It came in this weekend, and so far I'm impressed. Feels great. Nice quality. Love being able to remove it and still be protected

Looks thick? And in pics it looks like there's clear plastic on one corner? What's that for? I was going to get this until you pointed out removable, I didn't see that before, what do they mean because they all are removable really?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Well it is thicker than a slim case of course. But I would not call it thick. Removable in this case means that the main case around it comes out of the stand part... Then it is like a slim case...

Hate that it cant ship to Canada :crying:
What is the clear plastic on the face, that I see in pics?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Just a graphic overlay in the picture to mimic reflection... Kinda weird

4.99 here with prime free shipping
Ordered and received yesterday. Very nice case for the price. Magnet works great, stand works good both horizontally and vertically. The outside has a nice soft feel. Advertised as leather, but I'm not 100% on that. Did have a chemically smell for the first day, but it did go away. The device fits nicely as well.
All in all, I recommend this case.

Any skins that just covers the back? (looking for brushed steel)

Skintomi has a skin but they're full body and $20. I just want the one for the back cover as I'm looking to go with an aluminum bumper case and I'm not a fan of the shiny back side.
Full body from zagg is frosty but still semi transparent. It gives texture fill and phone is not do slippery.

would prefer something non transparent. but i'll check out zagg. are they still making their on screen display protectors with that orange peel look and tacky feel?
After only 5 days there is slightly "orange peel" look. About "tackiness" I prefer it's feel with stylus, it is more like real paper.

I'm intrigued now
.... I have to return some videotapes....
Why not just buy replacement back covers from ebay? Most of them have the brushed steel look and in different colors.
I had a gelaskin on my Gnex. Thy have some great designs but you can also use your own image. Might also be an option although an expensive one.

You could buy 3M vinyl wrap? I used it for covering my Samsung tpu case since I hated getting finger prints on shiny back. One I used has steel brush effect and came out pretty nice.
3M 1080 BRUSHED BLACK METALLIC VINYL CAR WRAP - 12" x 60" (1ftx5ft)
That's the one I purchased for $10 and that's enough to cover your device lifetime for fraction of cost!

Simplisim Ultra slim case

Have anyone checked out the Simplisim ultra thin case?
It's retailing for Sgd$38 in Singapore
I have one, and although slightly embarrassed to say so, the edges of the case seem a bit 'sharp", sort of a razor blade feeling, so my first impression wasn't great. This is where the screen meets the protector.

any ebay copy of this case? thanks
I've never used ebay! But if I put it up there, can I advise on this thread?

I bought one to try. Its definitely cheaper. Slim and light. Though this does not have opening for the dock connection, thus not able to use with the charging dock.

Bodyguards pure

Does anybody know if the Seidio surface case still fits with a bodyguardz pure glass screen protector installed?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
if you mean this one then i would think it should. mine fits along the inner edge of the bezel so it shouldn't interfere with the surface...
Unfortunate for me it wouldn't fit after installing the pure. Luckily I had a different case.

I've had horrible luck with the body guardz screen protector and cases that I have gotten offline and online.

Has anyone seen this back? Does it look like it's for a girl? I have the Best Buy blue G4, so my buttons are dark blue so it would go well with the light blue back. Any opinions would help b4 I drop some cash
