Excuse me.
I'm want to ask.
Why my Xperia X8 just stop in "Sony Ericsson" not Sony Ericsson logo, after install Chainfire 3D. I'm using GC 8.5 ROM + Kernel nAa 08b
At the first, I install Chainfire 3D and suddenly the phone is error then the phone off.
But when I turn on, the phone just stop in nAa Logo not Sony Ericsson Logo. But can enter to CWM.
After that, I full wipe from CWM and install new Custom ROM. But the phone still stop.
Then, I flash to stock eclair with Flashtool and used Stock Kernel. but the phone still stop in "Sony Ericsson"
Do you think, what happen with my Xperia X8 ? And what should i do to repair my Xperia X8 ?
Sorry, if my English is bad.
Try to flash new kernel and than instal costum rom (full wipe befor and after rom instalation).
It should work
Well it has been said that chainfire can brick our x8. Guess those rumors are true. Did you try seus?
Sent from my X8 using XDA App
so i installed MiniCM7 2.0.9. My old ROM is FroyoBread. i Installed MiniCM7 Without nAa Kernel because when flashing kernel i got error.
For now my device stuck at "sony ericsson" bootscreen.
ive tried SEUS,PCC and no work.
what should i do ?
xRec and CWM cant be open.
Help please thanks.

If you still see " Sony Ericsson" bootscreen, then you still in stock kernel and have not install the aNa Kernel! MiniCM7 cannot install on stock kernel! you cannot use aNa Kernel, if you have not unlocked your bootloader!
Look at the date of manufacturing carefully, otherwise you may brick your phone! PM if you desperate!
Were you be able to connect to your PC? If so, then Flashtool may help!
I got a X8 that has been bricked, but the phone still haven't reach me yet...
Last time i posted my topic here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688987

Hi all...
My friend sent his X8 to a phone shop to get it updated to android 2.3.7 and ended up with a bricked phone cause by that phone shop.
Now, which according to him stuck at the white "Sony Ericsson" logo...Which i know is a soft brick and most probably can be saved by flashing it with PCC or SEUS or FlashTool.
I have ask him to flash it with SEUS or FlashTool, but not successful, still stuck on the SE logo, i doesn't know weather he do it wrongly or does not has any patient...
I gonna buy this phone from my friend, and repair the phone myself.
I want to ask u guys is there any other reason for the phone to stuck at the SE logo other than bricked phone? Could it be a hardware prob?
8/6/2012 UPDATE:
Just now my fren turn on the X8, it stuck at the white "Sony Ericsson" text, and after a moment, the phone reboot itself and stuck at there again and reboot itself again and again...

And do share some experience if u do encounter such prob...

I dont really know bout the condition. Usually works with seus or flashtool. Maybe something has been changed, like kernel or/and baseband. Maybe u would need to flash stock kernel and baseband too. Try flashing them and hope it ll work.

You can use Flashtool to flash a stock ROM and act like nothing happened..
If you can still go to cwm by pressing back button while boot then you can get a rom that works on stock kernel on to your sd card and flash it or if u have back up then just reatore it..
Or
If u can't go to cwm then flash stock rom .Ftf file available in our development section and flash it..
Heres a guide to flashing
