I don't even hear it. Even when playing Music or YouTube it is not very loud. Is there a way to boost the loudness?
