Can't you just SBF back to stock/
As DoubleYouPee said, I would just SBF your phone and start over.
Here's the link to the SBF tutorial http://rootzwiki.com/topic/4370-sbf-droid-3-fastboot-files-55959-and-56890/
EDIT: I've always used RSD Lite when I mess up, don't know about the other method.
Thanks for read and reply, I flash it with Flash+Verizon+DROID+3+OTA+5.6.890+to+phone_psouza4 and SOLANA_SLNCT-57.1.60_Fastboot all is ok but phone still hang logo .
SBF does not flash PDS folder??
Don't forget 1st boot can take 2min

Pull the battery, then boot holding M. Go down to recovery and press up to select it. Then scroll down to wipe data/factory reset and select that. Once that's done, your phone should work.

Hi
I also try it many times but no luck, now i think i must restore pda.img to fix but now i can't find it .
PDS=Persistent Data Storage and is where the MAC addresses and other hardware IDs and data unique to your device is stored. You can't flash the image from a different device.
AFAIK you can only write back the pds.img from your device back to itself.
Can I flash PDS.img for my phone, from any XT862? My phone is broken, it haven't EMEI ESN MEID ERI PRL SIM ID and version of radio, but Wifi and bluetooth works perfectly, Does flashing of PDS.img help me?
Hi guys I need your help! I'm feeling a little nervous right now. I flashed a rom which was intended for i9000 to i9305 (LTE).

Hi,
Can your enter *#1234# on your dialer and post what is write or a screenshot!?
I had the same problem last week after unknowingly flash a rom with "NAND Erase All" checked in Odin. I am not able to recover it, but let me shared what I did. Root your phone, download "triangle away" from App Store to reset your binary counter, then do a factory reset and next flash back stock rom to unroot condition. Send back to service center and tell them a story! They had my motherboard replaced under warranty. Hope this helps!

Before Triangle Away, he have to check in download mode what about status.
Usually, If you not flash with a custom ROMs or root your device, it's not necessary.. But I don't really know about status and flash counter when you flash an incorrect Stock ROMs
I have the same problem. I flashed a rom which was intended for i9000 to i9305 (LTE).
Now my imei number is nul/nul and i cant call or send message.
After enter *#1234# i have this:
AP: I9305XXBLL5
CP: Unknown
CSC: I9305 DTMBLL4
Is there any solution or send phone to service?

Recovering IMEI And Data Connection After Flashing WRONG Root Package Intended For I9300:
Make sure you have Samsung Kies or the Samsung USB Driver installed on your PC.
Download and Extract: Odin3 3.04.zip - 457.11 KB to your PC if you don't already have it.
Download and Extract: Param_Bin_I9305.zip - 612.14 KB to your PC.
With your Phone Switched Off, press and hold: 'VOL DN' + 'HOME' + 'POWER' to enter Download Mode.
Connect your phone to your PC via USB Cable and start Odin.
Check your phone is connected by seeing if a COM Port in a Blue box is present under ID:COM.
Press the 'PDA' Button and select the 'Param_Bin_I9305.tar.md5' file you extracted from the Zip Archive earlier.
Press the 'Start' Button and wait for it to finish flashing. If successful, you will see a Green Box with 'PASS!'.
Wait for your phone to reboot then go to your Dialer and press: *#06#. You should now see your IMEI and your Data Connection will be back.

Youre phone is dead and there is nothing u can do about it! All you had to do was read a bit!! and im sorry but i must say this you were incredably dumb!!
1st error . Flashing 5830 with odin 1.83
2nd error. NEVER EVER EVER EVER!!! Touch efs partition ( but since you touched it now you have no imei and you'll not be recognized by any carrier ... any more )
3rd EFS is hidden partiton and not even mounted! Thats why u cant find it and never will
4rth Never ask for an imei here ... every imei is unique and having other people imei is a crime!
Take your phone to service center cause theres nothing u can do about it! And next take your time to learn properly how to do things with ace!
Take care

