I was digging around and didn't find a topic regarding this.
I play music from my phone through my aux while driving. I don't get any audio (or the volume is super low) when it tries to read out messages. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. Any ideas?

What music app? Some just don't pause or quiet for the system. And some do. Its the way the app was made, not anything to do with the phone.
I use play music, the music stops, but the volume of the system voice is just unbearably quiet, no matter what the volume is set to.

I used to use it over Bluetooth, and it worked flawlessly then, it has to do with the fact its going through aux

Hello everyone.... I was wondering if there is any android app which can play music in background while calling someone so that you as well as the person you called can listen to the music.

There isn't an app that I know of, but on Gingerbread(ICS isn't fast enough for me yet) if you play music while on a call it plays softly in the background so you can hear. But, you could always turn on the stereo and put the phone up to it

I gave the new Google Play Music app a shot and it seems that it doesn't work correctly with Bluetooth... I use my phone as a music player in my car and Spotify never gave me any issues but it seems that this app plays one song and after its over it just stops playing.
Am I doing something wrong? I made a Playlist and have the Playlist on... I can see the queue on now playing.
Anyone else have this issue?

I'm only streaming to a bluetooth headphones and I noticed that since the last music app update I get random FC and once a while will just stop playing, I noticed that most of these issues happen while streaming sound from the cloud. Try to play a song already saved on the device to see if it does the same.
I stream to my blue tooth(pioneer) in my F150 no issues.

I have all kinds of weird issues with the app. Sometimes it stops by itself. Shuffle only works when it wants too. Songs that are saved to my phone "can't be streamed". It's all random too. They just happen for no reason.

Only issues Ive had thus far are bluetooth occasionally disconnecting and the occasional time I cannot slide the timing of a song. Viper with stock kernel

When I would connect my GN2 to the stereo in my car, it would work fine hands free while mounted to the dash. Sound came through speakers and if I talked somewhat loudly, people heard me fine. Now when I do the same thing with the note 3, people complain of echos and talk back no matter how much I turn down the volume of the stereo. Am I missing a setting or this yet another step back for the Note 3?

Hello, after accepting the ota update to 4.4 when I play a you tube video and I go into landscape mode the picture goes dim and I get a box with a speaker like icon on the bottom left of the box right in the middle of the screen. I was told it is Chrome cast type connection that connects the phones video to the computer. Well my question is, how do I turn it off? I rather like seeing a bright video screen rather than a dimmed out one. Thank you.

Turn off your bluetooth connection. Select the multitasking button long press on the YouTube square and force stop the application. When you log back into the app it should be fine now

Thanks brudda, but still doesn't fix it with the blue tooth connection. Hope Google takes care of this soon. I like my Bluetooth headset.

This has nothing to do with 4.4. I get this when I'm connected to a bluetooth music receiver it's very annoying. I've sent Google several emails about this. Hopefully they fix it soon in the next YouTube update

That's funny it never happened to me on 4.2.2 but then again I never used my bluetooth headset until 4.4 LOL.
This has been fixed with latest update.

Just curious I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere. When my blue tooth earpiece connects to my phone (I have a legend) the music on my phone automatically starts playing. I can't find a setting anywhere in music or play music that has anything to do with it. It didn't use to do this. Not sure what happened. Any ideas?

Very strange...today it just stopped doing it and I don't know why

It depends on your device, not your phone. My backbeat2 doesn't autoplay but my Ford Taurus does and my girlfriend's bluetooth autoplays.
