stuck on bootloop - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
im stuck on the sony logo.
No rom is in my internal storage
On my pc i have only a "flashable.zip" (.761 SFR)
My question: "How to flash flashable zips via flashtool?" Otherwise "How to convert a zip to a ftf" or "how to push files from pc to bootlooped z1"
Thanks

As you still have downgrade, downloading ftf 534 shouldn't be problem.
As soon as you flash 534 you'll be able to download 761 to your device and flash it using recovery...
But if you don't need a root or recovery, download 757 or 761 ftf and flash it with flashtool...
Flashable zip 761 doesn't have kernel, that's why we all (on LB) have to flash stripped ftf, so it's not possible to convert it to ftf that could be recognized by flashtool...

got it :good:
you need Flashtool installed and then extract the FTF via 7zip
select sin editor from tools menu of flashtool and browse the file kernel.sin from where you extracted the FTF file
then click extract data and you will see a kernel.elf file has been created in the same dir as where you extracted the FTF file
let me know how it went
i just did that and it went fine

there is no need to do that.
If you have a stock kernel.elf you can flash it using fastboot (Or flashtool in fastboot mode) on both locked and unlocked bootloaders

I know. But I want to make stock kernel a flashable zip(so that I can switch between stock kernel and doomkernel easily ),so the kernel.elf won't fit.

You are right. It is a fake thread in the wrong section. It must be deleted by administrator. We are waiting for a real flashable ROM for our TX under this title.

someone has to remove it, or at least change the title, it's damn confusing :|

U can flash stock rom... Then root it,install recovery and de odex it... Why u need pre rooted rom? if there is way to root it easily...
I know that but its difficult to get drivers everytime fot flashtool and its difficult to root latest firmware
Flashtool is for flashing unmodified stock firmware packages only in flashmode. You can't make modified FTF files.

What options are you choosing to flash in flashtool. Select wipe all and don't exclude anything in flashtool. Try that.

Flashed in that manner only. Wiping all and not excluding anything.
I have a doubt. There is nothing related to 'Baseband' in contents list or in exclude?
I read somewhere that i need to flash baseband from ftf in order to fix. Is it true?

Bro all you need is a sony flashtool, sony pc companion, your z1, and some patience.
first of all make a ftf of original firmware for you device this might help second step flash the ftf which you made using flashtool (remember this ftf is the orignal copy of stock firmware).
after flash process finished just simply turn on your device and this might get back your modem's and signal and yes your imei number as how it should be.
