Hello all. Just wanted to know if the contacts are stored on the watch itself ugh... or if it is required to have the watch connected to get the contacts.

Hi guys. All my current contact are sync from google and not save on the phone or samsung server. My problem now is contact wont fully sync on my gear. Random contact was chosen. Some from google, some from simcard and some from phone. When i choose favourites only, nothing willbe dispalyed unless i choose contact from the 1st sync as favourites. Tried resetting gear,install/uninstall gear manager. The weird problem is when i make a call on the gear. The gear recognize the 'not syncing number'. Anybody facing the same problem? Does gear have limit on how many contact to sync?
Nobody have the same problem? Sending my watch to tech support then...
The problem is about syncing the contacts from cloud... if your phone is fully synced with all the contacts, then your gear will display all.
I have a problem that maybe could be yours.
None of my contacts sync with Gear if I had chosen a Custom Label for it, and all my phone numbers are customized with the name of cellphone's operator. I noticed that only the contacts with standard "mobile", "work" etc... will sync with gear.
Does anyone know how to fix that?
thanks,
Marcelo

Thx for the reply. Im thinking our problem is actually the same. All my contact are using custom label. I label them to my country operator same as u. Maybe this is the reason im not getting it showed in my gear.
Hi folks. I'm struggling with my droid 3 and it's contacts upload to my car (VM bluetooth system). The contacts that are uploaded don't match those that exists in my contacts - some are missing, and there are some extras in the list. The contacts view on my phone shows only those contacts that I've defined in my google account.
Is there a contact list somewhere on the phone that's different than the one that is sync'd with google? I've tried to "un-verizon" the phone as much as I could, but I wonder if there's another database that the bluetooth passes to the car - perhaps managed by the blur update agent?
Hey, so I have Tablet Talk and Fleksy running on my Galaxy Gear (1st gen) so I can text straight from the watch.
Now, my problems are that I am unable to get Tablet Talk on my Gear to sync with my contacts. My contacts are syncing fine with the Gear if I go in the official contacts app, but in Tablet Talk it is always just numbers.
Also, the apps were sideloaded and while they work great, after a while they disappear from the apps list and I am constantly forced to restart my Gear in order to see them again.
Any fixes for these?
Thanks,
-Ryan
I am trying to sync Google keep, but it's only sync in from the watch to the phone, note the other way around. I can create a note on the watch and it will appear on the phone but every new note I create on the phone doesn't appear on the watch, and the note I created on watch doesn't appear on the watch as well.
Please help me
Good afternoon:
I've recently acquired the new Samsung Galaxy Watch3 (Bluetooth variant) and ever since then I have been trying to find an app to synchronize my Google Calendar events. The idea is to have an app with all the agenda items (just like the features that the app "Calendar gear" provides, however that one does not seem compatible with this watch). An idea could be to have a notification pop up to the phone so that it could be relayed to the watch, but I was wondering if any of you knew any app that could do the work. I tried searching the store, but nothing seemed to be compatible with Google.
Thank you for your attention.
On my watch I can see all the Google Calendar events in the Calendar widget, without having done anything to make that happen. The events are automatically synced with the Calendar events of my phone. On my phone I choose in which calendar the event is entered (usually Google or Samsung). Events of both are appearing on my watch. Trying to understand your problem - is this not working the same way for you?
The same for me. I did nothing to have the calendar events appear.
Good morning to both of you:
Thank you very much for your replies, I will definitely try using the native calendar app. Is the synchronization automatic once bluetooth is activated or does it have to be done explicitly from the phone?
Thanks again
The synchronizarion is automatic once the watch is connected to your phone.
