Does any one know how to reduce the brightness of the screen other than using lux app or any other app... Is there a way to do that by editing some files in the system?? And how to change the background of the app drawer completely black just like cm11??

If you're talking about dim the minimum brightness use gravity box xmod. To the black notification panel (if you mean only the drawer increase the background transparency, I use nova launcher pro) use gravity box or xblast tools. And next time be less arrogant to who try to help you. Have fun

I'm sure it would be by modding the framework file. You should maybe start there and see where that goes.
You can do it by modding the framework file, or take the easy way like I did and use launcherpro and have it set to hide the notification bar.

Thought of that, but then I cant see my notifications at the top which I use a lot.. id just like to remove the clock, and slide all the battery and signal info to the right to take up its space.
I found work-arounds for that problem too lol. I customized my dock with 'call', 'texts', and 'gmail' icons and set the preference to show the 'unread' or 'missed call' count on the icon. I think it just makes my home screen look cleaner. Plus I get the full screen view of Katy Perry's half naked body woot woot.
Or you can also just set the notification bar to be hidden, and set the home softkey to pull down the notification bar.
Hi guys,
I am starting to work on xposed modules and have successfuly created and tested one. I am planning to create a good module for many basic settings. I just want some suggesstions from people to get started with. What i am planning to do is to make a separate module for each task, so that there isnt something like Gravity box which is too comlex. Some options are like below:
1. Navbar size changer
2. Status bar meizu mod for .266 stock rooted
3. battery icon theme
4. various system parameters toggles (all rotations including 180, unplugscreenon disable, camera sounds, mobile data warning)
etc etc
If anyone has a minor module request, i can make it on demand as well. (for example one to enable lockscreen rotation etc)
Below is my first test module, It makes STOCK XPERIA 4.3 Settings DUAL PANE.
Also works on all other stock based Xperia ROMS.

Illumination bar xposed
Can you create a module that changes the illumination bar color on every app and keep it on? Example: If I open whatsapp the illumination bar turns green and if i go to twitter the illumination bar turns blue... same as tinted status bar but with the led bar. Dont need automatic colorizing, i want to manage color settings for every app in a list. Sorry for my english please!
pie control.. not like gravity.. pacman pie that has notification when swipe up..
Why did you post that on Q&A, Help forum?
It would better fit on the "General" forum..
Please request mods to move it ^_^

I'll see what i can do. Maybe an app might be better for this... but will also be possbile using module. Let me try it tonight.

I can do the pie controls of gravity box easily as its source is open. Maybe PAC source is open too, but will be great if you can point me towards the java file which handles PACman pie. Then i can try.

I was successful in implementing basic settings. Now I'm working on above as well as some other layout modifications. Hang tight.

tested your "tutorial.apk" ! I mistakenly thought it was dual "page" in quicksetting (as in gravity box) lol
Great innovation.:good:
Actually the dual pane thing is very basic tweak... it could be useful if i change the dpi and layout.
anyways, my main aim is to make separate modules for
1. meizu mod status bar
2. various dpi navbars
3. various icons navbars
4. navbar/pie controls combo.
Hide handlebar and adjust transparency
1.For hiding handlebar and adjusting transparency of notification bar like in the attachement
2.Full screen caller photo
3. Changing theme accent color overriding the accent color of theme applied
4. Meizu Statusbar as you said but for .201 FW (Latest)
I got my system working back today and created one small one for myself. Anyone is welcome to use it if they want.
Module function:
1. Force Screen to remain off while plugging the charger in and out. (i was frustrated due to the constant screen on)
2. Allows all rotations in 3rd party apps. (Quickpic, UltimateReader, FX manager and many others). However the Xperia Home does not rotate.
3. Forces Navbar hieght to stock 48 dpi. (i was using another SystemUI meizu mod which made it 36 dpi so i wanted a toggle for that).
I will work on more modules for small little changes as requested here. Next target is Meizu Mod Module and then PIE controls/Expanded Desktop module.
What exactly does your dual pane module do?

lol. it takes a few seconds to try.
Have you used PAC ROM? it makes the setings page dual pane.... Not much useful though.
See below, its similar to this.:

I need tester for my MEIZU mod xposed module.
See attachment.
Just go in xposed>modules>tick my Module, install/update framework...
you have Meizu Statusbar.
It only works for Xperia 4.3 ROMS. (.201 tested. 266 not tested but it should work.)
EDIT: Apparently there are some bugs still present....

Anyone figured out how to get it to show the battery percentage? The ADB command for KitKat doesn't seem to do anything.
Have you tried battery percent for kit kat in play store?

My understanding was that it was essentially a front-end on the adb command, but I'll try it.

Ah, the description for the app points out that the text is white on a white background when the battery is full. I just hadn't waited long enough, it was in fact working.

Thanks for the app suggestion. Any other apps that can do the same but with colored text instead of white?

"Power toggles" gives a few different options/colors, as well as giving toggles in the notification shade
I use battery bt pro it works great uses only three permissions and you can change the color

I wish this would be built in - show the % inside the icon with it horizontal like HTC sense. Kind of ridiculous to run a widget to show %! Ditto for signal, should be a way to display dBm too!
Is there a mod to make the navigation bar transparent or translucent and not black throughout the system or within apps?
Or invert the color of the bar like the LG G3?

Oh yeah, Just like mine now. Take a look baby
What mod is that?
Edit: does anyone know if there's a mod for marshmallow?

But.. Does it also work when you're in for instance whatsapp? Could you post some screenshots in some apps? Because it's only transparent on the home screen on my Nexus 6
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Unfortunately if the app doesn't allow it, I don't think it's possible
Here is the deal. When you use a launcher that allows transparency, it is only on the home screen. That is because the homescreen is designed to allow the window (of the application) to sit behind the status bar and navigation bar. Windows for other applications do not sit behind these bars. They stop when they meet them. If you actually had a transparent navigation bar and you were in facebook, you would not see the background of the app behind it. You would see dead space, which may be white, grey or black. Not the effect you're looking for.
Conversely, if the app windows DID sit behind these bars, some functionality would be lost. eg. buttons at the bottom of the app would sit behind the navbar. There are apps and mods that can achieve this, such as expanded desktop, but is it really worth losing functionality for this?

That looks pretty inconvenient. What happens when you hit the spacebar? Goes home?

To expand on that a little bit, the notion of having something transparent depends on there actually being something behind it to show through, which really doesn't make much sense.
In fact, the transparent "effect" (at least, on the notification bar at the top) is something done by the application itself, by defining the boundaries of the application to extend above the border of the application window, hence drawing something up outside of the application's area.
The nav bar can't be made transparent in the same manner, but the application developer has the option to set the color.
I was able to change the notification's to black which is create but the apk for it makes the text grey and hard to see without maxing out the brightness. if anyone has an apk to change this color please let me know!

AFAIK the only way to get white text with bark notification is to use COFFEE. I'm not much into custom theme's so I'll just stick with the grey text.
