I have recently downloaded the stock calculator app since it went missing for some reason. I got the calc app from

The widget that came with it worked completely fine, but the app itself just crashes upon an attempt to open it up.
*I have a rooted HTC one (m7) phone, using the elemental x kernal.
Thank you!

I've recently got my HTC One, and it's been running fine so far
That changed today though, when all my widgets just aren't updating at all on the home screens.
Some of the widgets are Handcent SMS, 3G watchdog, Plume & AquaMail.
I've not installed anything recently, they've just stopped updating.
Any ideas?
Bit more information for you.
After a reboot, the widget will work ok for a few seconds. IE the charging animation on the battery widget will work, then it stops.
Pressing the widget will launch the app OK, but no updates / refresh.
Try a factory reset.

Was hoping to avoid a reset, just wondered if anyone had experienced the same problem.
Seemed to work ok this morning & now the widgets are back to not updating.
Can Antone out there help me get the Google launcher, gallery and camera working properly? I've tried a few fixes on this site and others for the launcher but none work for me although some HTC one owners are reporting no problems.
When I try open the launcher app it crashes right away. I've changed the defaults and put in a new sys/lib file also but still just crashes on start.
Camera works as well as video but crashes when I try use pano or photos here. The gallery app same. Crashes on start. Please help if u can. Thanks

What ROM/Kernel are you using? Are you rooted? That sounds like the kinda errors I get when I flash a new base without wiping.
I'm rooted but not on a custom ROM. And I didn't flash anything just installed the apk files. It works perfect on my galaxy S2 although the OK Google voice search only worked for a day. But won't work on my one. ?? I really want it on my one though

I updated my stock HTC ONE to the over.the air 4.3 update and now my gallery force closes when I select the album's option. The gallery only works if I use the events option. I've restarted my phone and cleared media storage and cache for the gallery and still the same. I wondering if anyone is having similar problems.

I'm running a rooted Moto X with Krypton ROM 1.4.1 and his latest kernel (0006 I think) I like to run this bad boy all blacked out and I have done so with everything but the contacts app. I have the TBO apps and xposed rocking.. But I can't get any contacts app to invert. I flash and the app shows in the priv app file but not in the drawer. Wont show up anywhere but in priv app folder. I try to use my dialer to access it out days no program available to access that info. I've flashed about 5 different versions and pushed the same amount. I've wiped so much it hurts and I've fixed permissions a ton....... Can anyone help me? It's driving me batty not having a blacked out contacts.

Eclipse comes with a inverted contacts.
Eclipse one didn't work.... But I flashed the Ultima ROM one and it worked. It's got gradient and isn't pure black but it's a lot better than white.

Hi all,
I recently bought an HTC One X9 dual sim and I am happy with it but I notice that the HTC Music app is missing (and others to). So I tryed to take this music app from my HTC One M8 and install it on X9. It installed fine and when I open it I can see the app on the screen but it crash and force closed.
This app also can be found on www.apkmirror.com. Form here I downloaded the People widget and calendar widget wich also was missing on the X9 stock.
My X9 is stock so what I want is to prot the HTC Music app.
Can some one port it or explain how to port, actualy it is for same Android version (6) and for same sense version (7).
Thanks
By porting I mean from an HTC M8 to an other HTC phone , in this case the X9 dual sim.
My phone is not rooted and I do not intend to root.
I think the app, as I downloaded it, needs to be installed on the system partition which means I need root.
Is there a way to make it like a normal app and installed it in user space?

I found the solution. You can find all HTC apps which you can install on other HTC phones without need of root.