Hello, two days ago I had a flight, and during the flight time my phone was in Flight Mode, when we landed I turned off flight mode and my phone ha s no signal 'emergancy calls only'. Have tried few different sim cards which had worked one years ago in this Country (UK). Tried: wipe, rom reinstall (Cyanogenmod 10.1), installed stock 2.3.6 GB rom. Can anyone help?
try flashing stock jvu firmware using odin without simcard inside
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Finished flashiink few minutes ago, has not solved my problem :/
try your sim in another phone and see if it's working !!!
I tried 3 different cards, which works on other phones. Maybe my phone locked?
does your sim have a pin code ? does the phone request for it after the boot ?
Sim's does not have pin codes
Have you tried to manually select the network..?
I tried, but I dont realy know that I do it right
Is there any network showing when you did the manual search.? If no, I'm afraid its a radio problem
yes, phone Finds 5 signals
Bingo..! So you still have hope. Let me check the soln. I'll get back to you if I found one..
If it helps, my sim is from Lebara carier
Is your home network showing in those 5 networks.!
Yes
What's the reply you getting when u trying to catch it manually..
Also check you can see the imei of your phone. Type *#06#
Registerting, then "Can't connect to this network at the moment, please try again later" imei is correct
Try this. I'm not sure it works or not. Give it a try if you want to.
1. flash the device again with the modem image (download the firmware of your device from samfirmwares.com, delete everything from the .tar file except modem.bin, and then flash this file to the phone with Odin (you can get Odin and instructions from that site too)
2. maybe your nv_data.bin file or /efs directory got corrupted, make a backup of the folder, then simply delete nv_data.bin, it will be recreated for you on Galaxy S.
For this, you’ll need root. If you have a root-enabled kernel, like the Voodoo lagfix kernel, you only have to install the Superuser app and Busybox on the phone, download the Android SDK to your PC, install platform-tools in the SDK manager, go to the platform-tools directory and start adb shell.
In the shell, type su, wait for the Superuser prompt to appear on the phone (if it does not appear, open the Superuser app and try executing su again), enable root access for the command. Now go to /efs, copy everything to for example /sdcard/efs, then rm nv_data.bin.
Reflashing the device with a kernel and checking “phone EFS clear” in Odin also works (make sure you made a backup of the EFS folder just in case).
3. you can try changing the CSC (to XEU for Europe): enter *#272*imei# on the phone tab. Note: this will reset your phone to factory settings, so make sure you did a clockworkmod backup before this. Incorrect CSC setting may cause MMS not working also.
4. check if you inserted the SIM card correctly Try this . I'm not sure it works. Just give it a try on your responsibility.
---------- Post added at 03:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:35 AM ----------
Check any of the first 3 methods works or not.
Try what @jabrif said if it's not working try this :
Flash your phone with GB firmware
check if your sim is working , if it's complete with this :
root your phone
flash cm9 ( ics 4.0.4 )
check if your sim is working , if it's complete with this :
flash the rom based on cm 10.1 or 10
check your network signal
good luck
When I flashed GB rom JVU, it hasn't solved my problem. Maybe something wrong with efs folder?
Hey guys.
First time rooter and poster.
I attempted to to root and install a custom rom on my Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9305 last night after multiple assurances both from friends and online that its a simple, fool-proof process, and now I think I've bricked my phone.
Through Odin 3.07 I ran CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar as per the instructions. The phone rebooted and loaded into CWM recovery mode.
From there I did "wipe data/factory reset", "mounts and storage--- format /cache" and "advanced--- wipe dalvik cache". All operated without a hitch.
I then installed from SD card "CARBON-JB-NIGHTLY-20130910-0745-i9305.zip"
Again, it seemed to install without any problems.
Once that was done I attempted a "reboot system now".
The phone reloaded to the Samsung screen with a small red exclamation mark in the top left corner... This is where it stayed.
I pulled the battery to reset, and reloaded CWM recovery mode (volume up + power button + home button).
From there I read that I should've done another "wipe data/factory reset" after the install, so I did. I also read that a "format /cache" can help, so I did that too.
When I attempted another reboot it goes straight to download mode and from there I can't do anything...
What's going on??
Thanks in advance for any help.

Just finished doing that.
I seemed to have successfully restored it to stock (incl. network provider software) but any ideas on why it didn't work to start with?
Because I would like to try again.

Update: I thought it was fixed. Turns out, not quite.
The phone now boots and operates as it normally would but for some reason cannot read that there is a simcard inserted.
I've tried to the simple on/off, take it out/put it back in, but its still not recognizing that there's a simcard inserted.

Punching in *#272*imei# doesn't do anything. Pressing dial after punching it in just tells me I have no mobile network.
Then I realised the "imei" must stand for something, looked it up, punched in *#06# which is supposed to show me the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number, but it just popped up a window saying "null/null".
Have also tried your other suggestion of reflashing stock after a system wipe in CWM. No change.

Another side note to add is that ignoring the sim card issue, I decided to reattempt rooting it.

Read up some more about restoring the IMEI and finally, using ODIN flashed Param_Bin_I9305.tar.md5 and its back and operational again.
Now comes back to the original question, why didn't the CarbonROM work and what can I do to make it work???
Thanks.

did the root operation succeeded
you should check with that. may be it was not rooted at all and that may be reason for the soft brick
after rooting check with root checker
and follow the instructions correctly mount system and data before flashing anything in cwm
and one more thing check on rom home page may be any requirements and do check with other kernels also
