Did you follow the flashing processes correctly? Did you do a full wipe before flashing? If not, then try it!
Good luck! :good:

[Q] How to flash to MoDaCo?

Hey
I'm trying to flash my LG O2x to this specific version of MoDaCo
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021803
I just can't get it to work. I'm currently running BlazeDragon v2.0a
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053108
I've already flashed to Baseband 1035.21_20110622 which is recommended for the MoDaCo ROM.
I want to flash to MoDaCo because I want to use this HTC Sense skin
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1091727
If there are better options where the skin will work aswell please tell me I just started flashing yesterday so I'm still learning. Any advices / rom tips are greatly appreciated.

Well I can't seem to install the MoDaCo Rom. I've tried 'updating' to the advised baseband and followed all steps but my phone isn't going past the first LG screen.

I tried it a couple times already but it didn't work out so that's why I made this question?
So you flasht your baseband first and then tried to install ModaCo ?
which cwm do you use may you should use a new version 5.X.X.X
and try again !
Or just let us know step by step how you flashed the ROM !
good luck
I'm already using the newest ClockWorkMod.
But I think I'll just switch to a different ROM - those work fine for me so yeah Thanks for the help anyways.

If you'd read a little before flashing your phone, you'd have known that you can't ever revert to stock ROM if you haven't done a backup previously..
JK.. But RTFT!

You should read the whole wiki.
There are instructions for flashing with ODIN... You should download a stock firmware (also look at wiki) and then flash it.
Nex time, don't install something if you don't know what it does
Why you want to delete cm9 ? Personally i use it from he was pre-alpha (aproximatively 5 months ago) and my phone isn't broken and it's running normaly and better than in gb. Now in cm9 aren't big bugs and it can be use as daily rom. Finally it's your choice . If you want to go back to the original firmware use wiki page it's very usefull. Good luck :good:

Galaxy note JB update, clean install STILL SLOW

Hopefully this is where I should have posted it......
Hello,
Seen this being brought up a lot but i have the galaxy note which was on ICS standard before, I then did the update to JB through Kies or via the software update button and after a while realised it was slow and that everyone was having the same problem. I then found everyone said to do a clean install and a hard reset and just start fresh which I have done. After a couple of weeks now its is still running slow and laggy and just painfully annoying, can be there for a bout 5 seconds sometimes longer waiting for apps or things to open.
Any ideas on what I can do?
And like I said its all standard haven't put a custom rom or anything on there as I don't know how to do any of it but is it worth learning how to do it and doing it?
Thanks

want to try custom roms? Check allmost all of them here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28517899
also the steps are mentioned on 1st post of all the roms. Be on safe kernel before formatting or flashing.
Yup, your experience pretty much sums up the JB update for the note - c**p. However there are a few things you can do, first install a ROM with an XXLT4 base or higher, after that then uninstall as many apps as possible that you won't use and that you can live without. It will be a bit better but still, not as fast and smooth as ICS.
Revert back to ICS! Flash the ics stock via ODIN. Download from sammobile.com

I think I would like to yes but every time I have tried I cant do it and get confused lol.
As I said my phone is completely standard not been flashed or anything so would need a whole step by step guide to do it on and would then need the ROM or OS whatever its called to install. I have a galaxy ace to test it on. I think the thing that was scaring me was that my phone is still under warranty so wouldn't want to ruin that but then I might try it anyway??
Cheers

There is a detailed guide provided on how to root in the forum and it's very safe. I rooted the phone the next day i bought it! Don't worry u can try it, the methods prescribed here are very safe, just follow the instructions to the letter. And custom ROMs will give u a much different experience altogether!

Yes totally, if you have a look at the touchwiz based ROMs you have the inherent samsung features with new customisations. Some other custom ROMs like CM based give you a native Android experience. Try them out!

Follow this...
Firstly root your phone. The guide for rooting is there in dr.Ketan's thread. I'd have posted the link but I'm currently on my mobile device and it's tedious. Just look in the Android development forum and the thread for how to root will be right there. Next after you root and flash a CWM recovery (you'll find the kernel with such a recovery by Phil and it'll be there in the same forum that teaches you to root). After this, you can flash a ROM (yes it's similar to operating system!). Try ROMs like the PAC which are feature packed and stable. Please follow all the instructions to the letter. And do not forget to hit the thanks button

ah lovely ok im going to look for this thread and see if I can find it. Like I said I have a galaxy ace I might try it on first to see if it goes well and then I can work on my note to see what happens. Once I finally manage to root my phone I will then try a ROM and see how I go, if I have any questions ill post them on here and see if you can help :fingers-crossed:
thanks, have hit that button too!

Have you done a factory reset after upgrading to jb? If not, then please do so.
As he said so, factory reset. And, get a custom kernel
I've done full wipe and factory reset after install. Is there any guide how to install custom kernel? What custom kernel gives me? Do I install custom roms with Odin? What is the fastest and the most stable rom at the moment?

Here, the all-guide to your queries.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2198341
I would suggest cocore kernel. For roms, you yourself must try one. Everybody got their own preferences. So go and find yours.
Hope this helps.

[q] step by step downgrade from ics to jb ;'(

Hello there XDA.
First I would like to apologize if this has already been answered. but i didn't find it!
So I have a Samsung GT-N7000 Galaxy Note running the JB 4.1.2 Rooted.
When i upgraded it from ICS to Samsung JB update, it went Network lock.. I Googled the Issue and Solved it with the help of some Galaxyunlock.apk thing..
That night i came to know high pitched screeching coming through my speakers when i play anything (Video,Music even during calls), I thought that it's speaker's fault, I Plugged in Earphones, they also produced that noise.blah blah blah
IN SHORT: My Note's Sound system gone mad ..
It was rooted by somebody, I know about rooting but i haven't done it yet, I've never flashed roms, i did nothing because i can't afford it to brick!
But Now Situation is Different,
I want to get my ICS Back
.So I decided to downgrade to the latest ICS ROM , and, I found Baseband Version is N7000XXLSO.
Summary:
My Phone is Rooted..
I want to get ICS back because i think it may fix it!
Please give me the step by step instruction to downgrade it (Using Odin or Any thing)..
Thanks in Advance!!

Download your relevant firmware from sammobile.com & flash it through odin. Search the forum for odin.
(A fiendly advice, installing ics is not really a good idea. If it's the sound system that your problem is, try to flash JB stock firmware again before flashing ics.)

My Dear Friend, I did it...
But Sound system is still doing problem !!
I don't think it is a Hardware Fault because
1.There is no screeching in normal calls!!
2.There is High-Pitched Noise if i call through Viber or Skype Audio call
3.Loud speaker as well as Handsfree are producing these noises!!

And How to Do It??
OK. This is all answered here. It is an XDA requirement to search. Many of us have spent countless hours creating guides. Start by looking at the sticky threads in General and Q&A sections.
