Hi there everybody!
I've been following the xda for almost two years now, first to mod my old GS3 and now I keep it up with the Z1. You guys rocks!
My Z1 (C6943) is running a C6903 .534 (by NUT), rooted, with last dualrecovery working properly. I've been trying to install the iHackers 4.1 lately. My problem is that when I try to install the .zip file through the TWRP I get the message that it cannot open the file, along with (bad) and finally aborting the installation. Is there any solution to this? I have downloaded the file again but no luck either. Am I doing something really dumb?
I hope you understand my poor english, I'm trying to improve
Thanks in advance and have a great day.

Hey
You mentioned that you use dual recovery. Did you try to install the zip with philz touch (volume up when the phone vibrates) after you tried with twrp?

You did "wipe data/factory reset" before trying to install the zip? And what about your bootloader, locked or unlocked?
You probably already know this but there are two step by step guides (one for locked and the other for unlocked bootloader). Just in case you didn't recognize it:

The phone is new, two days of life, becuse it's just returned from assistance. I have just rooted it and tryed the eXistenZ rom. The bug start after the firt boot with the custom rom but after restore with original fw the situation don't change...
Write down what you exactly do if you flash the stock firmware.

after flashing by CMW the eXistenZ rom, I have falshed with flashtool (like the rom page request) the .67 kernel. At the start the rom was great but after some minutes the XZ shut down and the only thing I can do to wake it is to connect to the charger and power on. After too much death I decide to revert back to stock rom with flashtool.
For flashing the stock rom I have downloaded the ftf of .67 for my region and simply flashed on xperia... nothing strange... I think
UP! Any idea for fix this problem?
So with stock rom it works fine?

Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear that you've a problem with your Xperia Z. Please check your battery status:
1. dial *#*#7378423#*#*
2. go to service test
3. Battery health status
4. confirm that it says 'Good, no need to replace it' + check the actual Batt(uAh):
5. if not, you could always send it back to repair, they'll replace the battery under warranty.
I hope I've helped you enough. Please let us know!:fingers-crossed:

...I think it's a software problem but what can cause this bug? I have already tried to restore the phone multiple times, also with flashtool... but nothing.
No it can not be a bug if you have flashed correctly the newest stock.
I think something other is not good but I don't know what.

Nothing. All ok...
Ok, I dont think so that is a software problem when you have tryied it multiple times. Because I think you know it too: after a clean flash with a firmware which not have this bug(reviews by other users), your phone have to work fine..
What I would try too:
1. Check if sim card is good placed.
2. Try with older firmware
3. Restore NAND backup
And if nothing would help I would send it to the repair center..

Hey guys
So I have a HTC One with Android 4.3 and Sense 5.5 OTA - International version and I attempted to root it.
I performed an adb backup
I unlocked the bootloader.
Flashed it with TWRP.
Installed SuperSU 1.65
I then booted my phone and restored my backup. SuperSU app was there. Then I had to reboot my phone and upon reboot it said I have upgraded to 4.3. Then i opened the SuperSU app and I got the message a lot of people have got about having to manually re-root my phone. Then a few hours later I noticed the SuperSU app was missing from my app draw. I then went back into TWRP > install > SuperSU_1.65.zip and installed it again. There is still no SuperSU app and I don't have root access.
Unless anyone can think of a better alternative - I might flash stock recovery and lock the bootloader and just start again. So my question is, should I do that or is there something else that I can try?
Thanks in advanced.
Try using the new SuperSU 1.69 zip file.

Don't forget to also download the drivers which you can do easily with windows. Go to C:/FlashTool/drivers and click the icon. Otherwise you won't be able to enter flash mode if you haven't put the drivers in the folders too. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45464122&postcount=3

Can you unlock your bootloader? If so, then you could easily root. If you can i suggest you to unlock it.
If not, you must downgrade and get a pre-rooted firmware.

Bravia engine just oversaturates colors and make them look like amoled. No offense but if this is the only reason you should unlock.
Also bravia enginr still works for videos.

Well, its probably integrated into kernel, so it will be difficult to remove
I suggest your issues may be due to having recovery in the kernel AND dualrecovery
try deleting dual recovery using [NUT]s dual recovery removal tool from his download page.
