I've got the same error on my Galaxy 3 i9300. when i pull down the status bar the screen freezes and the ui makes a reload. It happens not every time.
I installed the snapshot build 2014.05.04 on my device after i wiped the phone with cwm.
Is there any solution for this Problem?

Problem is solved for me since nighty 23.05.

I used to have this issue, with a different app - dropbox. Turned out to be a bad flash of ROM. Stopped having this issue once I reverted to stock and installed the ROM again. Issue came in with I loaded my current ROM over an existing non-stock ROM.
That's strange cause odin'd back to stock then applied new rom last week and everything was fine then.. What I would like to know is what causes it, I would hate to re apply rom... Ugh!

I am not sure. Even clearing dalvik cache didn't help me.
This happens to me when the site is down.
hhmmm, have they been down on and off the last 2 days? I went to the market to check the comments and theres quite a few with same problem..

I know it was down last night
When the site is down, it keeps prompting for userid/pwd repeatedly. I think the issue here is that it logs out after a period inactivity.

Random reboots

Hi,
How can i control or see why and which app forlces my phone to reboot?
Kind regards

First, try to check your battery pins... I did not faced that with SGS yet, but with HD2 sometimes it caused reboots.
Second: wipe all. then, install app by app... if your "naked" phone reboots, install titanium, and freeze app by app...
I get same issue after i upgrade to 2.3.3 via kies..
worse that the system will not kill the unresponed app and keep black screen .... I have to reboot by hand and await of a long time...
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
so it may seems that it may be an issue with 2.2-> 2.3 upgrade..

I've had this even whilst upgrading through Kies. Its generally because of a bad flash, just flash the rom again, if it was through Kies call samsung and ask them for the nearest service centre if you dont want to risk flashing yourself. It could be your nearest Carphone warehouse if you are in the uk and only takes a couple of hours depending how busy they are.
i would also update your ROM, your on an old version from Darky
10.2.2 SE is very stable
Ok,
I had to change my signature. At this time i use semaphore kernel and jetpack rom. I will try the logcat.
Thanks for the answers.

slow device SGS

Hey,
Im running Android 4.2.1 Cyanogenmod 10.1
I flashed it some times ago and my device got pretty slow. I reflashed the same version, then my device runs fine and now its slow again,
Its so slow and laggy that i am not able to use it. Apps take seconds to minutes to open, caller IDs dont show up. Sometimes i am not even able to slide the bar to answer incoming calls because of lags.
The only thing i noticed is, that sometimes an error message pops up with the text "system ui shuts down" (maybe incorrect translated, in german it is: System UI wurde beendet) together with an Okay button. And if i click Okay, everything runs smooth and fast. Maybe its possible to identify the problem if i knew, what exactly shuts down so i could try to reproduce it or fix it otherwise.
Any ideas ?
Upgrade to 4.2.2 first of all and then run v6 supercharger

system ui shutdown or force closing means system doesnt properly flashed, try to fix permission first in cwm or using app, did u format system in cwm before upgrading?clearing all cache? n clearing dalvik cache?
if all already done, try doing it again n flash back ur chosen rom, or pix some stable or RC version, or maybe custom stir-boil ROM.
And 'Hey' before asking a favor kinda rude.

[Q] AOIP 8/3, 8/10, and now 6/3 reboots during app uninstall and data toggle

Hi all,
I've been using AOIP on my Exhibit since June... and have loved it, but I've recently had some reboot/crash problems.
Upon uninstalling an app or toggling cellular data off (and only off... turning it on has no effect and if the wifi turns data off I still see the same effect), the phone crashes and reboots immediately. There may be a couple more causes, but I haven't pin pointed them.
This had first occurred when I installed the 8/3 release without a full wipe. I performed a full wipe, flashed 8/3, and still experienced heavy crashing. I reverted to the 6/3 release and didn't have problems. I tried the same sequence with the same results with the 8/10 release a couple of weeks ago. I've again reverted to 6/3 without problems...
Then this morning, I noticed that my wallpaper had been reset over night (suggesting a crash) and now the phone crashes under the same scenarios mentioned above.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - I've enjoyed the ROM and hope this has been addressed with other folks and has yielded a simple solution...although I haven't seen this problem in any forums.

First, only wipe cache partition + flash the new ROM. Then, once I saw some crashing, wipe data/factor reset + wipe cache partition + flash new ROM.
I had a wallpaper reset, too. I didn't know what it might mean. Why would that indicate a crash?

I see... so I'm off on my definition. Would you suggest doing so and flashing one of the AOIP releases? If so, which release and which kernel would you recommend?

I'm running the ocuvhm kernel and it works flawless stopped most of my problems.
If you've been here long enough you'll know that some of our phones work well with OC kernels and since don't. As suggested, I recommend flashing the stock kernel (white screen) and see if that solves your problem. If it does good, if not try a different thing. Make a nandroid first.

Then try another rom and see if it does the same thing. If not, I say backup your external SD card to your computer then wipe everything including your SD card and start fresh and see if that helps.
Try TWRP instead of CMW just for the heck of it. I would try downloading everything again just to be sure

I've flashed camory's CM10 for the phone, and things seem to be running smoothly, although the new Maps (7.0) freezes up things.
I supposed I'll stick with this ROM and try out AOIP again if another version is released. Thanks for the help - try to keep me posted if this problem turns out to be repeatable and addressable...
